Excellent video! Sadly the mod bracket doesn’t look to work with a DartsLive or Gran Board. Actually I don’t think you can buy the Mod bracket separately. It would be nice to easily swap back and forth from soft to steel tip.
That is an interesting thought to be able to buy the spring bracket for the back of your dartboard separately so you can easily swap out dartboards (possibly even a soft tip board). We will have to take a look at the Gran Board and see if we can figure this out!
Hi Jurgen, we cover this topic around 9:45 in the video when going over the MOD Halo Light. Only the MOD Surround works with the Halo Light - other surrounds will be too thick and interfere. However, if you're not using the MOD Halo lighting system then you can use any surround you want. If you utilize an old corona light for example, you can still use any other surround. Hope that helps!
Absolutely, for myself, I'd start with the HUB and one long 500mm rail (maybe more rails) - utilize whatever dartboard and lighting system I have. Then hope for future accessory options like camera mount & tablet mount. I'd probably jimmy rig my own accessories to the rails in the meantime, because I'm ghetto like that 😂 Save up for the future and really start to pimp the system out!
Nice review but I believe don't need all those equipment to become a good player. Only I need is good dartboard (50$ - 80$) , good darts (50$ max 80$) and a lot of time to practice :) But perhaps I am just too old :)
No it cannot as the Hub needs to screw directly into the back of the darboard and since you don't rotate soft tip boards/electronic boards there is no need for the hub system.
The aspar board by itself is quieter than the blade 6 for example. I know this because i just bought the aspar yesterday. Not got the mod hub yet but i should imagine it would be quieter and absorb sound more. I have been annoying my neighbours too lol
Thanks for the reply. The only problem I’m seeing is an accessory mount to add a phone/cam for something like dart connect. They should make something that mounts to one of the two posts on the light, or a mount that comes off one of the rails.
@@mcb0b1 we do carry a mount for a cell phone that goes on the rails and Target will be coming out with a tablet holder mount in the near future: a-zdarts.com/products/target-mod-mount
No, the MOD system does not provide any automatic scoring and does not have an app/software associated with it - it's just a series of individual products for home board setup/mounting that work synergistically together to provide a seamless playing experience.
I bought one, too expensive, the aspire dart board is not good, come on target give us a decent board to complete the hub, I like the idea, I changed board to the Shot Bandit board (great)
Looks amazing keep up the amazing work Jenn and AZ darts Crew
Love you Jen

@@azdarts Look forward to seeing if it is possible. Thanks for entertaining my idea. :)
Any luck with this?
Can you use a different surround (other brand) with this setup or will a lager surround won´t fit? A different dartboard will not be a problem.

It could be used with a GranBoard 3s??? 🤔 thanks
Thanks Jen , nice review & looks a neat and functional system, starts getting pricey once you get a few add ons though.
It's definitely an investment to start decking out the system with some accessories, but a nice aspect is the ability to slowly upgrade over time.

@@JenMountsDarts Will it take an iPad mini for scoring?
@@iaingking No i believe they are just a touch too wide. I'll think maybe 3 1/2 inches possibly 4 is the max width for that phone mount accessory.
hub does not have right holes to be able to mount gran board 123 as it seems?

you are correct..this device is for convenience and ease of use
Can I use this with an winnmaue edge mount?
Does it come with a US plug if purchased through A-Z or is an adapter needed?
Hi TJ, you will not need an adapter - it is a US plug 👍
Can the mod be used with a granboard 3s or granboard dash?

@@azdarts that’s unfortunate
Does anyone know if the MOD system will help with the sound and vibration to avoid annoying neighbours? Thank you

Assuming this will work with a winmau blade 6 board?
Yes as mentioned in the Darts Hub section of the video, you can mount the Hub to any available steel tip dartboard that you currently have!

Any idea if the phone mount can hold a small tablet?
It cannot, however, I have to speculate that in the future a tablet mount accessory will become available.
🤘
Does it not count automatically?
