Thanks for watching and please subscribe. Sorry my audio was jacked in most of this video.
Love the orange with silver stripes...sweet! Congrats to the owner!
Thanks 👍
Thanks brother you guys are the best I beat the hell out of my car😅
Just nasty and I absolutely love that color with silver stripes. I'll be out there eventually for a blower on my '07 Shelby GT. You guys do great work.
Thanks so much for the comment and watching!
Me too, love that color!!! Someday I’ll have a GT500, someday!!
Awesome. Love these videos. Miss my 07 Grabber Orange GT. But my GT350 makes me miss it less
LOL GT350 dont look back!
Brenspeed haha she’s a keeper
Love that color!!!! Rare!! That’s a helluva GT500 now, and I bet it didn’t break the bank, considering how many top-shelf parts are on it! 🚀🏎
Very true!
I agree with what you said at the end of segment, if your gonna rip 20 min road rips to some shows then don’t open up the motor for upgrades, if your going to prove the car over and over, step up and put pistons and rods at least in order to enjoy reliability.
And the 500 looks killer in school bus yellow.
Yep thanks!
@@shanestewart9505 that isnt school bus yellow its grabber orange which is somewhat similar but def not the same. Sby has an orangish hue to it as well.
My 326 is arriving tomorrow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
NICE!
Dannnngggg!!! 🏎
Race Gas Smells Good follow my IG _Bruce3v_ ! I posted
Damn she's a mean car. I'm tempted to dyno my 2019 just to see where it's at before any more mods go on
Canadian Cruisin great idea and thanks for watching !
@@BrenspeedEngineering 👍🔥
sweet looking GT500
thanks
Great GT500!!
It sure is!
I need a 5.8 blower set up for my gt500. But with svt and 5.8 dremeled off and powdercoated black to look like the stock blower.
I like that idea i thought about doin that when i get an older gt500 this year but leaving svt on there and paint the blower black and paint svt red that would look sweet. Or paint svt whatever color the valve covers are paint them both the same color i think that would be sweet.
Killer numbers. That color scheme is on point too!
I wish I could get some actual info on the full build GT500 I bought that you guys built. I talked to the other dude there to get info and he wasn’t having it so I gave up on it. :(
We use all ARP hardware. ARP 2000 rod bolts, ARP main studs, manley rods and pistons, King & Clevite bearings, and Total Seal steel top rings. THANKS for checking!
@@BrenspeedEngineering That does not answer my question, but thanks. It was more to find out about the car I own that you guys built. George was not all that pleasant and would never release numbers to me it made or fill in any gaps on the receipts I have.
You guys did like a $30k build on my car but he was not happy to answer questions for some reason.
@@PMPerformance Hi was this built for you or did you buy it and it was built. What name would it be under or last name and first initial if you dont want to post.
Oh and the other reason I ask is because your name you use on your instagram is not in our system so wondering if you purchased the car used or used another name. THANKS
Brenspeed I purchased it used, but I had very simple questions that the receipts did not cover. None of which were personal data, but I wanted to know the mileage when the motor was put in and what power it made when you guys built it at the very least.
Any other little tidbits would be nice, but at the minimum would be that because the car has had a bit of history that makes me curious on some things.
Feel free to message me on IG or my UA-cam channel to take it offline.
I enjoy your channel and subbed because you built my car. Just kind of turned me off the way George reacted when I called.
You the man I have a 4.6 3v and Love your vids
Thanks for the comment!
Where is the chop chop in this video? Cammed GT500's sound nasty
Sorry my audio was shit and I deleted that cut. Here is a link to those same cams in another GT500 ua-cam.com/video/e2AQJKncBDE/v-deo.html and here is another ua-cam.com/video/AKLTuLMCbE4/v-deo.html
Please advice any kenne bell supercharger build by you ... s550 or s560 ... 4.2 maybe
I was going to ask (how long do you think the bottom end, would last?), but you answered the question sort of . 🤞
Yah there is no exact answer for that on how long. Maybe long, maybe not, just depends what you do with it.
Brent with just a tvs swap everything else bone stock. Stock, headers, stock mid pipe on 93 can you hit 650/650 on a bone stock tvs equipped car?
Close, here is a video of a stock car I filmed a long time ago. Torque might not hit 650 but you can get there rwhp with a TVS 2.3. Ford stopped selling them so you need to find them online for sale used. ua-cam.com/video/uEebuZS_6VQ/v-deo.html
Great video! I'm actually thinking about what my next car is going to be coming from a 03 Cobra and I have my eye on the 11/12 GT500. I never go to the track but do like highway pulls, would the stock motor live a long life at 700 hp? Thanks!
700 is pretty nice for highway pulls for sure. Yes a 11/12 at 700 would be a great car for you and should last pretty long. Do cooling mods!
Do cooling mods and give it the best fuel you can...i.e. if you can't go e85 do boostane and pump gas to make it 100 octane that is what I am gonna do let's you squeeze a little more power out of it and do it a little safer imo. When pushing these cars its always a good idea to have plenty of octane trying to push it too far on pump gas is where alot of people have problems imo.
Any idea what the GT500 put down before the mods? Thanks.
About 410-440 wheel stock
Depends on year. A stock 07 is under 500 rwhp. they all got a bit higher as the years progressed. A TVS 2.3 upgrade can make 650+ rwhp pretty easy on a mostly stock car.
You made some solid gains then 👊
What was the peak boost? Would be nice you would include that in your videos besides power and torque #'s. Looking at wanting to make 700+rwhp on 93 and 750 on race gas. Not sure if the 2.3 is too small to safely run (too much iat heat) on a daily driver.
Itll be fine just get a good heat exchanger and bigger tank etc. A max effort 2.3 can do that easily but if you wanna do if without having to max the blower out doing it the gen3r is prob a better choice that is the one I'm going with unless I find an unbeatable deal on a 2.3.
My 07 shot the rods out the side of the block at 660 hp, I’d say be careful
Thanks for watching!
Must have had a bad tune in it
@@ryansvtthats what im thinking or got ahold of bad gas. These will easily live in the 700-800 range long as you dont rev it over 6500 and have plenty of octane.
I have a 08 gt 500 with 33000 miles, bone stock with a street tune and cold air, please let me know what kind of gains if I install long tubes and a smaller pulley?
If memory serves me correctly if you do the 2.6 pulley and LT with the CAI and tune a stock 08 GT500 would be 530-550 rear wheel horsepower ish depending on dyno, day, fuel quality, etc....
if it was me and yes my money,i would just invest in the better upgrade from the get go,,,,why bother doing all that work and push it beyond stock internals...and who isn't going to take that out and have some fun with it,,,,unless the owner plans on parking it in a garage.
There are guys making upwards of 1KWHP on these motors stock and racing it like very regularly. That is not a hard limit, just something most will tell you is "agressive" so they are not to blame when it lets go.
This car is fine. They're fine in this power range with good cooling good fuel and tune and don't Rev it over 64-6500. They don't like high rpm on stock bottom end other than that they can handle alot of abuse. I have an 07 at 750 rwhp 93/boostane around 19 psi with a gen3r stock long block. I'm around 130k it was around 120k when I did the gen3r and it was bolt on making 550 wheel for years prior to that. I have not been easy on it either. I take care of the car the best oil the best fuel the best everything and 5k mile oil changes no more but I have octane and don't Rev it too high. Car is fine and runs like a scaled dog. I'm going to eventually put a built motor in it but I'm hoping to run the stock one another 2 or 3 years or so I would like to coyote swap my 97 cobra between now and then so hopefully the gt500 lives a few more years. I have faith in it I've seen what these things can do.
To add to my previous post I recently seen one with 200k and he was around this power level and had been since 150k imo that is extremely impressive these things are stout.
I thought those motors can handle 800 or 850 with a good tune and fuel??
It depends on a lot of factors tbh. Generally 800 on E85 is as far as you wanna go. 750 is fine on an octane additive like they have. Other than that, keep boost at around 19 maybe 20 PSI if you wanna push it and generally you’ll be ok. If you race all the time and beat the shit out of the car of course something is gonna give, but that’s natural. Another big killer for the Ford 5.4 and 5.8 motors is high RPM. The rev limiter is set to 6250 and you absolutely do not wanna go past that, and probably keep the car lower than that. The weak point of the engines is the rods. They’re I beam instead of H beam, and they’re long rods
@@dakotahaywood5763you can Rev em to 64-6500 fairly safely imo but everything else you said I agree 110% with and you Def don't wanna Rev it higher than that usually rpm and lack of octane are what gets most cars (or bad tune)
