In a room full of theatre kids who are willing to do any outrageous thing for a laugh it is so fucking hilarious Mark gave the most bizarre out of pocket lines
She isn't hosting! She's the emcee! Get your shirt right! My god! Btw, don't get upset, I'm just doing the bit where they were confused about the terminology of who is the host and who is the emcee.
i think mark singing "do you have an eating disorder?" is the hardest i have ever cracked up at a single line in my entire life. i had tears streaming down my face, christ above. i'm not even halfway through but jude is absolutely KILLING it. i'm begging you for more
Huge appreciation to whoever did the audio work for this episode. The reverb as they sing, the way the backing piano somehow continues even into the cast interview segments, just *chefs kiss*
Michelle's vocal ability is pretty amazing, but her ability to use it with such great comedic timing is so damn good. So fun to have a musical episode.
Whoever came up with the idea of taking an already convoluted game and turning it into a musical, is some sort of sick, twisted, evil genius. 10/10 would recommend

I think the musical element of this actually made this less upsetting than usual. I also fully screamed when mark yelled “bilbo!!!! Is that an animal??”
This worked better with the format than the Disent ep, because the MC asked the group for suggestions and they could play them. Braden told the Dissent team what they’d have to do and they didn’t know the references.
smart choice to let the broden brand recover for a while before he’s in another episode. also, this episode wasn’t upsetting, it was joyful and relaxing
I find these shows impossible to describe, they're just a bizarre experience where you're along for the ride as a watcher. I really enjoy when someone breaks and the cutaways to them after the show. You folks did an excellent job developing the format. Also such a good job bullying Mark.
Jude and the piano really adds a lot ot the emotional highs and lows of this ordeal. The hopeful rise when Mark figures out the Julia Roberts quirk was a highlight.
This is my favourite one yet, everyone fucking BODIED this. Most cancellable Mark incidents yet. I want a full musical surrounding the 2006 Garnier Girlfriend Model Search campaign.
I laughed so hard i woke up my daughter who is sick and was off school today and really needed an early night but she pissed around too much and we got mad and she cried but then she fell asleep and I thought I should watch a cheeky episode and I laughed and she woke up and now everyone is mad at me but I'm not mad cos this was so funny. Thank you.
The musical part was hilarious, but having more complicated prompts and less of them goes a lot better I think. I Stan adding fluff and throwing Mark through the loop
This was probably the most enjoyable upsetting guessing game in the world done. Singing and Music really made this an entirely different feel. Great job everyone. I would definitely put all of you in your respective quirk roles, if I had the power, again. Second times the charm they say.
Last night I had a nightmare that I was in a friend's wedding party, and part of the ceremony was that the whole wedding party had to play this game in front of all the guests, with the groom playing the host. Michelle Brasier was also in the wedding party, and she was performing this incredibly elaborate and hilarious song and dance routine off the cuff to rapturous applause, and then there was me, awkwardly trying to explain that my mother was killed in the French revolution while all the distant cousins booed and hissed. Ruined my night. I took the dog out super early cuz I couldn't fall back asleep.
oneof my favortie parts of watching this is getting distracted by something else for like 2 min, then completely forgetting the characters and rewatching it again multipletimes
Those times when Mark just looks shocked for a second when someone starts singing, i think hes just stunned by how good they all are at coming up with lyrics and melody on the spot that he momentarily genuinely believes that he is on stage in a musical and doesnt know his lines
