Well the SX125 is by far the best out there for sure. The only thing I would change is that fuel tank color. That’s going to turn yellow and look like hell but nothing a little paint can’t fix
I’ve had a 2018 YZ250 for the last few years and just got on a 2022 TC250 and the air forks are amazing they feel even better than my Yamaha. I don’t know how anyone can not like them
Debating getting one of these sx125s as a leftover or jump to the new chassis 25 sx125/150. Took me awhile to get my 350 dialed in suspension wise to fight rigidity
The 2023 xc tank doesn’t make an 1.5hr hare scramble with a 120lb rider here in south jersey consisting of tight technical wooded trail, sand whooped trails, sandy gravel pits, and fast flowing grass track.
@@mxgryan I stopped him about an hour in and put probably 3/4gal in. If I didn’t pit him, I think he would have made it but it would have been real close. I think his race time was like 1:45-1:50. That race is maybe 100’ above sea level, think that’s why? I mean you are at a higher elevation so maybe the changes in the efi gets better mileage? Terrain also could be a factor? Our last couple races have been in pa at higher elevations and on slower rocky trails and he’s using a little more than half of the 3.2 acerbis big tank we put on it.
I have a 22 model and it’s my favorite bike I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned lots! 40 hp and weighing under 200 pounds it’s a absolute beast.I ride track and trails and can ride with anyone on any size bike. They need to bring it back!
@@mxgryangas gas should use there older gen 2 stroke engines since there better lmoa. Faster, cheaper, lighter. Efi on 2 strokes is worse than poeple think. Prove me wrong
Thanks for doing this video. Very helpful. Lots of misinformation on transmissions out there it seems.

Hello, great comparison. Looking to pick up a leftover '24 xc...do you know if the mapping and engine tuning are the same between the two???

Interesting. I see them making 2.5 hour races down here on those tanks

Close ratio on both?
Are they going to make a 150SX again? I hope so. One of the best play bikes.
Not that I'm aware of

From my understanding the 2023 XC to the 2024 XC they changed the front forks from air to spring ?
Everything else is the same ?
Yes
