I'm glad to see someone defend the Cars 3 movie, people seemed to have not given it a chance or were biased due to the poor taste in viewers' mouths after Cars 2. I would like to think in an alternate reality, Cars 3 was Cars 2 and Cars 2's plot was shortened into an episode of Mater's Tall Tales where the ending implies that Mater made it up.
Oh, Avalanche Software's back from the dead? That's pretty neat, I liked their Toy Story 3 game version (on Wii, 360, etc.). Disney Infinity played pretty much the same way except it introduced a level editor and they made it suck to choose a character there, because of the "toys to life"-deal. Let's see what they'll make in the future, they have some potential.

When you unlock freeplay on the Cars 2 game, you can choose the difficulty as well as number of laps, not that different from Cars 3, if not done better in transparent blue graphics.

FYI ,shooting weapons backwards in Cars 2 was a thing. Just pushing the steering analog down reverses the aim of the weapon. For weapons that deployed backwards, pushing the stick up would shoot them forward.
Actually in cars two you could flick the stick back to shoot back. You had to hold it down Also my opinion of best to worst: 1: Cars Race O Rama 2: Cars 3: Cars 2 4: Cars Mater National 5: Cars 3 Driven To Win
If i'd make a cars game it would be simular to the og cars game except you play as a custom next-genpiston cup racer (world of cars online style) progressing on the piston cup season visiting different locations and being able to get better sponsors etc.

Fun fact the developer behind this game a few years later would go to release Hogwarts Legacy, a big improvement over Driven to Win in my opinion

The kart racing style makes me think of Mad Max in Cars world. Hahaha would be an amazing crossover film to have Max as his car in the Cars universe.
