Thank you so much for uploading and sharing. Excellent writer, delightful narrator 😊. The author has a smooth way of transiting to new topic while keeping you engaged. The narrator's voice is intriguing, and smoothing. I will like to visit Naples.
Is the author still alive or in witness protection , he names people and gives details of the vast range of crimes ,its a global enterpise of murder ,bribery and corruption at the highest level , so well written and narrated .
SAW THIS ON SCREEN THEN HEARD THE AUDIO AND MUST CONFESS COULD NOT FALL ASLEEP AS MUCH AS I NEEDED TO SLEEP IN MY COMFORTABLE BED THIS WAS JUST TOO GRUESOME AND EXCITING AND WHAT IS REALLY SCARY IS THAT IT IS ALL TRUE.
I went through almost half and just couldn't get into it. There is no plot just author's philosophical remarks about every situation and neverending list of deceased. Nothing that will keep your attention. I'm just gonna watch a movie I guess
Great book. Also the tv series is one of the best shows ever made its like the wire mixed with goodfellas and some game of thrones minus the fantasy. Its done so well one of the best crime dramas of all time
I love how fugazi this book exposed the highend designer racket as. Literally throwing $ away at a famous name for no real tangible qualitive reason or even a guarantee that your product isn't from the off brand gangster shop by the time it reaches your hands
Unfortunately just got into the Bulgarian human smuggling season with The Immortal and feel like the show has jumped the shark.. the first few seasons were fire though..
Excellent prose. This guy writes well. I was not the leàst bit interested in the subject matter initially, nonetheless I felt compelled to continue listening.
Its incredible that the Mafia of Napoli, Nothing was known about her until An Italian Jew ,Roberto , Had the skill and guts to write about them . Same with the Chinese Very strong mafia and the Corsican Mafia.
The camorra was one of the first gangs to take power in america Especially new York city They had several families there at the turn of the century And we're all folded into the cosa nostra Like all other Italian gangsters
The Camorra is older than the Sicilian mafia. Ndraghetta the Calabrian mafia is also very powerful in Italy and Europe. They are also in partnership with the Mexican cartel...
I haven't started listening to this yet, but I'll bet that listeners will recognize a lot from the behavior of this criminal organisation with the current behavior of our governments, their media, medical institutions, all the current so called sustainable acolites, etc. So knowing our history is nowadays even more important.
Yes, both organized crime/mafia 'kick up to the boss' & corporate communism/citizen' capitalism 'pay up to the political bosses' econo-profit farming models both operate very similarly indeed, almost like they've always been meant to operate in conjuction
Lol! You might find it boring but if you listened long enough you'd know the history of how you came to have that pair of jean you're wearing thanks to the Italian underworld.
If you haven't watched the tv series of the same name do your self a favour and watch it. To me it's the greatest show ever made.
I saw the movie. It was decent
What a series. A modern masterpiece

Roberto Saviano is alive and well, still living in Italy. He has lived under police protection since 2006.

Thank you for this story, I really enjoyed it. 😊
Grest read. Most of us live in ignorance of what is really happening around us.
Excellent book , brilliant writing perfect narration shocking and disturbing .

Is suggest that you give it another go, this is some amazing media here 👋🔥👍
I can't stop listening brilliant book so far thankyou.
The suit Angelina Joilie wore was credited to D&G.. the guy who made it needs the props / money more than they do.. life’s not fair tho 😂

please explain how Gomorrah is in any way shape or form like Game of Thrones LOL that is the weirdest, weirdest comparison i have ever seen lol
@@nostalgiabarn4072 I guess in regards to the political power struggles.
Uh by
It is man some of the greatest plot twist I've ever experienced as far as a tv shows concerned
Yeah, like he said 'political power struggles' i.e. PALACE intrigue
Thanks for posting the author has been living under police protection since writing the book in 2006.

Thank you - I just hope the ending isn’t as bad as the tv series
Lol last seasons of the series turned into killing soap opera and the ending was a circus
Unfortunately just got into the Bulgarian human smuggling season with The Immortal and feel like the show has jumped the shark.. the first few seasons were fire though..
Y'all tripping it was the greatest show ever.
Who is the narrator? He's definitely in the right line of work.
Michael Kramer, he said right at the start 😊

Incredible listen
Amazing book !
The original Italian made

chapter time stamps would be nice.
This narrator has done some of James Pattersons books with Alex Cross .
He's a welcome recruit...
Most of these numbers are very cryptic.

Aloha from Haiku, Maui. Does Lower Westsider refer to NY or Chicago? Just curious:) Take care, aloha,

I didn't know there were Italian Jews?
That man should shut his mouth and respect the system.
In Italy the camorra was well known, although a bit underestimated because cosa nostra was in the spotlight
Naples has great pizza. And Peronis . Ischia is a boat ride away. Great shoes and suits and hats

This is absolutely nothing to do with the tv series
It's more like the movie; a granular exposition of the whole milieu is emphasized more than any one character's plight.
Zzzzzz. Unlistenable to me. Moving on.
