5 minutes in: As a resident of nullsec in an alliance with NBSI rules, being a neutral in null is amounting to eating very spicy peppers. It hurts like hell on the way in and out, but the rush is worth it. Edit, returning player, thanks for the 1m SP.
Null I find to be the safest space if you are in one of the major coalitions. Intel networks are so good for the most point you really need to be sleeping to get killed especially in a sub cap.
I haven't played since the days I was in the Orphanage, to say the least. it's been a while. How much would I have to relearn? Will I be coming back as a complete noob? I feel like enough has changed I'll be at such a loss with my 25+mil SP accounts
I am part of a smaller alliance in null and have to move a long ways to get to the blue space, been trying to find a way there, but I have no knowledge of what alliances own what. Any tips?
@@doctorthomYT i would suggest you to try to look for a shipping service, i just sold everything before moving down to null and i just rebought the necessery stuff.
and if you have not gotten to your staging system i would suggest setting your alliance home station home remotely and deathclone there (don't death clone with implants) but it has a 1 year cooldown
I've gotten the hang of using d-scan in FW, but how do you get it to show warp bubbles? Is there a filter that shows capsuleers _plus_ bubbles? Sorry if this is a dumb question - I just logged out for the night, or I'd go looking for it myself..
It's better to have sov/alliance knowledge, then operate as a rentor/neutral, than the other way around. I not only make considerably more, but I have less stress from SOV politics. Also teaches you to defend yourself rather relying on a sov standby fleet. Idk, being a rentor and expediting your assets ASAP every day or so makes things easier imo.
But if you're a newbro, join a sov/alliance day 1. They will help train you and teach you. Join their discord and ask questions. If you're a vet, idk, dscan more lmao
There are places in null space called "NPC Null" regions like Stain, and Syndicate have NPC stations all over the place. Outside of these spaces, there are some systems that are claimed in some regions by NPC's, but they are few and far between. Jump freighters are not available for Alpha clones, you'll need to Omega.
Love your vids, but I gotta say the acronyms and eve lingo in an explainer video just makes the video hard to watch, I've tuned out half way through because I don't know half of what you're saying. It would help if you explain the concepts of what your saying a bit more as well as use as little eve lingo as you can, a lot of begginers are here
Living in null is crap. Ive been there for five days all ive done so far. Was able to mine for an hour the other night. Kill a few rats at the asteroid belt. The rest has been fleet after fleet. Peed me off tonight when fleet commander asked me to fly a ship i could barely fly due to going for a different faction for my skills. Wish i had stayed in my dead high sec system where i was on my own.
Find a good corp that is part of an alliance. Generally speaking you won’t find your forever alliance first time around. Also train your main to make yourself a good recruit helps.
Tip: I played for years and never saw a single spreadsheet, had tons of fun when I waited for the right opportunity. So my tip: Don’t play if you are impatient.
Tip; 1. Start play !! You dont have to bother mate , there is program EvE Isk Per Hour .... 2. Play EvE Online !!! If you wanna fly a ship , dont fly it ...unless you know you'll have second ship ....
GREAT video! Lots of useful information! Thank you.
Living in null yes every neut is a problem, learned the hard way.

I am a returning player also with 35mil skill points, from what I've learnt it's the ships that have changed so much. Got to learn the ship tree again

o7 doc, about the moving part, is it about ships or generally just to get there?
@@MilianSwe both ig, trying to get a ratting ship far out

Slow is fast. repeat it again, "slow is fast". Additionally, once you multi-box you realize deeply how dangerous a neut may be.
Why do you have to multibox to realize neuts are dangerous?

Cobalt edge was a really fun place to live.
Can you recommend a nullsec group to join?
Thanks for the "noise - signal" info. So nul doesn't have docking stations other than player owned? 👍✌🖖🥃 Jump freighters can be used by alphas?

New Player here, lost me at cynoing.
Favorite one liner..."go eat a sandwich or something"
I don't play very often, are there any major alliances that accommodate people like me?

Need a different Corp. certain corps expect a lot more than others do.
As a returning player how would you suggest i get into an alliance?

I'm here because the Marshall lol
Nullsec is the safe space. Highsec is the scary area.
I think null and low gameplay is too toxic so I don't go there ever.
WH space is safer. I have anthor for reactions in one.
Personally i love it. Good money, and it teaches you to hone your abilities in a positive way
train me master @ ign FallenAPEX
