14:55 Apparently, the clubs that qualified for the Intertoto cup weren't solely based on performance, but on UEFA directly inviting them. And in the year 2000 an unnamed Italian club pulled out of the competition at the last minute, and Bradford City's chairman at the time Geoffrey Richmond applied to fill that vacancy, and UEFA accepted and invited them to the competition.
As a Korean fan, I still can't believe that I got to see a Korean win the Golden Boot in the Prem. Even though he's been pretty crap at times this season, the final few months of the '21-'22 season was so fun (as was of course the '19-'20 season in the CL run)
You mentioned for the 93-94 segment at around (7:20) that United won it under SAF for the first time - that's not true, he was in charge for their first title win the year before - he'd been in charge 6 years before the Prem even existed!
Not sure if it was mentioned yet, but Bradford played in Europe in 2000 because the Intertoto cup was kind of invitation-based. It was a really weird competition, with multiple winners and lots of mid-tier teams from all over Europe without clear qualification rules. There were rumours that some Italian team opted quite late in the planning, and the Bradford board applied to replace them and were accepted.
“In following years, UEFA made it possible for nations to forfeit Intertoto places. as a huddersfield fan all my life, that 2018/19 season will never haunt me or bother me the slightest i never thought in my life or especially in my youth i'd see us go up to the premier league, ive been to every game most of my life, ive seen us get battered by tranmere rovers in league one. those 2 seasons will always be special to me just because of what we achieved barely spending anything. we were a team built around passion and our fans always showed no matter how hard things got or were for us. we turned over united at home, the chelsea 1-1 away draw, those moments will always mean a lot to me i honestly hope we do rise again eventually, but im so thankful it happened in my lifetime so early
Must be a lot of effort to put all that together. But I have to point out at 31:57 that's wrong. By that season it was United's 19th league title, which put them ahead of Liverpool's 18 at that time. Liverpool only got their 19th in 2020 and are still behind United's 20. You should do an extended version, break the years into 2 or 3 videos. Would be great to hear more about all the strange and amusing drama over the years - colourful characters like Vinnie Jones, Suarez and Balotelli deserve some mention for what they did to be on the headlines.

Thank you for making thie video. I didnt know so much about the history of the Premiere League before so this video revealed a lot of interesting things, some of which are so unbelievable that they make the things happening in the prem recently seem completely normal.
Palace, a team that snuck up out of nowhere in 2013, have been predicted to be relegated almost every year since, have now been back in the Prem for a decade, and never seriously looked like going down in that time.
As an American I never watched soccer since almost no one talked about it till one day a buddy of mine showed it to me. This was during the 14/15 season. Maybe a bit of trivia too like the teams that won 9-0 and players that have scored five goals but overall really enjoyable video!
Bradford City qualified for European football in the 1999-2000 season by winning the Intertoto Cup. The Intertoto Cup was a UEFA-sanctioned football competition that ran from 1961 to 2008, and was designed to provide extra matches for teams during the summer months. Bradford City entered the competition in the third round and progressed through the tournament, winning their group to advance to the final. They faced Zenit St. Petersburg in the final, winning the two-legged tie 4-2 on aggregate to secure their place in the UEFA Cup. As a result of their Intertoto Cup victory, Bradford City competed in the UEFA Cup for the first time in their history, reaching the second round before being knocked out by Leeds United.
15:03 they qualified because an unnamed Italian team (probably Hellas Verona since they did pull out of the intertoto cup but their place was given to Perugia so Idk) pulled out of the competition so uefa basically decided Bradford city to qualify for the intertoto cup because why not? lol

21:31 Liverpool actually finished 5th in 04/05 but because they won the CL the UEFA came up with a new rule saying that the holder would automatically qualify for next year's CL

They did get a spot. They entered in the 3rd qualifying round alongside Manchester United. Everton lost and were knocked out. Liverpool had to enter from the 1st qualifying round.
I'm pretty sure the Bradford City thing was either also a disciplinary record thing, or they were runners up in the league or fa cup to the team who won the league or whatever, those would be my guesses. Also, i loved, "aston villa were also there, but NEVER in the top 4" then immediately show a picture of the league table in 95/96 when they were 4th 😅
Great work, man. Well done! Subscribed
E: I'm further in the video, but basically what you said about Stoke making Europe and the cup rules being crazy. Yeah. That.
and having already covered villa being runners-up in the inaugural season
Knowing how this type of videos usually look like, I'm expecting a mix of old Vizeh and new Vizeh.
And I'm ready for it.
Really happy with it!
32:05 Amario Cozier-Duberry second from the left. Remember the name.
Been a fan for a couple years and the progression here is just immaculate. Love the vids bro, check it going cause im gonna keep coming back
54:10
His first season at Liverpool, he played for Chelsea for the first time in Premier league
What a massive video, thank you for your hard work. It's been a joy to watch.
United’s Away form in 10/11 is hilarious for title winners. 5 wins 10 draws 3 losses!
Fair play. Some graft gone into this. As a Bolton fan it's nothing but nostalgia thinking back to our glory days
As a Toon fan Alan Pardew as manager of the season still makes me laugh. Tbf he did a good job that year and the Europa League home games were a nice treat.
The sheer amount of time and effort thats gone into this! Well done!
Great video. It was so fun for me because i never watched any premier league, only now after star+ started to stream here in Brazil. And that Fergunson must have been an insane coach, i wish i could see him in his prime
In the video it says thar 93/94 season was the first season for Sir alex, wasnt he at man united since 1986?
Roberto Di Matteo has to be the biggest GIGACHAD ever in football. He barely wins anything, but he does take home the CL-Title for absolutely no reason.
39:20 ah yes my favourite momeont
can’t believe i’ve just watched my club dominate untill 2012/2013 but apart from that this video has so much effort put into it
Great video! You covered nearly everything but I noticed how u didn’t mention anything about Newcastle being bought out and might now become the new City
Vizeh: “ I am a Burnley fan “
Also Vizeh: Constantly shouting out porstmouth
Genuinely an entertaining video, I love it. Learnt a lot of history watching this
Not genuine
21:43 Everton didn’t actually qualify for the Champions League. Liverpool won it in 2005 whilst also finishing 5th in the league so Everton lost their place to Liverpool.
I think the audio might be delayed because of the black screen but good work on the video ignore the hate man your doing incredible love your videos
Amazing how Man Utd have crumbled under a level playing field of finance, goes to show theyve always been the villains of the premier league story and I hope they extended their 14 year losing period to at least 60 years
Vizeh, can you do this type of video more times? I loved! Please, make one telling the history of Brasileirão!
20:14- “right here we go here’s the year they never shut up about”
This must have taken AGES to make, really impressive
This video was really well made. Nice voice with cheeky comments made this video a banger, would love to see something like the entire history of the champions league
That was absolutely fantastic. I would love to see another video like it on another division possibly?
Top notch video m8!!! Can appreciate all the work it took to put this all together!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!🎉🎉
How different things could have been for Luton if they had managed to stay up in the 91/92 season. Could this be the year that Luton finally return to top flight after 31 long years. I hope so!
Bradford v Zenit (2000)
After an unnamed Italian team pulled out of the competition, Bradford chairman Geoffrey Richmond applied and the club were invited to join the competition by UEFA. They started out in July, overcoming Lithuanian side Atlantas before seeing off Dutch side RKC Waalwijk.
Thanks Google!
Don't worry about all the comments you are getting on twitter, haters gonna hate every time no matter what you do. Stay strong man.
great video, seasons 13/14, 15/16 are some of my favorite premier leagues seasons
PLEASE do this with the FA cup and European competitions, love these videos
Fantastically crafted video, so difficult to cover everything I think Wigan’s great escape in 11/12 deserves a mention where they beat Liverpool, Arsenal and United as well as Sunderland’s in 13/14 which included them beating Chelsea at the bridge and ended Mourinho’s unbeaten home record.
Also the whole pizzagate incident with United and Arsenal deserves a shout.
Balotelli’s why always me in the 6-1 thrashing
United beating Arsenal 8-2
See you in 1 hour Liam. Also I feel bad for you on Twitter but congratulate you on Mezzala designs. I've got my hands on the Harry Kane design mi amigo.
That’s amazing bro! Thank you❤️
54:11 It wasn’t Salahs first season, he was at Chelsea in 2014
Brilliant video Vizeh, I've watched it 20 times already!
That’s an impressive 2 minutes!
@@Vizeh great vid and 11:28 thats why scotlands the goated country
14:58 because they the intertoto cup was losing revenue and Bradford was nearly relegated so there is your answer
You’re actually getting cooked on Twitter lmao
Why’s he getting cooked lmao?
@@bluesEvanskro he tweeted about Poland and now Twitter being Twitter is taking the piss about it
”Cooked” bro people are just insulting him
it isnt being cooked its just gremlins insulting someone for shits and giggles
@@CrimsonDuo oh damn what did he say about poland lol
At 7:30 you mention 93/94 was "the first season for Alex Ferguson" which doesn't really make sense as he was there from 86 and won the league in 92/93?
