I’ve got over 350 miles on my G max, it’s already paid for itself! I definitely get better range in warmer weather. You may want to tighten the rear brake for a quicker stoping when going downhill. The cable is very easy to adjust. Also, the re-gen feature is a sweet feature when going downhill. Thanks for sharing this video.
If you had to choose between this Gmax and a Segway Ninebot Max, which do you prefer? Do you feel that they're of similar build quality? I'd really like to see you do a comparison between the two.
There actually both the same if u do the research they lie about 500 watt power motor . The 350watt has a peak of 700 watt same as the " 500 watt " motor
What is the difference between the gmax and gmax ultra? I see both listed on their store and on amazon and the ultra is $100 more but I don't see any difference in the specs besides a slightly bigger battery, is there any other difference?
@@ElectricRevolution but the S2 pro had more torque and in drive mode and sport mode the S2 pro was definitely stronger with torque. Im happy with the range but the torque is a major let down
I live in a slightly hilly area and am looking to do around 10 miles max so do you find this scooter being capable of that? Or am gonna need one of those tank scooters? Lol I'm 5'10 160 lbs
Well with the non ultra gmax you get non LG batts.....advertised for that model I think is 40 miles not 45. I’m 185 as well.....I have the ultra with the LG batts.....gonna try it myself with range. Gotta wonder if you had rode it on flat terrain.
Really depends on range and rider weight, they advertise over a 20 mile range so it is possible but gotta stay on flat terrain and weigh around 150 lbs
Love my GMAX!! Great Video!
I have a question when u first got it was the default password 000
Thank you for putting the brake test in your video. Just got one and i didn’t know it’d take that long to stop 😅

It has re-gen ? I have the g4 would that have it too? Thanks 🙃

I believe that the front brake is electromagnetic

I've reviewed both and both are really good scooters. I might go with this as it's faster and lighter.
@@ElectricRevolution Thank you very much, sir. I'm digging your channel, by the way.

love the vid
great video! what app you use for speed o meter? looks pretty accurate
Speedometer Simple paid
@@RickyEats cool
I would like to know the filming location of this video! Beautiful terrain! Please let me know! 😀
Cedar City Utah
Would you prefer this or the GMAX Ultra ? And why?
This one, it goes faster, can't stand scooters that top out at 15
Can I ask what phone app you’re using to track your speed and range? I want to be able to test my G4s range but I’m not so sure how
Yeah, it's called "map my walk"

Better acceleration that's all i think
@@sillybikky what's the acceleration numbers?
If I can remember correctly this one goes faster
@@ElectricRevolution the ultra is faster?
So they say 🤔
sweet video!
Hello how are you?
Thanks!
Is there an app like for Segway but do they have one for go trax..so you can see the speed. Etc.?
They didn't have one when I reviewed this, so not sure
Just got one and it has a 500w motor. Gen 2 May be? Go Trax doesn’t have it listed for 500watts. Any idea what’s up?
I think 500 w is as big as they come
I have the Hiboy S2 max but I feel it's a bit slow. Which is faster, the Gotrax gmax or hiboy s2 Max?
niu kqi3 pro
They both top out at around 18 mph

This tends to struggle on hills as you saw in the review, small hills are fine, med to large like over 8%, I'd go with something more powerful
@@ElectricRevolution great to know thanks for the response by the way!
You should do a review on the ultra
I did!
they stated 45miles range for the max ultra but you only get 15 miles, that’s a lot off from advertising
That's why I do what I do :). Most range ratings are based on the lowest speed mode with 150 lb rider. I'm 185 lbs riding on speed mode 3
@@ElectricRevolution good thing we have reviewer like you to do real world test

have you ever gotten better range? i would think with a 17ah battery you would get over 20....but i dont know what elevation does, hmm...

Does it tell you the speed on the scooter
No
Does this model have an app to track and lock the scooter? thanks for your video it was very helpful
No none of them do unfortunately 🥲 but I was thinking of putting an AirTag on mine just in case
No it doesn't
What phone holder are you using?
QuadLock Bike Mount: amzn.to/32YHmTn
not very exciting but very good speeds for a standard 2nd budget scuters
Is this the gmax or the gmax ultra?
Gmax
What city are u from ?
That's Cedar city, UT
