I am very happy with my Samson speakers and Samson mixer. It does all i ask of it for my humble little band.
How do they unlock when the pa system is locked together?
Did you ever figure this out? I just bought one and can’t find the directions.
@@Cbtrainnut Its got 2 sided tape which makes it ridiculous to unhook the first time. You just have to force it.

I have the system and i am experiencing sudden cuts when music plays. would you happen to know what it might be? The system is used in a church where we have 3 wired mics, one wireless, and music playing together at the same time and i am starting to hear some cracking coming from speakers. could there be too much power going through it? would adding second pair of speakers help. how can i add a second pair of powered speakers? I have the samson xp800
This PA system is more useful for smaller gig. for church uses, you might be better off with a pair of Yamaha A12s and a Yamaha EMX312 powered mixer or even a pair of Yamaha Stagepas 1k system
At louder volumes like past 80% there will be clipping and unwanted distortion . That is true of any PA speaker. The mixer that came included with the system as well as the speaker itself should have a indicator on it to let you know when it is too hot and vulnerable to clipping. It should not go into the red at all. Try to keep it in the green or if you have to the first or second yellow. Have two speakers - one on each side of the far end and in front of the stage on the corners. Speakers on stands angled more or less toward the center of the room / Church. As a option also have two more speakers in the back of the room. One on each corner also more or less angled toward the center of the room / Church. Connect the second pair by adding the left one in the back left side of the room to the one on the left of the stafe. Do the same to the right speaker. You plug the extra speaker to the respective speaker out. It creates a nice surround sound without the need to blast the volume and push the speakers to the point of clipping. Another option is to have two speakers plugged into the monitor out of the mixer and the other two plugged into the speaker out. The ones that are used as monitors are for the band so that they can hear themselves. The other two are for the audience. Also a additional option is you have two more speakers connected the ones facing the audience but those extra two are in the back of the Church in the manner i first mentioned. The room / church is full of sound and the band has monitors to hear themselves.
