Loved the comparisons here and glad to here how much you enjoy the mouse considering my es is on the way! Great to see they have the option to go either way for those who like the lighter weight and simpler design. One thing I wanted to note is that I'm sure the implementation of the sensor is excellent on the eS as well as what looked like some of the best click latency scores out there based on one of Pulsars tweets (I think i saw 0.4ms). Most likely a nil point for most people and perhaps wouldn't have much effect for the majority of in game performance but it certainly lives up to its competition ready name for those who want to know they have the ultimate performing hardware on paper.
yeah that kinda stuff is useless marketing to many. I absolutely love the es, but finding it hard to justify the extra 30$. I''m still struggling, lol but I tend to gravitate towards the regular v3
Thanks for the video! Already ordered V3 eS version yesterday and this video made me want to try regular V3 to decide which one fits me more, now i have to wait for the next month because no money atm 😅
I fucking love my ES. I finally found a mouse my hand was meant for. Edit: Now that I'm off work I can add to this. Fit, Finish, Form, Weight is all perfect. Durability is perfect. There is nothing defective with this mouse, it's all still functional. I've had this mouse running on 4k polling rate since I got it 7 days ago and I still have not charged it. At time of typing this I'm at 55% battery life. This lasts longer than my thorn at 1k polling, and it lasts longer than my GPX. A+ to Pulsar.
Thank you for your quality work, I watched lots of your videos and finally I chose v3 es. You say what you don't like and what doesn't work in your review, which is rare now. Suddenly your opinion becomes sincere and true. THANKS
Pulsar is absolutely killing it, i got the Pulsar X2H mini recently and there are zero issues with it, perfect build quality, perfect shape and size for me, and its hella light
Not as bold as the DAV3, you can actually dance around and flick this much easier, it’s not “always” touching your palm/top hand like the dav3. The DAv3 is still great, but this is just 🤌
Pulsar continues to be my personal favorite mouse company, the shapes they come out with across all their mice are just unbeatable to me, looking forward to what they have coming up next month!
T, as a fellow ergo mice lover - especially the Xlite v2 - I was waiting for this review. But tbh, I had to watch it twice because I was laughing so much during the first viewing that I missed some of the info. 😆 I'll probably be getting the regular Xlite v3. Thanks for yet another informative and entertaining video! 🍻
What’s your opinion now 10 months later? Do you still love it and is it holding up or have u had any problems? Have heard some stuff about the scroll, but not as much as the v2. Great video btw!
I agree, my xlite v3 eS arrived in today and I am so happy I traded up the outset AX for it. Couldn't of wished for a better Pulsar mouse FINALLY! I just pray the QC stands up as well as the previous v2. Hands down awesome driverless mouse, I thought VAXEE was good with theirs but man! Not having to turn my mouse on & off when changing settings is amazing. Well done to Pulsar I can finally say! ..So far. (prays in QC.)
@@TheTechne I did yeah that M1&2 do feel better also! I just love anything software-less etc! So the eS was just perfect for me. I get it though! If you don’t need all the bells and whistles that normal v3 is perfect still!
@@JQURNEY the Outset is still a solid mouse! I can’t deny, it comes come down to hand support and sensor placement in my opinion. The Outset is one of a kind shape I’ve never had before and it was nice! Sadly the sensor placement was too far back for the way I grip. For me the xlite is better because of sensor being in a more central position. Also the fact I can change any setting on the fly with a clicks where the Outset you have to slide the power switch off hold buttons then switch it back on. Hope this helps!
I loved the shape of the xlite v2 mini when I had the chance to hold it a couple of months ago, now I'm just waiting for the Xlite v3 size 1(mini) to be released and it's a no brainer order for me.
@@TheTechne I got the es. After weeks of waiting... It is perfect mouse for me. Totally worth the wait. I applied grip tape on sides - and it is a dream come true! Thank you!
@@TheTechne Yeah, I still have to try it... For ergos I have ec2c, dav3, outset, np01, dav2, and I returned the kone. I think that the outset has the most natural shape but it feels heavy compared to the ec2c without the inner-hand maneuverability and balancing. Also not a fan of the way it has the lower part of it that comes into contact with your carpal just taken away... The Thorn would address all those issues I'd imagine-- still curious how it is head to head with the xlite v3 though.
Hey Techne, as a DAV2 Pro user looking to upgrade in the future. Hows this compare to the Thorn, DAV3, Outset AX, or Stormbreaker? I know you did a bit of a video on the topic a few months ago but some of these have come out since then!
the ec2 was my favorite mouse for a long time, so I searched high and low for a good wireless clone. None of them felt quite right until I got the xlite v2 mini (i know, it's smaller, but the regular felt a little too big to me for some reason). I played great with the mouse for a while, then became ecstatic when I heard the ec2 wireless was coming out. I bought it IMMEDIATELY, played with it for weeks (months?)... and ended up hating it and going back to the xlite. So, definitely buying as soon as the size 1 comes out in (hopefully early) december!

I buy literally every okayish mouse out there. It's not about the money. It's not about one brand being better than the other, I literally couldn't care less. None of that matters to me. I only care about how it feels good in my hand and how it translates into aim and destroying the kids. 👍😎
A magnesium scroll wheel I think. Magnesium is the lightest metal, and only about 1.6 times heavier than most plastics. Weight difference from that is minuscule.
Just bought the es and have problem with double klick even though i changed p.rate to 500hz. Only defect otherwise really nice. I agree with you the weight should maybe be little more balanced as it is back heavy
I was looking over those two mouses last night. I was so conflicted either I get the Xlite V3 or Xlite V3 esports… Closest I have ever hold is around 63G Ergo which it is the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro faker edition. It is interesting that the Xlite V3 esports doesn’t need a software to edit your DPI’s… While the other… Xlite V3 It’s only 55g. I haven’t really made up my mind on getting my first pulsar mouse. I’ll think about this getting either one later.
I have the deathadder v3 pro. I ordered both the es and the regular. I don't say this often - but he's right. The coating of the regular feels nicer to me (like a smoother version of the white deathadder v3 pro feeling, less grainy, takes no time to get used to). I couldn't care less about the aluminum scrollwheel and the screen. I actually don't like these as they "feel" heavier, though they might not. I'm still switching between the regular xlite v3 and deathadder v3 pro (black).
How does it compare to the Thorn tho? 🤔 The es version has some obvious positives, bettery batterylife, metallic scrowheel and comes with 4k dongle. But also theres downsides, "worse" coating, no rubber on mwheel, heavier and its more expensive.
I badly wanted to try this mouse but after the issues that I have with my 2 copies of x2 Bruce Lee (both have horrible clicks), I'm sticking with tried and tested brands like Razer and Logitech. Great review though.
Love your videos bro. I'm barely resisting not to buy Xlite v3 now, because I'm waiting for special edition colorways, there are gona bee some sweet designs. Cool tats
Hi super video, thanks! I would like to ask do you have any plans compare Pulsar Xlite V3 vs Lamzu Thorn its only mouse with same shape which you didnt compare and it realy missed me.
I'd love to see if the eS actually has a meaningful difference in terms of polling stability because of the driverless version it has. It seems more attractive to me since I have had an issue in the past with the Razer 4k implementation on the viper mini SE because of the software. As well as the wireless polling stability on the coolermaster MM712. The weight at the back does concern me slightly since I have the MZ1 wireless and that has the same issue with the weight feeling a little chunky. I think I have heard that the weight difference is actually mostly because the eS has a larger battery to try and compensate a little better with the 4k polling and less so from the screen. Seems great though. I'm just waiting for the X2H mini eS though (they just announced the regular sized X2H eS is coming soon. Hopefully the mini comes next year soon-ish). Very similar dimensions to the coolermaster MM712 and that is my favorite shape to date. I know the shape is slightly different, but I just don't want it to be too big. Fingers crossed
OMG love this one. So, I have V2 Wireless and Logi Superlight for daily... Would you recommend the upgrade to V3? Seems awesome to me, truly want to hear what u think brother?
Would you recommend this to someone with 22x11 hands in cm? Im trying to get rid of my wired model O which feels rather tiny specially the sides. I do feel like waiting for the large one is the move, but the wait for that is another story. Let me know! Relaxed claw enjoyer by the way.
I just switched from a model o wireless to the V3. There's more height in the middle and it's about 0.5cm shorter, but I've switched from fingertip grip to palm grip to relieve some wrist stress. My hand is 20cm and it fits perfectly in my palm. Your fingers may hang over a bit.
Does your V3 eS have a small secondary audible click from when you release the left and right clicks? Never heard this on any mouse I've owned but not sure if mine is a QC issue and if I should return it?
I previously used the Logitech G Pro Superlight, but found it uncomfortable due to my hand size, which is around 18 by 9 cm. When using a palm grip, I felt like I couldn't fully grasp the mouse. I also own a Lamzu Maya, which is a smaller version of the G Pro Superlight and feels more comfortable, but I'm still searching for an even better fit. After researching , the Pulsar X3 Lite caught my attention as it is designed for palm grip users. However, based on EloShapes, it appears to be comparable in size to the Logitech, slightly larger, while the small version is similar to the Maya. Do you think upgrading to the Pulsar X3 Lite would be a good choice for me? What I'm specifically looking for in an upgrade is a mouse with a hump that either goes up or maintains a similar height, avoiding a downward slope. The objective is to fill the space between my palm and fingers, not entirely but sufficiently, akin to the comfort level provided by the Logitech G Pro Superlight. Do you think the Pulsar X3 Lite would be a suitable upgrade?
The reason the eS 4k dongle doesn't work on the regular version is probably because the eS version use a different MCU. My guess is that it only works for other eS version's mouses too but it probably doesn't matter anyway since they already have their own dongle anyway
Possible, or it has its own specific wireless channel to minimize interference at LAN events. Their goal was an "esports" version and there is usually a lot of other people using wireless tech and stuff.
mouse of the year is Finalmouse, stop cappin' 😆jokes aside, Pulsar has been on a war path updating their mice and giving gamers options. love to see it
I was debating on this one or the Stormbreaker but went with the latter since it was on sale and there weren’t any videos out at the time of the V3 es, I might still get the V3 es one when it’s back in stock 😤
hi bro, a interesting topic is the compatibility with the software, the v3 is compatible and the es no, it´s a problem for the people use 600 dpi or 900 and other thinks
This 4k dongle per device is pissing me off a bit honestly. Why can't one dongle works with every device from the same brand. I believe Lamzu is like this? As for the metal scroll wheel ... my Kone Dr.Disrespect has one and it's soooooo slippery.
@@TheTechne I sold my Atlantis mini which was 4k but I can still pair the normal Atlantis 1k to the 4k dongle. It's one device paired maximum but still, I don't need to buy multiple.
@The Techne How is the scroll-wheel CLICKING on the none ES one? On mine, it's super stiff/heavy, requires so much more force than on my other mice I ever tried.
My issue with the xlite v2 is the scroll wheel accidentally actuating. I know you said the xlite ES is easier to accidentally press but in the buttons portion of your vid, I saw the opposite. You actuated the scroll wheel multiple times accidentally on the regular version and never did on the ES version. IDK what to do, maybe there's another zowie clone without that issue. sigh
LETS GO!! Check those banana weights again. I think they may have got mixed up when you set them down to weigh the mice. In my opinion Guatemala bananas are way better. More Banana for sure . Also, it has 0.001ms less latency in comparison to the Ecuador banana, which I am really sensitive to. Ecuador banana does have a better tried and true shape. Oh, the mice look nice too. 😂
Techne i had a question for you about the difference between virtuoso xt and void pro wireless. Why are the equalizers different between the two headsets, they dont sound the same at all even if i use the same settings. Rn i use the void pro wireless because the sound quality is absolutely insane, bass works amazing for the action packed fights in shows. But i dont get that with any other headset and ive used from 600$ headphones all the way down to 30$ astros.
the void pro's are older, classic 20-20 freq. SO they do have that older preferred deep gamer classed sound. The new virtuoso pro's sound somewhat like that actually, but they are open back and wired
@@TheTechne Ok thanks for the insight on the matter. I have another question if you dont mind; i got another void pro wireless(void elite) and it sounds completely different to my old one. I prefer the sound to my used void over the new sound. Why is that? Also whenever i get void pro wireless headsets, its always the elite wireless is this on purpose or a mistake on my part. Both my headphones are void elites but the first one i got from amazon under the name Void pro wireless. The second time which was today the lady gave me the elite which was my fault for not noticing but yeah are they considered the same thing and im just making pro up somehow lol?
I got my Xlite V3 and I like everything about it except for the coating. Even in your video I can see your fingerprints on the coating, I've never had a mouse do this before. It looks dirty even when my hands are clean, very annoying.
I bought a DAV3 and the Xlite V3 and sent the DAV3 back. This mouse felt better in palm grip and once I've been using it for a few minutes, grips really nicely. For reference my hand is 20cm.
Pulsar remains on my permanent no-buy list. I bought their special edition X2 Super Clear, only for it to have a defective mouse 2 (right click). Pulsar didn't believe me, demanded video proof, and still refused to pay shipping costs to have it sent back to be repaired or replaced.
I modded my Xlite v2 so that it weight 66g, but then modded the Xlite v3 eS to 69g, and I still feel a huge difference. This is so uncomfortable and requires getting used to, and this is probably not just 3g more weight but also how it is distributed: I definitely feel the eS heavier and much heavier than the v2 non-eS. They look similar but are different. I wish I bought the non-eS one :-/ the eS is a good mouse, but after a lighter mouse and a well-distributed mass mouse, this is just…. Unpleasant.
Hi @@madarasoun3018 , most likely you can't. The mouse isn't supported by any software, it is self-sufficient and what is there doesn't allow for any customisation.

Watching this video while using my g703 lightspeed and EC2-CW lol.
Does your V3 eS have a small secondary audible click from when you release the left and right clicks? Never heard this on any mouse I've owned but not sure if mine is a QC issue and if I should return it?
Hello, my xlite v3 es has this sound when I release the right click. Did you return your mouse?
@@peter3d226 I did
@@funkmetalDid you get a better copy? Overall the shape is nice
@@peter3d226 yeah, I got an exchange instead of a refund
Do you think the Pulsar X3 Lite would be a suitable upgrade?
get the size 1 shell
The reason the eS 4k dongle doesn't work on the regular version is probably because the eS version use a different MCU. My guess is that it only works for other eS version's mouses too but it probably doesn't matter anyway since they already have their own dongle anyway
Possible, or it has its own specific wireless channel to minimize interference at LAN events. Their goal was an "esports" version and there is usually a lot of other people using wireless tech and stuff.
Great video, good job!
thank you
mouse of the year is Finalmouse, stop cappin'
😆jokes aside, Pulsar has been on a war path updating their mice and giving gamers options. love to see it
lol, mouse of the year for 💩 release 🤣
Is there a mini coming out? My fiancé has the v2 mini. Curious what’s the big difference or changes
I’m sure they will
Please review the LAMZU MAYA 😀

That ES cable end looks like a thunderbolt connection with those extra teeth.
Hi, does this mean one $20 dongle, i can pair 2 or more compatible pulsar mice?
Has this man joines a gang since i last saw him, about a year ago
LOL
I was debating on this one or the Stormbreaker but went with the latter since it was on sale and there weren’t any videos out at the time of the V3 es, I might still get the V3 es one when it’s back in stock 😤
the storm breaker is awesome!
@@TheTechne 1 week with it and I gotta say, that Stormbreaker is 100% legit! Holy cow is it incredible
did they fix the double clic issue on the v2?
hi bro, a interesting topic is the compatibility with the software, the v3 is compatible and the es no, it´s a problem for the people use 600 dpi or 900 and other thinks
This 4k dongle per device is pissing me off a bit honestly. Why can't one dongle works with every device from the same brand. I believe Lamzu is like this?
As for the metal scroll wheel ... my Kone Dr.Disrespect has one and it's soooooo slippery.
Man I was thinking the exact same thing about the dongle
@@TheTechne I sold my Atlantis mini which was 4k but I can still pair the normal Atlantis 1k to the 4k dongle. It's one device paired maximum but still, I don't need to buy multiple.
@The Techne How is the scroll-wheel CLICKING on the none ES one? On mine, it's super stiff/heavy, requires so much more force than on my other mice I ever tried.
it is a bit firm, but very very little travel, so it kinda balances out. As I said in this vid, the regular V3 feels much better
IDK what to do, maybe there's another zowie clone without that issue. sigh
the base v3 scroll wheel is perfect, no accidental actuations, and I'm still using it
And now I play the waiting game for the blue v3. I have too many black mice.
LOL, SpenC, you need to start a banana channel, and I promise I'm your first sub! 🤣
@@TheTechneso many fruit tier lists. Finalmouse strawberries are S tier for sure.
that weight comparison had me wheezing like an idiot.
But you said this about the DAV3 Pro and the DAV3 wired. Now I’m confused😢
Coming in a video next week. BTW I do still love the DAV3, but this is just more flickable
Can you do stress test on the finalmouse? 😜
lol! man did you see in this vid, it didn't even register on the gauge I was using LOL
@@TheTechne 😂😂
I got my Xlite V3 and I like everything about it except for the coating. Even in your video I can see your fingerprints on the coating, I've never had a mouse do this before. It looks dirty even when my hands are clean, very annoying.
Would the v3 be good if my current mouse is a Deathadder elite with palm grip?
I bought a DAV3 and the Xlite V3 and sent the DAV3 back. This mouse felt better in palm grip and once I've been using it for a few minutes, grips really nicely. For reference my hand is 20cm.
@@davehetesi7537 i got the DeathAdder i like it
I just bought the deathadder v3 😮💨
Any issues with clicks sticking? It was bad enough with the X2H where I returned it.
none what so ever as of now. they feel so good
after watching this i decide to pre-order a v3 size3 :)
How would this compare to the lamzu thorn?
a bit more safe
8:30 got to use numbers for guns and mouse wheel for jump
thats a good call, I'm gonna give that a try
Which mousepad do y'all recommend for this mouse?
I enjoy the lethal Saturn pro
im planning to buy v3 es but im claw grip is that okay?
Techne, I have to ask the question that we've all been wondering. How many strawberries do YOU weigh? 👀
You missed the battery life comparison.
Pulsar remains on my permanent no-buy list. I bought their special edition X2 Super Clear, only for it to have a defective mouse 2 (right click).
Pulsar didn't believe me, demanded video proof, and still refused to pay shipping costs to have it sent back to be repaired or replaced.
ah man thats not cool, did you ever get it worked out?
Just give me a lite mouse with a logitech hyper scrolling option, because I can't live without it.
Is ok to use 4k dongle and just use as 1k
When the ES is an extra $30 in the US but $50 extra in Canada 💀
How many "bofa this mice" you want for this video?
Techne: Yes
hu
All I am ready for is the demon slayer collab!
I got the es version I don't feel the 6 grams difference the thing that is a positive I don't have to go into software
Unpleasant.
Hi Do you know how i can map the side buttons on Pulsar V3 ES?
Hi @@madarasoun3018 , most likely you can't. The mouse isn't supported by any software, it is self-sufficient and what is there doesn't allow for any customisation.
what settings u guys would offer to play in cs2 with ? i cant find the right settings for the mouse
Guatemala gets banana of the year 2023.
😂
No longer The Techne know its The Fruitne 😂
lol
I love me some strawberry banana juice
My mouse of the year is definitely AOC GM530. Someone who is looking for cheap and quality mouse for 20 euros this is a no brainer lol
Sorry no Pulsar mice for me anymore. My new X2H mini jams all the computers I connect it to - must be defective microcircuit. So even it says ESport to me this is not reliable technology.
nice video
I would bought this mouse if it dont had the right stripe it doesn't fit my setup :(
I really wish you measured the click latency
them click latency websites are so iffy, not solid enough to justify test, and me trying to claim it as legit
that is respectable.@@TheTechne
The real question is - do they come in red?!?
