I have been his fan longer than anything I have done in my life, in 1984-85 I was in Berlin, everybody I knew talked about him. Berlin was an unique place, there were lots of cultural tribes living there, everything was subsided, there were squats everywhere. I was 18 gap year. I was super fan, near groupie. Years later he went in Sao Paulo, he met Viviane, my friends and I were so jealous I went to live in London, I heard he was living in Sao Paulo and Berlin After the Wall came down, Berlin we knew stopped to exist. He came to live in lo London, Maida Vale near my home. I moved to North Kensington, he was my neighbour! Vivi called. I always tried to be normal next to him. But I can't, he is a genius, in 1000 years young people in the future will listen his songs, read his books, watch everything he appears. There will be people specialised on him as subject. I don't think even The Beatles or Dylan will have same importance, he is a modern day Shakespeare, Dickens, Alan Põe. Every word will be studied. I knew the moment I heard him he was special unique I met Greatness
