Beautiful trees. Are there any major issues ordering Japanese maples and planting into mid to late summer?

In a recent podcast they said there really is no bad time to order and plant. The main thing to worry about would be hot afternoon sun. Some trees can handle it but in general it’s a good rule to follow to give them some late afternoon shade. Especially when they’re starting out.

Daddy's Girl will make a very awesome bonsai! Can't wait to see it become available. The color of Marmalade is stunning, looked to me like peaches my mom used to can. (Maybe "Canned Peaches" might be a good name for a cultivar with that color, some day...)
