1) That cop was having a bad day overall, so he decided to take it out on you(sad). 2) The motorcyclist was being dramatic and making a big deal out of a situation, that could have been easily handled. 3) If you were "claustrophobic"(which I do not think you are not). You would have not had a helmet on all throughout your ride(helmets are pretty TIGHT, depending on the SIZE).
Claustrophobic… let’s forget about the fact he was riding with the helmet on for a moment…. He was yelling at the cop to give him his key back… instead of taking his helmet off.
Dear bikers, if the back of your jacket does read “Police”, you don’t get to lecture other road users. Especially after accelerating into a disappearing gap.

No offense but cutting in front of that white Toyota SUV wasn't a really clever idea. Even if you are riding according to the laws and merging properly, you already saw that they were tailgating so why risk it? Needless to say, if this would happen the other way around most motorcyclist would rev and swear because that stupid SUV rider "cut" in front of them. I understand that you followed traffic rules but I always try avoid such situations for my own safety. In the end though, what the white SUV did was hit and run indeed.

don't americans hae something about protection rom illegal search and seizure? Seizing someone's keys seems like an illegal seizure to me...but i'm not american so not 100 percent on this.
@@noid919 no, taking the keys is a simple measure to stop the biker from just riding away, which experience tells us (and the police officer) is exactly what BM would have done if he had been given the chance. @@noid919 I agree it seems like it would be a violation so I Googled it up and lawyers, real ones with law offices, not the UA-cam kind, seem to say the cops can take your keys as it's "di minimis" or a very trivial intrusion on your civil rights. So it seems the US court agree it's a violation of your civil rights but it's trivial so it's ok.
@@ArminGrewe I don't have any experience with BM so I don't know what he planned/wanted to do. Overall it just seems weird that you guys have this constitutional protection for illegal seizure but that's straight up what the cop does and everyone seems cool with it cos BM seems like a bit of a tool. Here a single cop is trying to detain multiple bikers for no articulated reason, and he starts the interaction in a completely hostile matter, in the middle of traffic no less which will stress out the bikers. It's bad and dangerous policing, no excuses, even if the guy is being ""unreasonable"" for having his civil rights violated, there is no reason to spare any sympathy for the state. But sure, if you want to live in a police state where cops treat their badges like crowns, by all means, defend the cops.
That deer scared the heck out of me 😮 Careful out there , ride safe .
Always keep an eye out for forks on the road. This one just happened to actually be a fork coming onto the road. 😂😂 3:29
Today I'd like to address the fact that loads of riders seem to think it is the responsibility of other traffic to keep them safe. If you are zooming through traffic, it is your job to always be able to safely slow down for any obstacles. Whether that concerns cars turning into the road, other riders in front slowing down, cars changing lanes, construction work in progress, lights changing to red, or even fallen trees or elephants sleeping on the road. Stop blaming others for your own stupidity.
The last guy was being a jerk. His antics was just making his situation worse. You had a camera. If you ft like your rights were being violated take the camera to a lawyer and file charges
When does confronting a driver, for deliberate malice or innocent mistake, pay off?
Jeez that last biker..what a karen
why ? Becouse he Protect his Rights ? I Mean yeah is a little Overdramatic but i think this was not the First Time Cops "Work" like that in his City
He is a Karen. Show me where it says the cop cannot hold his keys.
@@hauptberuflichergandalf3238 When police are stopping you to investigate a vehicular crime, you'd better STFU and cooperate fully if you are innocent. Otherwise, you WILL be guilty of resisting and then you ARE a guilty of a crime.
@@davidparker667 It's called property rights. Unlawful seizure, and probably unlawful arrest, since he had no means to leave, and was not even suspected of a crime and informed of that he was detained. Even so taking the keys is dangerous, since the cops has no Idea of how this particular bike works, by doing so he is technically operating it without the owners consent.
Wrong
1) That cop was having a bad day overall, so he decided to take it out on you(sad).
2) The motorcyclist was being dramatic and making a big deal out of a situation, that could have been easily handled.
3) If you were "claustrophobic"(which I do not think you are not). You would have not had a helmet on all throughout your ride(helmets are pretty TIGHT, depending on the SIZE).
I bet it was less the cop having a "bad day" and more a bunch of squids with hidden license plates breaking every traffic law in the book.
Claustrophobic… let’s forget about the fact he was riding with the helmet on for a moment….
He was yelling at the cop to give him his key back… instead of taking his helmet off.
🔥
Dear bikers, if the back of your jacket does read “Police”, you don’t get to lecture other road users. Especially after accelerating into a disappearing gap.
I think you meant "doesn't", and yeah, I'm the typo police.
@@CyberChrist Lock him up and takes his key!
3:32 is truly scary to me. Just because the biker handled it correctly having good awareness and nothing happened doesn't mean it couldn't turn out really really bad.
Rider cut him off and then tries to play victim. No situational awareness at all. Lucky he wasn't seriously injured. He learned nothing from this at all it seems.
@@terryrobertson111 (facepalm). He wasn't trying to play anything. The idiot in the white SUV hit him deliberately for following traffic rules. The one who needs to learn something from this appears to be you.🙄

Grow up BM, you could get accidentally shot raising your hands on a cop. Keep your hands at your sides, otherwise your actions could be interpreted as an assault (an action that causes another fear that you will strike them). Also, you are screaming at a cop in such a manner that suggests you are on something more than adrenaline. That officer was super tolerant of your really crazy antics while he was trying to do his job as to the other bikers. You weren’t the target, he had a procedure, you were hindering him . . . why exactly? Notes.
don't americans hae something about protection rom illegal search and seizure? Seizing someone's keys seems like an illegal seizure to me...but i'm not american so not 100 percent on this.
@@noid919 no, taking the keys is a simple measure to stop the biker from just riding away, which experience tells us (and the police officer) is exactly what BM would have done if he had been given the chance. If he hadn't done anything wrong as he claims the keys would have been returned to him as soon as the facts were established.
I know if I was on that bike the cop gave tons of time to ride off before he could do anything about it (not that I would).
I also live in a rough area and if I was stopped by the police while walking down the street for zero reason, yet they then shackled my legs because some people like to run away from cops I would not be happy.
Overall it just seems weird that you guys have this constitutional protection for illegal seizure but that's straight up what the cop does and everyone seems cool with it cos BM seems like a bit of a tool. Using the whole "if he hadn't done anything wrong..." is like being happy to be searched if you "haven't got anything to hide".
Bravo moto 😂
I prefer my bikes medium rare
9:30 BRAVO MOTO love how you start the video at 40MPH not the 100plus we all KNOW you were doing !!! you guys drive like A-holes and then freak out when held to account! Yeah the cop was a tool but you all need to LOSE your licenses !!

Honestly, these videos are a great to see that 99% of all accidents can be avoided by NOT SPEEDING and anticipating the cage rider in front of you could do something stupid so slow down when you're near them.
Disrespect will get you nowhere, I don’t think the cop saw an opportunity to harass bikers, something’s there.
yep and he bake a lot of laws at this stop...

Most motorcycle drivers drive much to fast and agressive. I'm a motorrider to but drive carefully and normal
You can be fast and aggressive (in the "deciding what happens and getting what you want" sense) yet not stupid. But it doesn't usually end up in crashes or close calls, so we don't often get to see it here.
5:30 mate you aint even indicating and you clearly know its an issue around that place that people pass the line before they are supposed to so surely at minimum you indicate but even better look over your shoulder would of saved this from happening probably I am a bit shocked the police did nothing after seen a deliberate ram but not sure why you said no broken bones you probably didn't even have a bruise from it lets be honest.
DON'T argue with the Police in the Street ... Get an Attorney and argue with the Judge in a Court if you feel you've been wronged ffs. That last guy is not living his best life......
They can take your keys if you’re riding dangerously.
And if one of you runs when they show up it's pretty good evidence that they need to take keys.
I did a little Google searching and the lawyers, like real ones, from law firms, seem to think the cops can take the keys. That's why I carry two spares. Cop takes one and I sneak and put a spare in. If he notices that one and takes it I pull the other one out and wave it at him and laugh. 🤣
@@ARCNA442 I'm not sure that's how the rules of evidence work. At least in the US they don't work that way. One guy on a motorcycle running tells the cop nothing about what some other biker is going to do.
