Success, hardship, and failure are all part of the journey. Nothing in life worth having has ever come easy. We all question our choices in life. Most of the international guys that I know play NAIA, NJCAA, NCAA D1/2 during the season, and then play USL2 league during the summers. Being away from friends and family is always tough. It boils down to determination and willingness to beat the odds. You have come a long way since your early videos on the channel with 300 subs. Having a degree to fall back on is never a bad thing. Perhaps find a field that interests you. Your future self will thank you. Always be looking at the long term picture along with the short term. I know you can succeed at whatever you set your mind to Tom!
You’ve got some much better in the last 6 months as a player, we have all been literally watching you become a better player, coming back to England ain’t the end of the world go play step 3/4 non league and work your way up your still young. Hope this helped 🤞🏼❤️
By watching your channel for a really long time and knowing the pain you’re going trough right now i know that you’re always better when you’re happy. In my opinion going back to the UK and playing for a first team where you’re starting and being with family is the best choice so do what your gut tells you❤️
@@TomAllenFootball You know at the same time you still want to do what you’ve always dreamed of so it’s a really tough decision to take but i believe that you’re strong and will do what’s best for you❤️💪🏼
Head up champ! Football is a crazy sport- it just takes one lucky break to make your dream come true! Why not keep going as long as you possibly can because at least you can know you gave it your all. If you give up whilst you are so close and still have some more to give you may regret it. I have gone through moments where it feels like I'm just moving sideways but it's these moments that are the most important to keep at it my bro! From just watching your highlights you have definitely got the ability to go all the way mate!
yoo tom dont quit man u can do it i believe in u, the effort u put in is way greater than anyone else ive ever seen at your age and a believe u can do it, im planning on going to the usa too and ur videos inspire me to work harder, much luv bro
anywhere you are there will be highs and there will be lows. Of course being away from family doesn't help at all. Also the money thing is understandable, however you cant put a price on achieving your dream and if you think this will help you do so grit your teeth and youll make it all back one day - believe in yourself. On the flip side tho, this is your time to have this experience. There will be plenty opportunities after where you can play in the UK with this unique experience backing you all the way. Your not in your prime yet so your not missing out on alot and the time will come for you to play in. the UK. Getting through it would be a great accomplishment but only you kn ow what is right for you. When you know, youll know what the right decision is but in the meantime ride this experience and embrace all the challenegs cos that is what being a D1 athlete is about. Keep your head up and keep pushing for more.
I've never gone abroad but I can imagine it's incredibly hard. If you are willing to stay in the US maybe try transferring to a school where you will be happy with the degree you are getting.
Also, I got a question When I play for my school against other schools, I feel I play better But when I play for my team, I think I play worse Do you know why and any tips
Completley disagree, the path into pro football from non league is much more difficult, the quality of football is much less advanced, the tactical and technical game out here is better but back home the football is a more physical game.

Thanks man for the help, I’ve made a decision on my future, however I can’t say yet.
Also, I got a question
When I play for my school against other schools, I feel I play better
But when I play for my team, I think I play worse
Do you know why and any tips
It may be style of play, chemistry in the team, different level. Ask yourself which of these it is and work on it
@@TomAllenFootball thanks so much tom
Bro maybe the school ain't right for you, there are possibilities to transfer,
This year has been awful for me aswell but in different aspects
Gotta transfer to a proper organization like the njcaa, ncaa or naia
It’s an option
should’ve went into non league in the uk. far higher quality of football, better experience and a more straight forward path into pro football
