I don't think they'd ever put a 9 yr old in the same class. But as a 28 yr old I practice Jiu Jitsu and there are 14yr olds in my class. Lol. They keep up. Some are even better.
The way Kramer says "not from Newman" paints a hilarious scene that I wish was written in the episode. Kramer trying to find support from his friends for his newfound passion of Ka-rate.
Whoa, whoa, cant?! When did that word enter your vocabulary? What, is the job to difficult? *[YES]* You don't have enough experience? *[NO]* You're not smart enough? *[NOOOO]* Where's your confidence? 🤷♂️

kramer's delivery on "is that the discount pharmacy?" is perfect :D i love how upset and confused they all get about places they don't know. like george going "then who are the dutch??!!", elaine shouting "BURMA??" to peterman, etc.
@@nicolaslementec Entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr.'s (1925-90) autobiography was "Yes, I Can". I'm wondering if Jerry left off the "Jr." part deliberately to avoid getting in legal trouble for referring to him without permission.

One of the things we were always told about karate growing up is that it doesn't matter your size, it's your skill level. It is perfect that Kramer not only takes this to absurd levels to conclude this scene but uses his story to inspire Elaine. It makes you wonder about the self-help industry, job interviews and the like.
I don't know jack about martial arts, but I know that if you put someone of equal skill against each other, except one of them is twice the size of the other one, I'm putting my money on the big guy. I'm willing to take any bet that the little guy bites the dust 9 times out of 10. Let's see them spout their 'size doesn't matter' mantra after that, lol.
There is no show on tv nowadays that has so much pull for people to drop everything and watch. All they can do now is recast old shows or bring back top cast member in these old shows. Nothing new anymore. Thankfully we have UA-cam to bring back these great memories
"we"re all at the same skill level Jerry" hahahaha only Kramer can say that and be totally ok with his logic
Jerry the whole building is made out bricks.
He is correct. They are on the same skill level.

Sponge Bob SquarePants before SBS.

James Relich you know that’s probably the smartest comment anywhere I’ve read all year.
Why, thank you sir!
@James Relish maybe she made the same mistake Jerry did. Thought Joey and Kramer had class at the same time and were just carpooling.
She was probably flying high with confidence that she didn't notice.
Lol I was thinking that right before seeing this. Not Elaine's brightest moment, but then again, Jerry also didn't suspect Kramer was fighting kids.
Everyone needs a kramer in their life
You like people walking in your home un-anounced & taking what ever they want out of your refridgerator?
Most of us do to some degree. That’s why it’s so funny!!

It just means Kramer never heard of the country and assumes it must be the name of a pharmacy in New York.

"You're not qualified to WORK at the catalogue!" So many years later, still laughing at this line.
Then one ups it with your not qualified to work at the catalogue.
She's not J. Peterman material.
She had one good catalogue writing though : Himalayan walking shoes. But Urban sombrero completely failed .
Delivered like an affirmation.

I like how Kramer's entire support system is Jerry and Newman
He talks as if they were married !
Theroux George? He can't even support himself.
I love Kramer's "We're all at the same skill level, Jerry." Like he really believes it. Best show ever.
As the karate skill level, he must be right. Strenght is, maybe, another story.
Yes but they dont really *level* all the same....
You are fighting children Krammer? .....We are all at the same skill level" that left me in stitches!
That kid is yellow belt, Kramer is white, therefore that kid is at a HIGHER skill level than Kramer!
Very true
He should've been able to beat Kramer then.
Thanks I'll sleep better knowing that.
Hope the kid doesn't wring Kramer neck lol
You realize it goes white to yellow, both of which are considered beginners.

Gotta love how conveniently you can hear the car horn from Jerry's apartment, like it's coming from just across the hall.
That frying pan face, and plain looks, okay kinda attractive like Costanza says, helps Dryfus with her comedy imo
Damn, this scene is great. I love seinfeld
This is one of my favourite gags because what Kramer says about karate is logically consistent and yet insane. That's comedy!
I like how a horn was heard even though they live on like the 5th floor or so
In addition to the fact that he’s fighting children, notice that the dojo champ is at the same skill level as a yellow belt.
