Another big track to click us over 4000 subscribers - thank you to everyone who listens and enjoys the music! Today's recording is taken from a early 80's repress of Led Zeppelin II (this one for anyone interested: www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-Led-Zeppelin-II/release/4240941) Enjoy! 👍
I have the latest vinyl reissue of this album, and although it's not my favorite Zep album (that honor would have to go to either III or IV), it's always been great to listen, specially with such a fun (and somewhat odd) song at the beginning.
Quite an impressive wobble on the tone arm there! Surprisingly it isn't affecting the audio signal, at least not to my ears. A wow and flutter meter may say differently. Funny I've just been playing the remastered Zep I-III today as well.
UA-cam applied -4.4DB RMS peak noise reduction to Phil’s upload. The more applied the more impact on perceived sound quality. I’m working on a theory that having 0.0db applied by controlling RMS would enable YT to not touch the audio track aside from codec transcoding. Have seen some record label uploads hit this possibly deliberately. From my own videos, I’ve had the mix of certain songs in a comp skewed after heavy overall YT NR.

Makes you fall in love with that song again.
Yo! One of my all time favourites from Zeppelin, beautiful sound, nothing like vinyl ! 👌

Yes the record is a little warped, I was equally surprised it was not audible!
@@AudioPhil1 The engineering of tone arms, cartridges and needles has always AMAZED me!
Whole lotta love ...

Hi , I would like to request "mercy street" from Peter Gabriel on the album "SO"
Leave it with me!
Those 2000+ era remasters really didn't help retain this music's appeal. Everything is not squeaky clean here and that how we likes it. ...
X que no escucho el bajo igual! No entiendo. Tengo el lp igual. Con tornamesa AKAI
......And then I put on Led Zep and things took another turn........😁
No es rumble. Te truena los que vibran

I don't know why there companies always think they can do better and "fix" your video for you.@@excrono
