There used to be the Strand Theatre in Seneca Falls in the mid 70s. Right at the 2:30 point in the video to the right. We used to go there to see Sunday matiness for $2 there. I was in junior high school. Most of the films were those low budget sci fi or horror films. Wonderful memories.
Taking my son to visit colleges recently, our tour guide said he was from Seneca Falls. My wife said "Oh, we went on a vacation there" and he said "Oh, great... i mean, wait.... WHAT?? you went on VACATION there????" Yep. Enjoyed seeing it again on this video. Thanks.
Went to Eisenhower College my freshman year when RIT bought it and put first year photo students there when it was a two year waiting list to go to Rochester. Liked Sneaky Falls, but it was a way station for the big action I wanted.
Yo this town is historically significant and you highlighted only the parts of it that are rumoured to have inspired an actually mid movie. But shoutout to the bandstand tho fr
It ain’t no wonderful life when a walker has to use that narrow sidewalk across the bridge in the rain or snow, getting splashed by every car and truck along the way.

maybe on the next version. I was trying to keep it short and give people an idea of what the town looks like. Thanks for the feedback!
