- See how 3 watts per element holds to amplify these huge horn speakers. A completely new way of thinking about an amplifier means that Avantgarde has created an active speaker that plays better than the passive one, regardless of which amplifier you use.
Heard them yesterday and it is the most live-like speaker I have ever heard. Congrats to the designer(s)🙏
What a great guy being interviewed. Would love to share a beer with him - and some good music... Greetings to you and yours.
Interesting guy, great explanation for these subjects
In the early 80‘s I hear the Acapella Audio Arts Triolon with Ion-Tweeter and the big Center-Horn-Bass. Not that bad. And now the G3… not bad, not bad. But expensiv. The G3 and the Triolon in the past. Made in Germany, both
muito lindo e ótima proposta
Horn may be good for brass but for country or folk music i don’t think it would be my first choice of speaker upset
Why do you want your speaker upset? I dont think it has feelings😂
B&O uses current amplifiers in many of their active speakers.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha 😂
Heard them yet again yesterday. Incomparable to any other speaker in a positive way. I would ditch my amp without any hesitation if I could cough up the price of admission. However, most audiophiles are addicted to change and will probably not make the jump. Their loss.
I know… add a subwoofer 🙂
Hi i come from Vietnam I would like to know That how much for one pairs of speakers thanks
About 125 000 Euro, and you have buy the subwoofers also
@@Stereopluss thanks
3 watts is not enough for peaks.
You will be suprised when you listen to them. They are one of the most dynamic speakers i’ve heard. But They also has support of a subwoofer with a lot of watts
@@Stereopluss I started out copying the Trio when I wanted to build a speaker for myself and I believe you. I believe they can sound really good yes. Unfinished but working on it. ua-cam.com/users/shortsGO4AaKKjiKY?feature=share My point is that the midbass horn should have more than 3 watts to handle peaks in music properly.
If they can get rid of that silly bass speaker then they have hope in the market of course just my opinion.
That’s easy : since one would be well-off enough to afford such a work of art - he / she could simply forego the ‘ SpaceHorn,’ and get the new ( audiophile ) Wilson Audio ‘ Submerge ’ Subwoofer ( $30k ; that delves way down to an [ incredible ] 5 Hz ) ; which is far more inconspicuous.
