I had an ST but it was getting very under-featured and dated. This has been a fantastic bike for me so far. Everyone talks about the weight but the weight is actually quite well distributed - the front is light and agile. I don't find it top heavy in any way. It leans into corners brilliantly. Luggage is great and well made - all the gizzmos on the bike are fantastic. I could not wish for a better machine - not only that it can filter through traffic, even with panniers on, as well as my old ST.
well i had one of these all summer 2014 as a demo, it was brilliant economy, comfort , features , luggage all great can't fault it. Heavy though i have to say hence couldn't hold it when slipped on fuel in petrol station and dropped it, nearly man cried and heard myself apologising to the bike when i lifted all 300kg of it back up. got my blackbird back and am looking to get the triumph asap, oh and get grippy boots and big biceps.
I really like this motorcycle. I was considering the ST1300 but it needs updated. I think the Triumph has much more to offer.
Enjoyed this.
I hope to visit the triumph's house as soon is possible... regards from Mexico City 👍🤘🏼🤘🏼
nice review.... good job!!
I found the Volume control sorted the Bagpipes out!
Nice Bike Triumph and put side by side with the BMW R1200RT....very different, or as much as a Large Touring Bike can be!
Yep nice review, roll on the spring :)
I look at alot of these UA-cam videos...This is easily one of the best.Thank you...Make more motorcycle video reviews!
So far you have the only decent video review of the new Trophy. I've read a few very good, detailed, reviews. One even said it's the best bike Triumph makes, period. Ideally I need one of these and a Daytona, but that's not happening. Anyway, once I get my dmo rides in I'll know if I want to replace my Tiger 800 with a sport bike or a full sport tourer.
What tune are the bagpipes playing?
...now that I cooled off a bit.....how would these compare with 'Guzzi Stelvio..for comfy
and handling?....anyone...?
Innnterresting! Reading a bit of online tittle tattle people say Triumph are more reliable than BMW. I suppose that might be true, might it not. Those people are British, as is Triumph.. just saying. Anyway, has anyone found the suspension slightly stiff? .. or the Electronic Suspension Adjustment (sorry, EAS Triumph call it) ineffective - as some online reviews of the Trophy mention?
Triumph was originally a German company! Strange but true! I find the EAS to be effective. I like it!
2022-01-04 : I’m a Swede and normally a BMW guy , but they’re so overpriced today.
There’s 2 here in Sweden 🇸🇪 , SE models.
Not even 2.000 km on the tacho !
I asked a Triumph dealer why it hasn’t been a big seller , and the answer was that ”the Explorer stole the whole show !”
Triumph ; c’mon bring us a new Trophy 🏆.
Not everyone is a Explorer / GSA driver !!
Really sad they no longer make a touring bike like this. And no don’t tell me the tiger is it. I have one of each 😎
It’s a real shame they don’t make them new still, or I would have bought a new one in 2020; had to buy used and added it to my Tiger too!
@@Jon-zj2nj I've been told it's silly to have both but I think they compliment each other well.

Agreed, it’s great chopping between the two 👍
I absolutely love the TTSE. My only gripe is the Triumph Triple whining sounds, a lot like a series 3 Land Rover. I am still struggling to accept that an engineering company would pass that as acceptable.
Fuck, I hate bag pipes.
Triumph definitely copied the BMW R1200RT. The integrated mirrors are not my cup of tea on either bike. Forces you to move your eyes down to check the mirrors. Most bikes have the mirrors up high in your line-of-sight---a much more practical design.
Fortunately, Triumph fitted the same handlebar levers to this as they do to the Tiger Explorer, meaning the screw hole mounts are there and ready to accept some proper mirrors. I know, I’ve fitted them to mine 👍
left my ears bleeding
Scotland the Brave
Been looking at this bike but too computerized for my taste
i think this bike needs a windscreen wiper to help on rainy days
british cows on both sides. The pipes are indeed annoying !
I bought this bike in part due to this vid. Sadly it has been the worst bike I have ever owned. I have had it 3 months and it has been in the shop 4 times due to a battery drain that Triumph seems to refuse to fix let a lone adress. The bike has starnded me 3 times due to the battery problem. This seems to be a north american problem with there bike. I have called triumph 3 times emailed thenm 4 times.. and have yet to ever EVER had them respond back to me. If you live in the United States run away from this bike as fast as you can. Just go on triumph forum and see for yourself...$22,000 for I bike I cannot trust to take me 30 miles.
Huh, Thanks for the heads up, I've been trying to decided between Either another Moto Guzzi or this bike.. So far it's looking like I'm getting the Norge to be in the Garage with my current Guzzi as well.
I spend a lot of time on Triumph forums and this is the first and only time I’ve heard of this. Certainly doesn’t affect mine.
