- The creality 1.7.0 firmware does not have an option to set probe offsets for the Micro swiss direct drive setup. The only solution was to upgrade the firmware. Although there is one from Tiny machines, I used firmware compiled by Nic Wilson from his fb page.
Just in case you're not able to find it. I've uploaded a copy on Github

hello just wondering about the cr10s pro v2 but yesterday I had finished my printing and but on next day when I turning it on the printer my my creality screen staying on like its frozen any idea how too fixing that thanks
@@Explore531 Sd card can get corrupted. Take it out and boot without the sd card. Refomatted my sd card a few times.

Hello, recently my Cr10S Pro V2 got stuck on the load screen and while looking for a solution I found this video, I followed the instructions and did the tiny machines upgrade. It did flash the screen and it fully loaded. However, now my touch screen is unresponsive. Oddly it would work some time perfectly, then I would have to hold my finger for a few moments then it it would respond and then more time than not it would not respond at all. I then found the factory flash setting on the Creality website and restored it to the original. It did come on but responded the same so I then went back to the tiny machines files but still not responsive. Could this actually be a touch screen problem or do I not have the right flash files? Or do you think this option would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Try Nic Wilson's old firmware. Link in the comments. I have no issues with his fw.

This is interesting, i have one of that just wont connect to the pc.... i have 2 other that seem to connect fine. I wonder if updating the screen firmware first might help with connecting.

What does the Validate Mesh button do in the 5 point grid auxiliary level screen?
Will this firmware make it so I can color swap from Cura slicer settings?
@@132bassmaster I haven't done color swaps yet. You should be able to do manual color swaps as programmed from the slicer(pause at height perhaps?).
@@webslinger2011 doesn’t work with stock firmware. It won’t allow it, also my octoprint won’t work. Tells me to update firmware
@@132bassmaster Creality 1.7.0 sucks. Couldn't make changes on the settings. That's why I did an upgrade. Got a lot more options with Nic's fw.
@@132bassmaster Others went to klipper. But I've got corexy machines so I don't have a need to further upgrade this one.

After flashing with this firmware my auto level option won't turn on. It only stays on off. Please help!
Did you flash both touchscreen and the mainboard? Try flashing again.
Just got an "Unrepaired" cr10s pro v2 and have been very frustrated with the lack of available tuning from the bog stander ui - having to make every adjustment via gcode commands using octoprint is a real pain!! this firmware upgrade has transformed that usability in the space of 30 mins great job by you and Nic Wilson - many thanks
Credit goes to Nic. Only made a video for it. There are newer versions on his fb site that use the old 12864 display(No touch screen support). This one has been deprecated unfortunately.

You'll need to replace the inductive sensor with a bl touch or cr touch and use the Zmax endstop(+Z).

Dude... I've been fighting with firmware for a few weeks with my cr10s pro v2. I installed the MS DD and have had various problems building firmware. You've really helped me out here by putting this on github. I'm so grateful. Thank you.
Thank Nic. Too bad he no longer supports the stock touchscreen display.
Why are u using clips?on mat isn't magnetic
Figured I would need it if I try using a different bed surface such as a G10.
my machine keeps doing that startup sound every now and then after the firmware update... really annoying. thinking of removing the speaker because of it.
I could set it OFF using volume conntrol.
@@webslinger2011 it reset every restart, i just unplugged the speaker and installed my own via octoprint.

I commented on your temperature controller video. Im looking for a tutorial on how to make a single channel relay module...... And is there any way we can use the lcd display without that thingy that converts all the pins into 4 pins? And can you please reverse the code so the the relay turns on when the temperature is lower than set??? And i really appreciate your work bro. Keep it up.
It is possible. But it will need some changes on the code. You can search "how to connect 1602 lcd to arduino."

When using XLoader I get upload failed. The problem might be that XLoader doesnt detect the Mega(ATMEGA2560) devide at all, it just says ArdiunoMega, the dropdown menu only shows 2 options: CC01 & CR03. Any idea how to fix this problem?
Using windows? Have you installed the CH340G driver?
You could try loading the hex file on the sd card then boot from it. Remember to delete the lcd firmware first.

@webslinger2011 I used the Prusa Slicer & it worked. Confused on what I should do next? I'm so new to this . Do I auto level the bed?
why don't use auto-leveling?
In case you haven't noticed, I did use auto-leveling and saved the mesh values after flashing to the new firmware. I just recalled it using M420 S1 instead of G29 on my start gcode. Since I will be using the same flex bed everytime.

@@arty158 If you have no need for auto-resume. Options such as flow adjustment during print, real time x,y,z coordinates on display, EEPROM reset, PID bed and hotend tuning, Esteps adjustment for the extruder and probe offset. But more options are available if you get nic wilson’s 12864 version. This is limited due to the resources for using the touchscreen.

@@arty158 I try to dry the filament for an hour at least. If still some stringing, I'd increase retraction (below 2mm) and slow retraction speed to about 25~30mm/s.
i did this and now some of the touch buttons dont do anything
Which firmware did you install? Nic’s or Tiny Machines?
@@webslinger2011 tiny machines i think. im new to this and unsure what im doing. is there a reset to factory settings option? i don t think ive done any of this correctly
@@Electronidus I reset EEPROM after loading Nic's firmware. I think you should do the same. This resets the printer settings.
@@webslinger2011 that option is no longer there. i dont have a tools button to get to that feature anymore. its just a language button. i attempted an lcd screen update but i think i messed that up too
