You need to find the hardware as per ur dependencies list.Maybe ur list doesnt contain multimedia class scheduler
I have been in computers since they started, hell I used to run a BBS (For those of you old enough to remember those) I had this problem, spent about two hours trying to correct it. downloaded drivers, new audio programs all of that. I searched the webby and found your vid. Fixed my problem quick fast and in a hurry. Thank you sir! Thank you very much. Good wishes to you and yours. I was at my wits end. again thank you...
How to fix in windows 10..?Please help me.
install it, helped for me
Sometimes log on status is set to “This account” with password. So, when we try to start windows audio, it says error and access denied.
In this case go to windows audio and then tap to log on option. Then set the bullet point to Local System account. Then start the windows audio. It will work.
@@thechesswiki5480 bro thanks so much
Oh my gosh! after 6 minutes and 58 seconds of playing the video, reading the captions/instructions of your video (excluding the 'pause & play'), I was able to hear your voice! Thanks so much!
Uninstalling the Sound Drivers & Re-Start Worked for me .. Thank You

You need to find the hardware as per ur dependencies list.Maybe ur list doesnt contain multimedia class scheduler
go Device Manager.... in sound driver uninstall all device and will be fix automatically
Thank you so much bro. The multimedia class scheduler was the culprit in my case. Running Windows 8 64bit. And only when the audio was enabled , I could realize why you'd given such clear subtitles. So thoughtful of you . If we ever meet , the drink is on me !
what if it says for mine , Error 1059 for the last one , what do i do?
I installed Razer Synapse on my Lenovo Y700 for my Kraken tournament edition headphones, and it killed my windows audio and all that jazz. So I followed your video as closely as I could(aside from the multimedia class scheduler, which I didn't see in windows 10). I messed with all my services, got most started or running(including windows audio builder), but my Windows Audio was stuck on "stopping" and wouldn't let me do anything to it. I combed through more possibly related drivers, and still couldn't figure it out. As a last-ditch effort, I force-shutdown the whole computer after closing all the programs. I logged in and my little speaker symbol was back!
Thank you very much for making this video, which is still extremely helpful and awesome even after about 7 years.
6 more days and it would have been the anniversary.
Hey, Its Says Windows could not start the Multimedia Class Scheduler service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
What will i do? Please HELP ME. Reply me asap please!.
go Device Manager.... in sound driver uninstall all device and will be fix automatically
I was freaking out when I couldn't hear anything on the computer, came across your video and VOILA!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to put up this video, it was extremely helpful.
Help me !
finally my all services are working .. but when i want to start audio service .. the start is failing and it is saying :
THE ENDPOINT IS A DUPLICATE !
narti gashi Run a Google search for:"Windows 8/8.1 No Audio - “Endpoint is a duplicate” error message. (Part 1/2"
i fixed ... it was AVG Antivirus i think ...
narti gashi i seartched on the internet about the AVG Antivirus but it didn't even detect it and I can't fix the duplicate problem... I deleted AVG btw
narti gashi As in AVG caused the problem or fixed it?
Elys Orphan oh, I just uninstalled my AVG too and I realized that it's the cause of most of the system issues I have.
Beautiful! After a day of endless googling did I find your video. I thought my HP Pavilion needed a driver update, but that wasn't the case - your services.msc fix, with starting up dependencies fixed everything. Ahh, now I can listen to music again. THANK YOU!
my hero... I keep getting red x on wifi and have to keep restarting to work since windows 10. please help
After trying everything on multiple youtube videos, the internet then finding your video i found out that I didn't have the Multimedia Class Scheduler file anymore since they updated Windows 10! The Windows Audio End Point Builders services wasn't running because it was missing the file. Then I found a Microsoft Windows Blog and got a download for the MCS file. Bingo! It now works. I have since sent this to my brother because his IT guy at his company cannot figure it out. LOL Thanks!!!
Can u possibly put the link for me cause I cant find it
@@amandacastillo8125 Hi Amanda I will have to find it first and Ill get back to you.
@@angelahaas43 thank you so much!

On mine, it says that all audio drivers are up to date and the sound still doesn't work.
I have like front and rear jacks, I believe that front doesn't work. Halp? D:
Did you try uninstalling the drivers? (They reinstall upon reboot of your computer) That worked for me ;)
Bjørn Henrik Harr YES! IT WORKED! :D I unninstalled all the audio drivers then rebooted and it fixed itself, I think there was some kind of device that was overtaking the main one. Thanks :)
My pleasure, MisterZaow :D
Robin Lespagnard Me dit pas que t'as eu le même soucis que moi surtout!! je cherche depuis une heure, à tous les coup c'est le crack qui foire mec

Perfect, step number 2 worked on my Dell laptop computer with windows Vista. Previously this computer had no sound for about 4 years. It's now 2019 and it's a spare computer but it still gets used and I have it hooked into my stereo system so it's great to play my thousands of songs out loud again. Thank you for this great video on how to fix :)
OMG I AM SO STUPID I DID NOT HEAR ANY VOICE CUZ EARPHONES WERE CONNECTED
***** Yes ur right
I watched other videos about this but they weren't as easy to understand. The second fix worked for me! Thanks soooooo much!
I FUCKING LOVE YOU NO HOMO THANKS A MIILLION :D
This worked wonders, did the uninstall and it all came back. The "Geek" said we had to get a whole new motherboard for the sound card (translate, buy a new laptop) but it's all good! Thanks, you made my day!!
Mr. Frankie, thanks a million. I have a bunch of Sys Admin people around that couldn't even (or didn't want to) figure it out. Cheers to you! Also, yes I watched it without sound....your visual narration was perfect.
Thank You Frankieseshy! After almost a month of no sound, it WORKS! I was able to follow you easily with your step by step instructions on screen since the sound wasn't working. After completing all the steps it still wasn't working BUT I noticed the :Log On As" was different on your screen than mine. I changed mine to the same as yours and TA DA! I have sound. Again THANK YOU ! Funny too now I hear your voice walking thru the steps and seems strange, lol.
Don't know how to thank you brother. You are a real legend. The second fix worked for me.
Thanks heaps. All the best
Thanks. The second fix was exactly the problem. I recently had my computer "cleaned" and they must have disabled that service when they cleaned the startup services. Great video, especially using the visuals. I never could have figured this one out myself. Thanks again for the quick fix.
thx man, thats brilliant!! now i can hear your voice. it start like normally. Thank you so much !!
Just spent hours on this......and your solution was the only working solution. Thanks!
Cool, got it working. Thank you so much for the video, and having the presence of mind for uploading one with subtitles. Kudos!
FRANKIE you are amazing and have solved my problem and thank you so much. Around 6:30 into this video your voice was all of a sudden audible and I was so happy haha. Thanks :)
Wow, best comment of all time, thank you very much Jadey C!
Haha I'm honoured to have the title
Finally, a video that teaches you how to fix audio that doesn't ironically require listening.
Thank you SO MUCH! I've been trying to fix this for over a week, searching all over the web for an answer... Tried all of the other steps before, restored driver, updated, disabled, uninstalled, reinstalled... none of those things worked. It was the Start, Services.msc and checking and restarting ALL of the dependency services that was needed. And I had tried this before but missed one of the. When I restarted ALL of them, including Windows Audio Service, everything works beautifully now. AGAIN, THANK YOU!
What fixed yours fixed mine also, the dependencies, turned them on and like magic I have sound again.
Thanks so much, don't have to make that call to support and be put on hold!!!!
Thanks a lot, I disabled RCP thinking it had no side effects, this video made me realize I forgot to check dependencies and my audio relies on it. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks a lot... I updated the audio driver and restarted the laptop and it started working.. yay!!! . Awesome video... Really really helpful...
Fantastic help - thank you! We had to actually restart the Dependent services, the services that Windows Audio depends to run. All fixed now!!!
Thanks! You really saved me! I restarted the Windows Audio service like at 6:06 and it worked!
Just to let others know... I also had to "Start" the "Power" service. Without the "Power" service, it still was giving errors. If video doesn't fully help, try starting the power service, then start the "windows audio endpoint builder," then start the "windows audio." -Hope this helps :)
Thank you so much. These are the videos youtube needs. Not memes
Thank you SOOO MUCH!...it's really nice to finally see a person that has things typed out already and not having to watch some punk kid making typing mistakes during the video...then, only to end in the fact he/she didn't know what they were talking about to begin with! Thanks again! YOU ROCK!
Thank you so much!
I remembered disabling the multimedia class schedule to use less ram and stuff thinking it was something wasteful! Learned my lesson thanks!!!!
Thank you so much man. I tried everything. Even checked my bios and contacted microsoft and called dell too, nobody had anything on it. I was about to waste money on getting a new laptop but your solution was spot on. I CAN HEAR!!! Lol.
THANK YOU SOOO!i thought the msconfig thing services was broken because I restarted my computer and it wouldn't change until I came to u.u earned a sub
So awesome! Glad I could help!
+Frankieseshy hi i wanna say thnk u so much i'm really happy i thought tht the sound card is broken 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thank you sooooo much! My daughter did something to her laptop and the sound and internet stopped working. But now with your help at least she has sound!. Thanks
Sometimes log on status is set to “This account” with password. So, when we try to start windows audio, it says error and access denied.
In this case go to windows audio and then tap to log on option. Then set the bullet point to Local System account. Then start the windows audio. It will work.
But this only removes cross.
Thank you men the last part works! you're a blessing!
Fantastic advice, a great solution to a frustrating and potentially costly problem. Thank you!
I've tried others and yours was the only one that WORK!
Keep up the GOOD work!!!
Thanks!!! I have been looking forever to get my laptops audio to be fixed and your solution worked. Thanks a bunch!
A great and simple guide, thanks for this (additional thanks for the text)! I had this exact issue after tweaking my graphics setting for Doom 3. An additional problem is that I got "error 1722 the rpc server is unavailable" when trying to start the Audio Endpoint Builder. Apparently there is a hidden dependency which means you have to start the "Power" service as well. I did this and it all worked good as new!!!
Thank you so much, you have no idea how stressed out i was over this, you have my gratitude.
Thank you so much! been going through everything I could find audio related but the services program fixed everything, your a legend!
For everyone's that didn't work, I have a fix for you!
Check that your "log on as" for the Windows Audio Device in Services.msc are "Local Service". Multimedia Class Scheduler should be set as Local Service too, as for Remote Procedure Call (RPC), it will be set as Network Service.
To set Windows Audio Service to Local Service:
Properties>Log On> check This Account, type "Local Service" and make a password, then start the service!
Make sure everyone sees this!
Thanks man it worked!! Had great trouble with this audio service not running... great video, keep up the good work!!
since this is old it actually still works nice job.
Thank you so much for this! It worked! This is one of the reasons I love the internet; it enables for people who want to inform, help and share informationen to reach those in need 😊
THANK YOU so so so much man I have been going like 18 weeks without audio and you helped me fix it thank you once again
This worked for me perfectly i was working one day and i restarted my pc and i found that my speakers had this problem for a strange reason your fix worked all the services you mentioned had been disabled not by me but on there own.
yo this worked for me, it was one of the dependencies. thank you so much. i was sweating bullets. youre a lifesaver
Thank you sooooooo much i have watched loads of videos on this but none worked until now :P Thank you :)
Boom! "Multimedia Class Scheduler" within "services" was disabled! I changed it to automatic and started the service. It works! UA-cam scores again! Thanks for the video!

Thanks. That worked. Services was the issue. had already tried the driver but it was the services.
Not sure how they got disabled. Cheers, Much appreciated.
Thank you so much, I thought my computer was going to be deaf forever.
Hi Frankieseshy, thank you so much for your video! It totally fixed my audio problem!
It really worked for my Desktop....I really Appreciate your Tutorial....Cheers Buddy
you Rock!!!!! Thanks so much for this video. Fix# 2 Worked like a charm
People with problems with the mesage saying" Error program not available on local computer". The solution to this is to start up the "Power" service in the section. Than once you have started it than you may now start up the Audio End point.
Great video! Solved my problem so I can listen to some Van Halen that's been stuck in my head
Worked for me perfect! Now I hear You. Thanks buddy!
Great, thanks (thanks also for the smart subtitles; very useful!)
Thank you second option worked for me.
Very clear instructions
