That fella in the maroon Dodge in downtown Romney exemplifies the small town ethic when he backed up so you could make your turn with the trailer. Sometimes, it is the small things that matter most. We need more people like that.
I live in London UK and you will very rarely see that kind of courtesy, however I spend a lot of time in the countryside and the people are friendlier and definitely more courteous.
Well said
I agree. Situational awareness and common sense.
I got a thumbs up from a trucker when I stopped about 100 feet short of a stop light when he was making a left turn in front of me the other day. If you can do small stuff like that to make things easier for others why not do it.
We get the same thing here in our small town upstate New York. Near albany
Mike. Im a retired officer. I did 31 years. You moving over like that is priceless. That officer, in my opinion, was out of line. You never know when a dog, even on a leash, darts out towards the road. There is no way i would have ever given someone a ticket for that. Have a great day.
I put in 18 years and I think good cops are humble and leave room for their own mistakes. It's a tough job that can be done with honor and integrity by imperfect people who know their weaknesses.
@1965ace well said. I was a FTO but there where times when I would say wow I didn't know that. You can learn something new almost every day.
@@obedcasillas3404 I would reflect on every interaction that left me thinking “this could have gone better “. It isn’t them vs us, it was me vs the standard of honor and integrity I wanted to live up to.
Mike, I had two similar incidents happen to me with law enforcement. First of all I'm 110 per cent behind the guys in blue, they have a miserable job sometimes. I was coming out of a small town in Ohio on a 2 lane when I saw a dog walking along the road so I give him a wide berth in case he ran out in the road, it was 35 mph zone. Within 30 seconds I was pulled over by a local police officer and asked what I was doing. He also said I was going a little to fast, I explained about the dog, he understood & gave me a warning about the speed. The 2nd incident was on a 4 lane divided highway, route 30 in Wayne County, there was a rough patch on the highway that I drove everyday, so I would ease over to the right, over the white line to miss the rough area & then pull back into the lane, I was in the right slow lane. About a mile up the highway I got pulled over by the State Patrol. He checked me for alcohol, he knew right away I wasn't drinking, I explained why I went over the white line, didn't seem to care. I told him I hadn't had a ticket in 20 years, he commented well maybe it will another 20 years. He gave me a ticket for "Marked Lane Violation". I asked a friend (retired State Highway Patrol) who said that the guy was really nit-picking on that violation. I was 45 at the time. I rarely drink, & definitely not when I'm driving. Any Officer can pull me over anytime to see if I've been drinking, that's fine, but don't give me a bogus violation that I bet half of law enforcement doesn't even know what "marked lane violation" is. 2 different scenarios, 1 handled with a warning, the other with a $77 fine. I remember both incidents, the warning made more of an impact, the $77 dollar fine, a very sour taste. I'm 68 now, 24 years ago was the last time pulled over, I guess I deserve a little
Leniency if I get pulled over. Sorry for the lengthy of my comment.😅
So glad you got to meet Erin and Josh they are another great family on YT.
Josh and Erin are one of our favorite channels. Nice you all got to meet up.
Really liked seeing the guy in the Dodge back up so you could make the turn. Says a lot about the people that live there.
Exactly
Here in Kentucky you can tell the people that were raised right. We wave at complete strangers when we pass on the roads. Its a country thing.
I thought this also. I live in philly so if you know about the drivers down here then we’ll you know.!!
@@wayawolf1967 It was that way when I moved to east of Atlanta from Cleveland, OH in '66. It was country back then. You knew who your neighbors were. Now it's urban sprawl with all the attendant downsides.
The Dodge was well over the Stop line to begin with..
Love Erin and Josh , a fav UA-cam famly , lovely people.
Yay, you met Josh & Erin. We've been following them from the beginning as well. Good people! 😊 Thanks for sharing!
Love Josh and Erin! Delightful folks!
When we lived in New Jersey and would make our summer Midwest trips to family we would stop by the same Bass Pro store just so our son could see the big fish tank (and maybe for me too). Stay safe.
I’m glad you got to meet Josh and Arin. Great people and I never miss a video. Just like you, they are true people and not afraid to work for what they want.
It not a sin to get help Mike. Enjoy your videos all the time. The stories you tell are a bonus.
Very cool that you got to meet up with Josh and Erin.
I hope Levi is happy with his new machine, thanks for the tour and good Sunday morning Mike.☕️🦌
I was super impressed with the tour you gave us at Romney Cycles !! I don't think I've ever seen so many vehicles (?) under one roof, EVER !! Thanks, Mike for sharing !!
I watched WWOG's video about the big fire there. Seeing the overwhelming support and help from every citizen that lives there really hit me. Seeing the guy back up for you is just a drop in the bucket for nice people there. Glad you met Josh and Erin. Too bad you don't drink coffee, their expressos are fantastic. Thanks for taking us along, this was a nice video.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for the Sunday morning laugh. I'm a former Truck Drive and I have 7 cousins, former and current police officers in PA. I can tell you some stories.
Good you got to meet Josh and Erin. I have been a subscriber of theirs for some time now, and it is great to know they are as nice and real as they are on UA-cam.. Small world, and the Romney Cycle warehouse has a great place, and that the guys dad watches your videos is really nice i think.. Really enjoyed the whole video Mike thanks :)
I am so glad you stopped in at the Café to visit with Josh & Erin. Your channel and theirs are two of my "can't miss" channels. I hope one or both of you got some 'footage' to share with us.
Glad that you met Josh and Erin - even better they’re “real people!!” Can’t wait to get to their cafe!
When you meet really nice people, it's like a boost to keep on going.
My son picked WVU from a list of colleges and it was the best decision he could make. From NH to WV and the whole family loved the area, you’re right Mike really great people.
Glad you got to meet Josh and Ahran. I am looking forward to meeting them at the grand opening. Frank
We like watching UA-cam channels like yours , wild and wonderful off grid, the life in pines, good and simple living, Cajun country and the list goes on and on. It's fun to watch people make their goals in life. Love UA-cam 😊
My two favorite UA-cam channels are Outdoors with the Morgan's and Wild Wonderful Off Grid !
I’m glad you talked about thinning the pines. That forest would pop so much if sunlight was able to get to the ground.
Love watching Josh & Erin on Wild Wonderful Off Grid.... their show and yours are my favorite UA-camr's!
Love it. Always room for more precious metal.
Can't just walk out of Bass Pro empty handed
Congratulations to levi on his new machine very nice👍🏻i love little towns like that and like you said great people in them little towns can't wait for more west Virginia video's have a blessed Sunday🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’ve been in Law Enforcement for 42 plus years. Like everyone else, we recruit from the human race and get good ones and not so good. A deteriorating conversation generally doesn’t end well, but the good news is that ticket wasn’t a moving violation and doesn’t count for points on your license. Enjoy the videos, stay safe!
I'm in southern Michigan and we haven't been getting very much rain, and I'm not really all that far from you. I'm surprised it's that big of a difference
Hi Mike. Nice little town Romney. You don't see a dealership under cover. Like Romney dealership. Here in the Northeast. There put together & set outside. Just a few machines inside. Thier " machine parts" are in shelter too. I know an Upstate New York motorcycle dealer & all the bikes are under shelter. That's all I've seen. As for Erin. Someone wrote that she suffered a stroke. 😐😑😔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 So young & so sad. 😔 My prayers to her. To Josh & Erin. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I understand about not work. I used not last for 24 hrs. I was always busy during my 7 yrs of small family farmer. Then my work shop & barn fire in July/2009. That changed everything. Then got involved w/ chickens & ducks. I slowly rebuilding my shop. Then moved January 1st, 2011. I was focused on small farming of beef cows, chickens, & firewood for next 7 yrs. Then total retirement in June/2018. Then my cellphone at December/2018. That helped my thoughts of " work." That's how I found you in spring/2020. I was already in a month of my Dr's orders of a house quarantine. ( 1 year, & 5 months in quarantine.) But. I watched your videos & said nothing.I believe. It will be 2 yrs ago. That I started texting to you. I still miss my work shop. The " cellphone" help with my working anxieties to a point. Well. Say Hi to Melissa, Eva, & Hunter. 😍😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌲🌧
Good Morning Morgan Family. Mike, I have some advice for you, no matter how nice the soap smells, don’t leave the bathroom smelling your fingers! Hehe
HAHA!😆😆😆😆
😂🤣😂 Sage advice.
😂😂😂😂
hahahaha....
Mike, at our age, life is all about the stories that we have created and are able to tell. I love hearing your stories. Thanks so much for sharing. Also, I wanted to thank you guys for being an inspiration for me to start my channel. I hit 1K last week.🙌🙏
Good morning Morgans and good people. We are back in the Villages Florida for most of the summer. Currently 70° with a high of 78°. It was a very cool 52° at 6 am.
Love The Villages 👍🏼🇺🇸❤️
I have one of their candles, love it. It's grapefruit, sweet orange, and lemon peel. Love watching both of your videos.
In aromatherapy, citrus scents are used to improve productivity! Helps get you moving.
Wow, Mike... you've got to appreciate a Barney flexing his badge. For what they make it's worth their hassles just to have them around when you really need them.
I'm grateful for law enforcement, in spite of my youth experiences. At 16 years of age I rode a Honda 150 everywhere, and one day, late for my summer job, I walked it across the street against a red light and was promptly issued a red light violation. Another day I was doing 50 on a lonely country road placarded for 35 mph and, again, I was ticketed for speeding. Two weeks later the speed limit was raised to 50 mph on that same stretch of road. Sometimes you just can't win....
Love how you guys have a you tube community. Good to see people get along with the same goals .
Two of my favorite UA-cam families meet up ... what a great surprise.
I never miss a video on your channels if I can help it.
You guys provide a haven of sanity in a world that sometimes appears to have lost its way.
In particular, I enjoy "meeting" the oft times camera shy, level headed, hard working people you introduce us to that form the backbone of this great country.
Once again, thanks.
P.S.
Ever since you bought the property in West Virginia, I've wondered if you knew of Josh and Erin's "Wonderful" channel and if you would meet them.
Question answered.
Thank you for the videos, I appreciate the ideas and content. Good simple common sense.
Makes sense that good UA-camrs would know one another. Started watching WWOG first, then stumbled onto your channel. Planning a road-trip to the coffee shop once they're open.
nice people Josh and Erin i watch their channel!....nice dealership!
In your previous video you quoted, "Aril showers bring May flowers". When you said that, I remembered something I read in Mad magazine a long time ago. It was a cartoon with a husband and wife. She was singing the April showers asong's first line, then the husband chimed in with, " They bring the plumbers for floods in May." In the background you see a flooded basement.
Good cop story. I'll probably jinx myself, but 47+ years driving and never a ticket, even back in the Roadrunner days. Unfortunate you can't move to WV, from my vantage point PA is circling the drain, plus with a city named Morgantown they'd probably elect you mayor. Good vid.
I started watching them on your recommendation some time back. I agree Josh and Erin and family are a testament to family living and working together. I enjoy their channel also. I recommend them as I would your channel. Both show family working together and the commitment to values I agree with. Keep safe and keep the videos coming. I enjoy watching and learning new things.
Loved The Ride Along to pick up the new side by side nice little trip! Thank You!! Mike
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
I bought my 4 wheeler from Romney Cycle many years ago. I went to my local dealership and asked to get one and they laughed at me saying they were impossible to get at the time. I called Romney Cycle and they asked how many I wanted, they have 6 or 7 of them sitting there on the lot when I got there! Super efficient and friendly folks there!
Morning Morgan's. Nice to see there are still alot of good people in this country. Love the small towns, and back roads. That whole area has alot of great motorcycling roads. Have a great day everyone. Stop and smell the soap. Lol
I experience the same feeling when we go to the cabin, you leave the day to day at home and clear your mind for a while.
So glad you got to meet Josh and Erin in WV. They are really nice people. We’ve been a subscriber to their channel for years and enjoy it. We love your channel as well. We’ve been subscribed to your channels for years too. Love your property in WV. So beautiful down there. Hey we really loved that place with all the side by sides. I’m sure Levi will love it. Nice! Cool video. 👍❤️
Love that you went to see Josh and Erin from wild wonderful off-grid we love there channel
Appears the soap is "soldout!" Looks like a fine family and business. Ordered a candle. Thanks, Mike and Melissa!

Dreams come True!
Hi Mike,
Beautiful drive, hills and valleys, open land and nice people still left in this world we live in.
The great things in life we still can enjoy. There is hope.
Be well
Mr Morgan could you please leave a link to get to the soap page?
Want to congratulate you on another fantastic video. Driving and seeing the country is one of my favorites. Beautiful scenery.
Also the fellow in the maroon truck was backing up to give you room to swing, you just don't hardly see those gestures anymore. I thought that was absolutely fantastic.
Here you go, I think this is it wildrootscafeco.com/collections/soap
I have had a mule pro fxt ranch edition for 5 years. absolutely love it. no issues at all.
Levi will love the Mule. We bought the same model in 2015 and run it every day. It’s great for hauling grandkids and 4 large Labrador dogs and working on the farm.
West Virginia has some of the best motorcycle roads around and scenery in the U.S. Time for me to take a trip.
Cucumber Tree - Growing up in northwest Ind our old home had a full grown cucumber tree. Very rare in northern Indiana it produced a very small non edible fruit (lack of better word) and large leaves. Every fall my brother and I raked its fallen leaves. Long after our family moved it ultimately sustained wind damage and was removed.
“A lot of things up in the air countrywide “. That’s has to be the nicest way possible to describe what is going on! 😂
If you thin out the trees in WV I would like to see you plant American chestnut. I think North Carolina State developed a disease resistant tree for your area. Have fun and stay safe!
Hey there Mike and Melissa ! We got our Kawasaki mule back in 2009 or 10...we love it never had any issues ! I even plowed into a tree coming up from a swamp going up hill and slid ...lolol and its push bar was bent but was easily pulled back into place ! We can even pull some of our tractor equipment behind it for smaller food plot jobs ! Love it ! We are sure Levi will love his too ! It's a tuff little machine ! God bless y'all as always from your friends in Michigan ! 😊
Good morning Morgans and friends.
Rain in the forecast this evening here. We've had a beautiful weather weekend finally. Morels 🍄 are popping already.
Mike its hard to prioritize and do it all yourself. I have to get mowers ready for the season, parts of the yard are getting deep and looking shaggy.
How about going live soon lol?
Have a day and we'll see you down the road.....thanks
Thanks Mike.
Plate sticker is still required in Wisconsin, they change the Color every year too.
Beautiful piece of property you have in WV, I live in WV
Hey Mike, I started watching WildWonderful OffGrid when they were just starting to build their "A"frame house. I also was a subscriber to their channel when Erin gave birth to Ellie. Your absolutely right.about them being a hard working couple. Although I have never met them personnaly, the way Josh& Erin& their children interact with one another one can tell that they are wonderful people. So glad you were able to meet them in person. Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy,
Frank Scherping❤😊s
The sope smells so good because it reminds you of Erin. She's a looker. NOW I got your attention, I told you before, but to me, the debarker groove is low to the track of the blade. They should be centered.
Thats my favorite round. It's probably a good thing I do not live close to Cabela's or Pro Bass.
Thats an impressive toy store. I would love to have one of the Can Ams. I hope Levi and his family enjoy the mule.
This video is sooooo much clearer than prior ones! I always enjoy your work.
Thanks, Tony
Spent Easter weekend in your neck of the woods, then took the backroads home and went through Romney. Very nice little town in a very pretty part of the country.
Also, ride the train in Romney. A great trip.
Josh and Erin are fantastic! I am looking forward to the travel from Upstate New York to the Wild Roots Cafe!🇺🇸🙏
Showing the precious metals you purchased and then entering into the police officer with the chip on his shoulder story was priceless. I really do not think they will be on our side when the SHTF. We may find out tomorrow. You may be luckier than you know that the small tree saved your pond. You may be eating fish, so I would fill and track/compact the dam back in very soon...
Love that story Mike my wife makes homemade soap all completely natural and it smells fantastic my favorites are peppermint and licorice
Love Erin & Josh and the Morgan's great to see you together.
Good Morning Morgan Family 🌞- Have a Wonderful and Blessed Sunday 🤠. We’re having 4 days of light snow out here in Montana.
Love the red ram in Romney great job to that guy !
Mike To empty the icb with wood make an adapter that the forkes turn upside down. nail the container to the palite
I watch their channel also. I enjoy both.
Kawasaki is my favorite. I’ve worked in parts and sales for 10 yrs and we’ve had several Honda, Polaris, Yamaha, etc. I have the same jet skis since 1990. Runs like a top. I am sure each to their own. Have got where I’m impressed with the Bobcat side btw side.
Great Video this Mornin, Good interview & B-roll.
Levi will enjoy that side by side. Thanks for all you do.
Life of a UA-camr is a Busy Life.
You make my day with the Bass Pro stop. I’m the same way can’t go by one without stopping.Love the channel…
I've heard the "Buy Me" ammo voice quite often and its hard to ignore :)
Precious metals are good!
Morning Mike. Another great morning on this side of Pa sitting by the ol’ Hearthstone to watch a Morgan video. Looking forward to seeing the Mule. Have a blessed Sunday from Jeff in NePa.
My neighbor just picked up a mule. Nice little toy. Quite a nice work horse. Good for Levi.
Giday Mike from Ottawa Canada. Watch both your channels and have to agree wild and wonderful and your are two of my favorite channels. They are such a awsome family. It's rare to see a couple that have so much fun working together...👍☕️🍻🇨🇦
Good morning from beautiful BC y'all ! Have a amazing Sunday and enjoy the day.
My dad bought a 60 acre lot in Randolph Vermont. There was a 7 acre section of WPA planted red pines. They had been planted during the depression with the idea they would make highway guardvrails from them.
I went through with a hand/arm powered pole saw and necked them up to 18 feet.
They needed, like yours, to be thinned.
Amazing a red pine can live 400/years.
@@beckyumphrey2626
I have never encountered a red pine from before World War One.
That is not to say they don't exist.
Most of the planted red pines were planted during the Rosivelt administration.
Went to college at Salem West VA, spent alot of time down there. Great people. First wife was a West Virginia.
Levy will love his Mule. I bought one a couple years back for the farm. Six seater is great for families. My grand kids always want to go for a Mule when they come to the farm. Of course the older grand kids want to drive but I point to the signage on the Mule. No one under 16 years old can drive. These machines are awesome but remember you are driving a small car. I explain this to my grandkids how you could really get hurt fast. Enjoy the Mule, farmer rod.
Good morning Mike, Man Glitter and Good Smelling Soap Malissa must be Smiling. 😀👍👍👍
Thank you for the video. It is very nice to have a variety of subjects.
Glad you got to meet Josh and Erin, they have to be the hardest working couple I've ever seen. Can't wait till they open the cafe.
😂 Mike, I love the story, sniffing the soap and the state trooper looking at you😂
Love to have y’all in WV Mike!
We have been to Romney many times going to Keyser. Both towns may be small but they are very friendly.
Crazy what happened to Erin. Good show. 👍
Good Sunday morning…always enjoy the WV road trips….mule train home.
Mike, Levi being your favorite employee, he should have gone on the road trip with you to pick up his new machine. All the busy work that he needed to do by staying behind, he could have done that another day. How bout it. Quality time with your son = PRICELESS!
Maybe he was looking after his family Also Hunter likes to go out each day Lots of reasons we don’t know about 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Mike won't let him drive.
