Good move for Tomori, Most English players get lost in the big team picture, Foden is an exception and that speaks to the nature of his talent perhaps. Until Lampard, most players from the academy struggled to get a look in , same for most of the other big team too. The loan system is more of a market place than a conveyor belt due to the pressures at money at stake.
I agree, seeing all of these young guys getting loaned to championship teams, wouldn't it be better if more of them bet on themselves like Tomori has and head to the Eredivise, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga or even the Portuguese league for more game time at a higher level? A lot of them could get the consistency and coaching to prove themselves?
Until Lampard most academy players struggled to get a look in?? What? Are you referring to West Ham's academy? Because Lampard joined Chelsea from West Ham when he was about 21
Better for Tomori to have gone and become the main man for Milan in defence rather than just sitting on the Chelsea bench. I wish more English players would go overseas while they're still young if they aren't getting enough game time for their development instead of just being loaned to the championship throughout their early 20s
Ironic that I met Paul Simpson last night at the Man City v Brentford match and asked him about his triumph of winning that tournament and he told me he now prefers the assistants managers role because he has more time with the players during warm up preparations at the start of games rather than as a manager.. Not entirely true. Maybe for England and that may explain why English teams struggle at the top end of senior competition. There's no conveyor belt when these guys have played together and won together to give them the confidence, unlike Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and France who typically take the progression seriously. @@ChibuzorNwaezeapu I am German and the great young German players don't play U20s (Havertz, Musiala just some examples from recent years) I think it has to do with the progression of academies and how a talent used to be someone at the age of 21 to 23 when nowadays this is considered an age at which a player is pretty much who he is going to be moving forward. I was at the final in South Korea and was very impressed by a lot of players who were playing. As I live here, I followed the whole competition and found it funny that the Koreans bought up all the final tickets, but as soon as they were knocked out by Portugal in the round of 16, they cancelled them all meaning I could go to final. The players...The player who really stood out to me the whole of the competition was Ojo. Woodman was excellent throughout. Jonjoe Kenny was bombing down the wing with intent and looked really good. Tomori was very assured at centre back. Walker-Peters excellent like Kenny. Those two showed their credentials as wing backs. Onomah had an excellent final. Solanke bullied all the defences he played against (thought he'd go onto much much bigger things) Lookman pushes Ojo for the player who impressed me the most during the World Cup. DCL was excellent too. And his partnership with Solank was fantastic. It seems weird to think how these players careers have gone. DCL and Tomori have gone onto bigger things and players like AMN have kind of stalled, even though he's got it all to be a big player. Maybe it's just a case of finding the right clubs, I suppose. But like I said, Ojo was the one stand out player for me, who's gone nowhere really after showing such promise in these finals. Always funny to think that I saw England win a World Cup. And I didn't know the words to the national anthem either. Boring rubbish.
Video idea: Take the top seven premier league goal scorers and find their value per premier league goal. So take the transfer fees and wages the cost of the player and find out how much the club payed for goal. Then the top 7 most valuable goal scorers, to make it less research intense you could do a minimum appearance?
When peoples will understand youth competitions aren't important only the transition between youth academy and senior team are important and England is so bad at that unlike Germany, Spain, Italy and of course the most dominant country for producing players right now... France.

Please make a video on Thonon Evian, or on Fans United as it was 25 years to the date on 8th Feb
Azaming video
Can you do a video on 7 teams who had to lose their star players to flourish
You are true fan of hull city, great video
Clarke-Salter is fucking class
As a Canadian, this just makes me wish that Tomori was playing for our world cup team.
Video idea:
Take the top seven premier league goal scorers and find their value per premier league goal. So take the transfer fees and wages the cost of the player and find out how much the club payed for goal. Then the top 7 most valuable goal scorers, to make it less research intense you could do a minimum appearance?
A rather niche where are they now I’d recommend is the Millwall XI from the 2004 FA cup final.
Bournemouth didn't come down last year, it's not an immediate prem return
The U17 final took place in my hometown Kochi, Kerala
Lookman has confirmed he will play for Nigeria henceforth
Hey can you do a video on the best players in the Championship
I was literally in that stadium in goa seeing Sancho and Foden when I was 10
John Joe Kenny: He got 3 first names
Really enjoyed this
Osmanlispor 2016-17 Squad Where are they now 💡
I would just like to say Dowell scored a hattrick for Wigan against your Hull City in the 8-0 win so check your stats he has two hattricks!
Do the England 1966 World cup winning squad and Where Are They Now? next
6 feet under.
@@goattm2 lol
When peoples will understand youth competitions aren't important only the transition between youth academy and senior team are important and England is so bad at that unlike Germany, Spain, Italy and of course the most dominant country for producing players right now... France.
I'm sure there is a player who you didn't mention. Brewster? I thought he scored in the final aswel but you didn't have him in your video & I was wondering why?
I think Brewster was U17s, this is the U20s (both won WCs in 2017).
@@sthill1993 thanks but I'm sure in these hilights it was Brewster who scores to make it 2-1 England. ⚽️ 🏴 this is what confused me. Watch it & see lol 😆😂👍🏻😎
england under 19 euro winners where are they now
Hi love your channel have been a subscriber for a long time
I have an idea for a video best player in each position with their Shirt no. same as the position they play in eg. goalkeeper No.1 Allison , No.2 right back eg. Walker, left back no.3 so on
Keep going mate...
Wish Tomori stayed with Canada. Fraudgate will barely play him.
Luke Southwood, the 3rd goalkeeper now represents Northern Ireland.
Please do the U-17 World Cup winners
The first picture for gk is Jack butland
Pretty much everyone scored a hat trick for Wigan against Hull that game, you didn’t even turn up and we were fighting an unjust administration
Best German players in the premier league of all time. (Day 274)
I will not give up until the video is made or Alfie himself tells me to stop. Everyone else telling me that will be ignored.
If you don't believe my number, just go back to the previous videos. I'm at the bottom most of the time, but I'm there.
don't see how that is interesting tbh
Amazing Vid like always
Pretty sure that’s Jack Butland, not Freddie in the first photo.
U forgot that Dean Henderson was on loan at Grimsby Town
Can we please have a where on earth is Séwé Sport de San-Pedro 3 time Ivorian champions and 2014 CAF Confederation Cup finalists who seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth.
Can you do a video about Sweden U-21 euro champions 2015?
You should do we’re the players from Mexico when they won the Olympics
5min in & I feel like these youth players got the short end of the stick because of the teams they play for or the teams they grew up in. Compared to Foden who developed properly at Man C, these players are forgotten about their development or forced to search elsewhere.
In just over one year the Canadian MNT has jumped up 40 spots in the FIFA world rankings from 73 to 33 and arguably should be higher. They are undefeated in qualifying and most of their best players are either just entering their prime years or haven’t started their prime yet. It might be early still but as a Canadian soccer fan I would love for you to take a look at them
Tomori is are best cb for England
A honestly thought cooke would be Amazing n get that big move would always sign him on fifa lol
Shame Lewis cook hasn’t made it. Looked a brilliant player. Those knee injuries are tough to overcome.
Yet he is still one of (if not) the best at Bournemouth
I followed Lookman and Onomah in Fulham, Lookman is really good, but Onomah is out of this depth there.
Onomah was great the season Fulham got promoted
Do A Video On What On Earth Is Going On Charlton Athletic?
Not a lot right now we are just not very good, a video about the shambles of the Matt Southall era that almost took us out of business in 2020 however, would be good, could be called Charlton; bread, Range Rovers and fraud
Tell me how AMN (Ainsley Maitland Niles) missed out from this video yet he played all the games at that tournament and was always a starter
South American youth teams seem a lot more consistent than English youth in appearing at the top levels for big clubs when adults...
Nice enjoyable video
One of these for Serbia u-20s from 2015? :O
If Chelsea want Tomori they can pay 90 mil to break the English record for the priciest CB in England, he is the best English CB in this moment :)
Biggest football club doesn’t play champions football
