June 25, 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Michel Foucault's death. A new book by Foucault is published at almost the same time. It brings together the notes, drafts and lectures he wrote on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche over the course of his career. In this video, Michel (the puppet) explains the significance of Nietzsche for his work - from the idea of genealogy to the question of power and the concept of the Theatrum philosophicum.
