I picked 6. I just finished Annie Bot. Great plot idea. Disappointed with the story but may be just me. I am most sad that book of the month no longer lets me rate the books on the site. Now we have to on an app. I do not need one more app on my phone. Sad. but off to Tomorrow and Tomorrow.....

I also picked A Fate Inked in Blood and grabbed Shark Heart for my book of the year. I’m planning on going a video based off the finalists and it was the only one I didn’t already own. I also added Murder Road and Ruthless Vows since I recently read Divine Rivals and enjoyed it. I hope you like the books!
Ohhh, those shelves are gonna look so awesome filled with your books! 😍 I was surprised that Weyward didn't win, too. SO many people are feeling some type of way that Yours Truly won. 😂 I mean, I'm not mad about it. For me, it was a cute, enjoyable read. As long as The Wishing Game didn't win, I'm happy.
This month, I chose Annie Bot. I decided to go with something that was completely different from anything I've ever read. The whole thing seems so "out there" that I just HAVE to see what's going on with this one for myself! 🤣 Plus, it's salacious...😉 I'll let you know how I like it. Speaking of salacious, did you ever pick up Butcher & Blackbird?
IKR! I'm so excited to put my books on them! 😆 I'm really surprised that Yours Truly won. It was good, but IDK if it was book of the year? Yes, I want to hear how Annie Bot is. I feel that one would stick with me. It really sounds like ex machina. I still think about that movie pretty often. I recommend it! 🤖 I did read Butcher & Blackbird. It was really just fine. The synopsis made it sound better than it was. 😂

I ended up choosing Here After, I'm trying to branch out with new genres and I've recently taken a liking to memoirs, and as someone who's lost integral people in my life I thought it'd be a healing experience to peer into someone else's experience 😢 I am ready to cry about it

I picked Annie Bot since I received Fate Inked in my Fairyloot box. Annie Bot intrigued me because I’m a sucker for books the focus on identity/search for identity. I would say I’ll let you know how it is but who knows when I’ll read it! 😂 I’m terrible about reading my BotM books. I also picked Shark Heart for my free book. I already had all the others except for the thrillers (not my genre).
The one that interest me the most I got it yesterday in Target 😢 (a fate inked in blood)
I skipped the monthly selections as the only one I was interested in I ordered a special edition of already (fate inked in Blood) I did go for a copy of the killers of flower moon as an alternative pick, and then got yours truly for my free pick, and also added the broken girls as well. I voted for Weyward for Book off the year I really enjoyed that book. Congrats on the bookshelves they will look spectacular

For this month I picked up Anita de Monte Laughs Last (I haven't read the author's previous book - I hope I like it!) and Kill For Me Kill For You. The Book of the Year pick was a tough one. The only one I had read was Weyward (one of my favorites of last year), and I am not interested in Wishing Game or Yours Truly. I nearly grabbed Shark Heart without carefully reading the synopsis, but thankfully I did... I have this weird extreme revulsion to the thought of people transmorphing into other biological things (lol it's inexplicable) and reading the plot made me nauseated. So I went for None of This is True as a safe pick I will actually read hahaha.
