Hope you all enjoy the video! Things got a little hectic last month with Abby recovering, so we’re just now getting around to posting
that’s ok! im glad Abby is feeling better 💕♥️
No problem! We're all just happy you post when you get a chance ❤❤
That's good it was about her last surgery, not that she needs another one!💔
No problem love the content you are parents and your going through a lot it's normal
I thought she had to go back in for a second surgery!!
I thought that 48 hrs was nuts. I've had 3 surgeries on my back and I was only told 12 hrs. You are a beast Abby. I would've never made 48. I'm glad everything went well for you. Griffin is such a handsome little man. God bless you all.
11 years ago I had a total colectomy and I ended up developing a fistula won't go into the gross stuff that that is but basically your intestine leaks out your belly and I literally went 6 months and the only thing I was allowed by mouth was 8 oz of water a day. 11 years later I still do not get hunger pains. I do get thirsty but it's to the point where I can go to 3 days and not get hunger pains like everybody else. I feel for anybody that has to go through a 48 hour fast.
@@billk9139 3 days and no hunger? That doesn't sound healthy
@@samg873 when you had to go as long as I have you got used to not having hunger. It was better to learn that then be miserable and complaining all the time that I'm so hungry I'm so hungry I'm so hungry. So at this point in my life even after all these years I still do not truly get hungry because I went through it for what 6 months hey it is what it is I've learned to accept it I am smart enough to know I need x amount of food in a day so I play my life around that not oh my god let's stop we have to eat oh my God I'm starving to death. I know this sounds cynical but this is what I've had to live with for the last 11 years. You have a great one
@@billk9139 actually you make a very good point. Many people eat cause their bellies say so. I think with not having that indicator it probably makes life kinda easier. Like you said, you know you have to eat but you don't base your day around it
@@samg873 you got it
When i was pregnant with my first, my mom said she didnt want to be called grandma, but when that baby came, all she wanted to be called was grandma. Its a name people hold with pride. Abbys mom doesnt need to be ashamed. Its not about age, but what youve accomplished ❤️❤️❤️
Abby is doing so well, I cannot believe she stayed that strong throughout the whole journey. And I loved seeing how much matt cared for abby, so proud of you abby 💕
@@bettercallseoul1504 you have 7 subs and 3 videos...? Not the Way to gain subs.
Praying for you guys and Abby's recovery! Y'all are an amazing family and I wish you guys the best!
I’m praying for Abby! I know Abby is strong and motivated she will get through this and I know griffin isn’t old enough to know what is happening but someday he will understand! ❤❤
Just recently had oral surgery with anastethia. 48 hours is insane. My anesthesiologist instructed me to fast 12 hours prior. i don’t know how you did this abby! your a trooper! ❤️
I had to have all my teeth removed 2 years ago 😢
same! i had a couple surgeries with general anesthesia and did not have to fast for more than like 12 hours. 😳 my husband had colonoscopy done and he only fasted for 24 hours, not sure where the need for 48 hours comes from 😵💫😵💫
@@TJSPARKLE omg why?
I’m so happy Abby recovered and all is well now. I am a new subscriber and your relationship is lovely. And your wee boy is gorgeous.
Matt & Abby you’re both angels for everything you go through! I can’t even imagine how tough surgery & fasting is all whilst having anew born too but, you guys absolutely are so incredible! So happy Abby can eat/drink again now! You guys are amazing! 💯❤️
Yeah, I've never heard of a 48 hour fast! I work in the medical field too. And for a nursing mum. Ohh Abby, you are a Rockstar. Glad you have such a great support group. Stay amazing, all of you.
I just had surgery for my colorectal cancer (they took a tumour out of my colon) and I had to do all the same prep as Abby! And mine was on September 20th, so we were basically going through the same thing at the same time!! Hope you’re healing up well!
I hope you are healing well, too!
I have a loved one who went through similar surgery recently. How are you fairing on?
So good to know Abby is feeling better ❤
You guys are such an amazing family! You make me laugh every time I watch a video! I pray for Abby while she has surgery. I literally love you channel so much and won’t ever stop watching it! I can’t believe how big Griffin is already it’s crazy❤❤
I’m so happy that she is doing better and she is so sweet and has such a kind heart!
Yes indeed! Big time trooper. Griffin is just to cute.
So glad to hear Abby is doing better!! Will be praying for a speedy recovery as surgery is no easy thing to go though. Love you guys so much! Also Abby is so strong and admire how strong she is!
I love you I’ve been following you since like the start I love catching up on your journey and seeing Griffin’s little smiley face thank you for posting I love it and you just complete my day❤❤
I felt so bad for you Abby! I've had numerous surgeries and the longest I had to stop eating or drinking was maybe 12 hours before a craniofacial surgery. Matt was an absolute sweetheart! Love the video! Glad you're feeling better!
Praying for you Abby. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Sending lots of love your way. 🤍🙏✝️
I love that you shared your experience! I’ve had 2 surgeries and I know that pain of no food or water hours before even though all you want is one sip of water, or one little bite of food even though you can’t! Recovery is super hard and she’s being so strong and doing great!! Sending my love to your family, and praying for a speedy recovery for Abby 🥰
Abby is precious. Abby your the Best mother. Matt is the the sweetest most lovable dad & hubby. You guys are so BLESSED to have each other! Many sweet blessings to the both of you & sweet baby!
Prayers sent! Hope she heals well! 🙏🏻
Abby is such a trooper!! Love you guys, thanks for always making my day!!

Awh! Hope you are doing well Abby ❤ you are so brave girl!
I'm glad that abby is alright and feeling better❤️❤️❤️
Abby you were such a brave soul. Hope you are recovering strong and still being cautious. Great team ou Matt and your beautiful mom made. Take Care
I'm glad you are doing much better. You are a strong woman. You both got this.
I pray for Abby to be well and safe after her surgery so she can take care of Griffen like she should get too!!❤️
You’re too sweet! Abby is recovering great. She has about two weeks left of recovery and then she can start being active again. Woohoo!! (surgery took place last month)
Abby is a strong, independent woman and I also has surgery the same day, on my knees. I can relate to Abby. But hey girl, you did it! It took you 3 days!
The two of you did awesome! You are blessed to have each other and Griffin!
Bless you Gabby, you are always the best trooper. You go girl!
What a warrior! Glad she's on the other side of the surgery and all that awful protocol 💓 those blowouts were probably brought on by the miralax 😆 you guys are a tremendous unit. I'm in AZ too and seeing your joy with it cooling down and getting rain was very affirming haha!
Good luck to your family! Love your channel!
Sending you good vibes. Wishing you a fast recovery!
Abby, you are a fantastic girl because of all the things you do. Matt, you are so supportive and a great guy. I am glad the surgery went well and Griffin can continue to feed.
Having a family helping makes a world of difference. There are people out there all alone, with no one to help. You greats are great
Matt and Abby are the most amazing parents, While having a joke they also make sure to be sensible with Griffin. Well done and recover well Abby
Abby you are so brave and I admire how strong you are
U are sooo strong Abby!!! Great job matt... U took so great care of her!!
AHHHH. I have to do this at least a few times a years having ulcerative colitis with regular scopes/colonoscopies. It’s agonizing. I can’t imagine being a breastfeeding new mama on top of it. I HATE THIS FOR YOU. But I’m so inspired of you kicking this in the butt. And grateful to God your okay!!
I work for a general surgeon here in Gilbert that does hernia surgeries all the time and I have never heard of anyone having to fast for that long! I hope recovery is going well :))
I love y’all! Stay strong Abby I will be praying for you❤️
Abby is absolutely amazing and such a strong person! But I also just wanna point out how amazing matt is. Because yes he is her husband and of course he’s not gonna just leave her to fend for herself but it is not easy caring for somebody. And he just never seems to get upset or tired of it and that is not easy😅. You guys are such both amazing people I just love watching your channel!
I’m so glad Abby is feeling better❤

the recent editing game has been super dope Matt! love the little voiceover style and then a video edition lol, it shows some bts😂Abby is SO strong, glad she is healing well from this surgery🤗☺️
I'm happy that Abby is feeling better! Matt you're a champ for being an amazing husband and father!! I'm so glad Abby is out of this, will be praying for the family :)
Just a note for those on the same diet. Ask if you can have miso soup broth. I had pho broth and miso broth and it was the thing that pulled me through!
Sending you love Abby!❤️ and be safe guys sending you guys so so much love❤️❤️
THE END HAD ME DYING!! I probably would of had the same reaction haha! Love watching your videos! Enjoy your Halloween!
That was what I was thinking. I've undergone 2 major surgeries and I've never gone through fasting like that. The most maybe was 6-8 hours? Then there's the laxatives and/or enema, but that's it. 48 hours??? Then another 12??? AND this is knowing you're breastfeeding still. geezz. Sucks to have that doctor for sure. Hope you get well the soonest, Abby! 💕
I hope you feel better! love you guys💓💓💓
I use this video to relax me because it is so heart warming. Abby your amazing ❤❤❤❤
I am a nurse and I kept wondering why she needed to fast for that long! It’s usually only eight hours. I feel so bad for Abby 😢 But the worst part is over!
Agreed!
Yeah her surgeon seemed to be over the top about it all. Also the after care about not taking medications because of breastfeeding was also really unusual! She was able to safely have the things she was prescribed and breastfeed but the surgeon said no. 🫣 Pharmacists have been calling her out on Insta too.
I think 48 hours was crazy! I had surgery on my arm so a lot less serious but still I had to fast for 24 hours. I arrived at the hospital and they told us that I only had to fast and not drink for 6 hours! I was crazy upset after I came off anesthesia lol, glad everything is great for you!
Love you guys! Wishing you the best of Luck 🤞
Abby is so strong she is a amazing mom and Matt is such a amazing dad love you all💗💗💗
I couldn’t imagine not being able to eat while breastfeeding my daughter. Abby is so strong for that. Our bodies need those extra calories to keep up our energy. Abby you’re amazing and watching you actually makes me feel so much better on my bad days.
Things have been so rough this year with my brother in law passing two weeks before our daughter was born and now my fourteen year old brother has cancer😩 it’s just been rough and finding things to smile and laugh about has been so rough. I’m just trying to hold my family together, keep my emotions under control for my daughter’s sake and comforting my husband. Y’all’s videos help so much. Seriously thank you for the amazing content and just keep doing what you’re doing.
sending you love ♥️ so sorry you’re going through all of that
I cant belive how much Abby went through for this surgery.Lets pray for abby to recover safely
Awe Abby you are such a sweetheart and so are you Matt. Just love watching you guys. I laughed so hard when I first seen the after surgery comments on Instagram. Still really funny. I’m so glad it’s all over and you are done abby. Stay strong mama. Matt you are husband/father of the year. Keep it you you too.
Good luck Abby! Stay strong ❤
The fact that she said it’s only 90
well it is Arizona
@@SunflowerPrincess.arizona is so hot😭👍🏻
24 hours of fasting? that's crazy. I also had hernia surgery with a nursing toddler. I only had to fast from midnight before surgery. U truly r superwoman!
48…
I give you the best of luck during your surgery!!
Well done Abby I know how it feels I’m 14 and needed surgery on my mouth and did the same thing. It is seriously hard and I think that it is amazing that you made it through the two days and the surgery.
Matt you are such great husband and Abby you are so strong how did you do that ❤
"I just haven't showered, or shaved, or brushed my teeth today" 🤣👏👏👏
she was soo strong i could never love the ending sending all m love ❤😘
You guys always make me smile!!!😀
I was going to say… I’ve never heard anyone fast more than 24 hours 😳 She’s amazing.
I've never had to fast anywhere near that long, and I've had a lot of surgeries! That's crazy to ask a breastfeeding mother to do so, unnecessarily risking her milk supply.
Love you guys 💕
You guys are so strong
you are so strong abby!💕
i felt extra bad for abby when he said that she could've just fasted for 8 hours instead of 2 whole days, i hope she's feeling better now.
O.m.g! No wonder she was so upset! That Doctor was crazy! 48 hours AND the fact that she is a breast feeding that Doctor was OUT OF LINE!!
The same surgeon told her not to medicate after, because of feeding which was wrong. Pharmacists have been calling it out. Saying it's safe to breastfeed and use the pain relief but she went cold turkey without it.
We love you Abby,❤ hope the surgery went well
first,Good luck abby hope you do well! Matt take very good care of her!❤️❤️#teamABBY
Yeahhh I thought 48 hours seemed a little bit odd…. I’d be pissed, that’s extremely unhealthy for a nursing mother. Poor Abby. She is so strong for going through all of that!
48hrs? I've never heard of that. Usually 8hrs, 12hrs max. 48hrs just seems very unesseesary.
Yeah, my mom is having surgery soon and she only is going to fast for 11 hours because she’ll be asleep for most of a bit, but Abby’s surgery is more intense so I don’t know
love yall, I hope Abby gets gets better soon
Y’all are so inspiring!
You guys are the BEST couple on youtube imo! Love from New Zealand!
Praying for a speedy recovery 🙏
You’ll be amazing Abby!
Hope you're feeling better Abby I have did surgery on my colon where I could not eat for 2 days or drink for 24 hours it was hell pure hell so I can only imagine what you felt like being a breastfeeding mom hopefully you get back here normal self fast and got us quick recovery in the last part of that video had me cracking up
Lol... Loved the end and Matt you take such good care of her and griffin❤️
