Hazbeen was the one that wanted to be financially independent, step away from royal duties, and the country. I don’t think he thought this through.

He never wanted to leave...he want half in half out and thought that they could bend the BRF to their will when they didn't yield, the world wide bullying tour against the BRF began...they thought the allegations would win them some points, it didn't and now harry is stuck fighting a loosing battle
Just about all of Harry's problems all stem from his inability to think things through. He's like a 40-year-old angry toddler, and he's making life decisions based on that.

Completely agree about the salary. I am in government. I do not get paid what I would if I were doing the same job in the private sector, however, I know my job helps people, not a corporation. People that may never ever know. But I know. What I don't make in money, is made up by the feeling of community and how I have helped it.

Every court is different. Every judge is different. Every case is different.
One more time, according to Daniel.
Remember this case was about the process RAVEC used to make the decision to remove Harry’s armed security. Should Harry successfully appeal this, and win, it just means that RAVEC has to review the decision they initially made. They would probably come to exactly the same decision again and Harry would still not get 24/7 armed protection but continue to get bespoke security, depending on a credible threat to him.
I think be charged a million pounds would deter him from trying again.

As long as he keeps appealing or asking for permission to appeal he probably doesn’t have to pay because if the judgement is in his favor they would have to give Harry the money back. Idk though really how it works in the UK, but that is what makes sense to me.

How many times can someone appeal to the Court of Appeal? These court cases seem to go round in endless circles.

The US doesn't want him either. His VISA application is still under investigation concerning false statements made in it regarding drug use.
Thank you for the comment about lawyers! I didn't become a lawyer to earn lots of money. I genuinely wanted to help people and do something useful and I loved studying law. Although I am no longer in practice, I am still interested in the law, just not the way governments impose regulations on lawyers!

Why is he not being legally tagged as a 'Litigious Litigent'? My understanding is that when is tagged as such, what it really means is that he would require the courts to take a look at his evidence and given permission to proceed, before he was allowed to file any suit, in any UK court. So why, exactly, has he not been brought to heel with this? Most especially because we ALL know that not a single one of these court cases and all of their related costs are not costing the petulant, traitorous brat a single penny. It is dark money propping him up!

Harry's demands make no sense to me. He wants RPO protection because he believes it to be the best. He has been told that our intelligence services will assess his risk and if he is in any danger he will get RPO 's; if there is no risk, he will not. So on the one hand he trusts them so implicitly that he wants their services, but on the other hand he doesn't trust them enough to assess his risks. That makes no sense. I can only conclude that it's either not about his actual risk, but that he wants the glamour of the thing, or that he expects the taxpayer to find his security when he's here on his own business rather than being here in his capacity as a 'sort of,' royal attending the odd family function. Assuming his family feel that they have to have him around. I doubt they do.
He wants his IPP back is all that this involves. He should have never left the RF . Smarty pants never thought ahead about this matter. His “little head” was listening to the Meg .

A question about ethics and law. What do you think of lawyers who take on such a hopeless case? Would they have warned him that the chances were very slim? And if he was determined to proceed regardless, would they feel justified in wasting everyone's time and money?
That did cross my mind but Harry is probably very stubborn and will not listen to good advice. He has had a life that does not include the words ‘you can’t have that’.

Everyone is entitled to justice under the law. That means everyone is entitled to his/her day in court, for which a lawyer is required. THAT is ethical and legal. In some countries, if the accused /defendant doesn't have or can't afford a lawyer, one is appointed for him/her. That lawyer has no choice in the matter and must defend the accused/defendant to the best of his/her ability. Even if the case is, as you say, 'hopeless' or the 'chances very slim,' it doesn't matter whether or not a lawyer feels 'justified;' if the case is adjudged relevant and court-worthy then the accused/defendant must have a lawyer, and how that lawyer 'feels' is irrelevant; his/her feelings cannot be considered and it still be a fair trial.
ALWAYS remember the ONLY people who win in ANY court cases win or lose and that's the BARRISTERS. They are laughing all the way to bank.

I don't think the person who insulted government lawyers realizes how bad that makes Harry's legal team look by comparison.
They lost the case.
So either Harry's case was hopeless no matter who took it on, which makes Harry look stupid.
Or his lawyers were less competent than the government lawyers which makes his legal team look stupid.
Is asking the appellate court for leave to appeal the final legal step for Harry if he is refused permission or is there still another legal process that he can use?

My husband who was retired and in bad health (and had to limit his court room appearances) still did a lot of pro bono work and of course friends and family always got free. A lot of people miss him.

He won't go through with it. He knows he's done...he just likes to threaten. But he has now listed himself as being officially domiciled in America. So he has even less chance of getting anything from the British taxpayers.
I think it’s more about whether his security detail is armed. He is willing to pay for security therefore he could have a perfectly good unarmed detail obtained privately without having to go to court.
There are so so many media and YT channels giving false information, rumors and speculation every day that I only watch a very few reliable channels, and this is one of them.

What is the usual action taken by a Court , When Harry has leaked Documents that were Confidential to Jonny Mercer MP , Minister for Veterans Affairs , Jenny Affuia of Shillings and to
His Barrister .
This breach of security was dealt by way of apology .
Would that not normally be treated more harshly if an ordinary Mortal Broke Confidentiality .
It makes it seem like his Privilage makes him immune from censure .
Is there a date set yet for when payment is due, is it delayed until appeal process is exhausted?
Only the Court knows when payment is due. And, that may be up to the judge.

The confusion in the newspapers arises because journalists don't know what the appeal process is and can't be bothered to understand it, and don't care enough about the accuracy of what they publish.
An appeal in the UK in our civil courts system is not an automatic right. The court has to give permission to appeal.
If they decline permission then you need to submit an applicaton to the appeal court asking for permission to appeal.
Then and only then if they grant permission can you go ahead and submit an appeal.
Journalists don't understand the difference between a permission to appeal hearing and the appeal itself.

Love your comments at around 3.14 about the price a solicitor charges is no reflection of their competence. As a provincial property solicitor couldn't agree more. Expensive City lawyers are not necessarily better, (and I have come up against a few who are frankly woeful and borderline negligent in their lack of grasp of land law) but their Firm's have much higher overheads. Remember, as a client you are paying for those fancy City glass fronted buildings, double height atriums etc....not just legal expertise!!!

Well, truthfully, Harry was found to have cheated there, in the elite school, Eton, that is the equivalent of an elite U.S. preparatory high school. Harry never attended university, as his elder brother accomplished, nor earned a university diploma. Therefore, all of his ignorance in academics (and life) may be laid at Harry's feet for he manipulated and exploited his loving and doting grandmother, i.e., the one with the power, who paved the way for Harry's current situation (and past misdeeds that were covered up) out of her own maternal feelings of love and devotion.
