I’m tired of the CT girl answering New Haven in all of these videos like she clearly hasn’t been outside of New Haven...and the most hipster city in CT is actually West Hartford
True, but Carborro was the first to come to my mind just like the guy in the video. Asheville is getting insanely expensive and more yuppies are moving there and many hipsters can’t afford it. Carborro has a HUGE indie music scene and a lot of young people in our state are living and moving there because it’s close to the triangle area but costs less.

In my experience that's only been a recent thing with the Northeast and North Loop areas. I'm in Elliot Park and the hipsters wouldn't be caught dead heading DT. And Duluth is just college kids who wanna get high in the boundary waters. That's what every Minosatan wants lol

Jaclyn I know I was like???? Minneapolis is the ultimate hipster hangout
If anyone says something besides uptown Minneapolis, they are wrong lol 😂
"Oh, salt lake city, i'm offended you would even ask that" she really didn't let us utahns down
Sugar City. It is Sugar City. Then Park City. Then Moab. Then Salt Lake City and Ogden. I have been to and worked in those cities and now live in Seattle. Those are the places that are hipster in Utah.
@Jo Simpson lol
@@tenghenglong Ogden? Are you sure?
i would definitely say salt lake city especially sugar house area. Ogden is second in my opinion but it’s coming around.
SLC is a dump
The Alaska guy always has it easy. He just needs to say “I don’t know” or “we don’t have one” to any question and people wouldn’t disagree 🤣
Boen Hang I live and Alaska and yeah we really don't have one
Awesome Angler 25 😆
Girdwood. Literally a town of granola.
I’d say Girdwood. Definitely. Maybe Homer or Talkeetna if you want to stretch it
Three Queens One Crown Girdwood and Talkeetna definitely
Interviewer: What is the most hipster city in your state?
Alaska guy: *HAHAHAHAHAHAHA*
Ann Arbor is DEF the hipster city of Michigan, close second: Ferndale.
I thought it would be Grand Rapids
Gavin Schaffner East GR definitely cause that’s where all the college kids moved to 💀 I hate driving over there lol
Deff East town in Grand Rapids
Don’t forget midtown near Wayne State and Cass Corridor.
100% agree. u of m is super hipster
Um Asheville is THE hipster city. Not just in North Carolina but the whole south! NC dude got it so wrong
Florida is definitely St Pete... Wynwood isn’t even a city...
Seriously! Wynwood is cool and all, but it's definitely St Pete
St Pete or Gainesville.
That girl had no idea what she was talking about. St. Pete is hipster central lol.
I miss living in St.Pete. That town was my jam. Wynwood is beautiful, but no comparison to St. Pete.
the whole tampa bay region is hipster tbh. st pete, tampa, and clearwater
St. Louis? No, it's definitely Kansas City. There's art, sculptures, grafitti, mom & pop shops, cafes, and hipster fashion everywhere in that city.
see i think people just don't understand springfield missouri is a thing, or at least have never spent time in the REAL part of springfield to know
Came to the comments just to check if anyone else was making a claim for KC. It’s 100% KC and I‘m STL born and raised, but KC is where it’s at.
Kat B i’d argue columbia but yeah st. louis is a brain dead answer
KC is, for sure, the most hipster place in Missouri. Springfield and Warrensburg and Columbia are college towns, but I don’t think it makes it hipster, but STL is not the only place in MO that is a hipster city.
Gotta be Columbia. So much craft beer! Music festival, BBQ festival, and not a large city.
When you’ve been waiting for your state, but they show approximately 0.1 seconds of their answer 😑
When you you finally hear your answer and tune out the other ones for a few seconds.
I AM Nathanael Acquirer of Sounds yep
I know I hate that and they need to go in Alphabetical order.
SC? Cuz that was like .001 seconds
Austin all the way for Texas, keep it weird
lol more like dallas or houston, i still havent went to austin yet ugh
Definitely Austin for sure but parts of Dallas, Houston, and even smaller places like Marfa and Denton are trying to come for that crown
It’s definitely Austin it’s crazy especially by the university
Austin and Austin’s little brother denton
I’ve been to San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and Austin and Austin’s def the most hipster
The Wyoming girl IS a hipster. She should know.
wannyyydilliamsss and Michigan
Birmingham, AL is waaaaay more hipster than Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa is just a college town
I was also thinking Huntsville too lol
Thank you!
Seriously! They need a new Alabama guy.
Yeah need a new Alabama guy for sureeee.
Huntsville or Birmingham for sure.
Once again i find myself dumbfounded by why it isn't in alphabetical order😤
Rosin Rose because then you’ll skip directly to your state, and not watch the rest, and they probably lose money for that.
So you have to watch the whole video lol
It’s easy to say SF is the most hipster city in California. But rich hipsters don’t count. It’s either Davis or Berkeley.
Vic G or humboldt
thank you! berkeley 100%!
I would argue his pointing out that the youth are homeless means he's not necessarily referring to rich hipsters
@@geegeezlouis86 I think the Oregon guy said that about Portland and it is true - there are so many 'homeless' there!
Long beach is also filled with hipsters
they should have one person for nyc and one for ny state because the answers would be so different
adriana facts
So what would the answer be for NY upstate?
@@soccerchamp0511 ithaca
@@soccerchamp0511 Beacon
@@soccerchamp0511 Ithaca for sure
Asheville is the most hipster city in NC, not Carrboro.
NC guy is wrong....Asheville is DEFINITELY more hipster lol😂
I’m literally just going through and liking all the Asheville comments lol
same
I literally clicked on this video to see if they said Asheville
Something tells me he’s only been to carrboro😪
We always visit there when we drive up to Minnesota. Hipster af but super fun. They have a great community
Maryland Girl: “Fort Washington”
Me: “I’m-.....what?”
Agreed. That was some uhhhh bs
Barely even a city like..
that threw me off too😂
It’s definitely Hampden
she said it for like every video too🤦♂️
The fact that Washington said the most hipster is Seattle..... have you ever been to Bellingham dude? Jesus Christ
Bellingham is definitely way more hipster then Seattle
Seattle isn’t even hipster. It’s way more pretentious if anything. Bellingham is hipster incarnate.
THANK YOU
nah... seattle has a lot of hipsters, man
I KNOWW
I’m tired of the CT girl answering New Haven in all of these videos like she clearly hasn’t been outside of New Haven...and the most hipster city in CT is actually West Hartford
This video should be renamed to: cities with the largest Universities in them.
Jude Xavier right. They said Columbus even though if you really know Ohio, Yellow Springs is the most hipster
I can't believe you didn't say Asheville, NC is a hipster city
That was most hipster thing is to say a city that wasnt Asheville
True, but Carborro was the first to come to my mind just like the guy in the video. Asheville is getting insanely expensive and more yuppies are moving there and many hipsters can’t afford it. Carborro has a HUGE indie music scene and a lot of young people in our state are living and moving there because it’s close to the triangle area but costs less.
Elizabeth Coyotl YEESSSS. Asheville could give Portland a run for its money!
Doesn’t Asheville have the most micro breweries per square mile in the entire US or something?
Never in my 21 years of living in Maryland have I heard of a Ft. Washington
really...
well ill tell u my grandad lives down there (do u know oxon hill? ft washington is down by the national harbor) and for a 15 year old its bland af nothing to do out there other than the harbor which no one wants to go to all the time
idk what she thinks its hipster for but we dont claim her
Prince George's County :)
@@ayah2114 mood
Unless Hamden moved out overnight like the Colts, I'm pretty sure it's Baltimore.
This b says fort washington for EVERYTHING
The woman who said St. Louis is straight lyin. St Louis is a ghost town. Kansas City is way more hipster.
nah
Kansas City has the most hipsters in the West Bottoms
I would have said Columbia for Missouri. Those Mizzou kids are ALL hipsters.
Right?!!
@Emily Turner I live in Columbia. Try to walk 10 feet without seeing one. It's not even the college kids, it's everywhere.
Top 5 most hipster towns in the country:
1. Portland, OR
2. Asheville, NC
3. Austin, TX
4. Boulder, CO
5. Bushwick/Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY
Let the debate begin!
addison debter Silver Lake, CA
yes, the austin respect B)
Mike Jim and San Francisco
I cannot disagree with Austin
addison debter bushwick/williamsburg should be bumped to 2 for sure
What's with the Minnesota girl giving Stillwater as an answer for every question 🤦🏾♀️
Ikr
Thank you. It’s Minneapolis no question.
RIGHT!
Or Duluth
the only thing Stillwater is is a tourist trap. not hipster at all.
Girl...the most hipster city in MN is Duluth OR Minneapolis ....every Minnesotan knows that. Stillwater is just a suburb..
100% minneapolis for older (also lots of young!) hipster-y people, duluth for more college-age hipster-y people tbh
In my experience that's only been a recent thing with the Northeast and North Loop areas. I'm in Elliot Park and the hipsters wouldn't be caught dead heading DT.
And Duluth is just college kids who wanna get high in the boundary waters. That's what every Minosatan wants lol
RIGHT OMG they need to get rid of that yuppie stillwater girl
Preach
The whole state is hipsters
Let's be real
Fuckin bad weather and degenerates hippies
How dare y’all do North Carolina dirty every time. It’s Asheville. And everyone knows it. 😂
That’s hipster, but popular is Charlotte. I love both
Get Arkansas a new rep please. The obvious answer is Fayetteville
Cody Mitchell222 agreed.
Thank you!! Anyone how’s lived in AR for like more than 2 years knows it’s on the hill!!!
Cody Mitchell222 agree
obviously!! i can’t believe she didn’t know...
Eureka Springs?
How the Massachusetts woman chose Brighton over Cambridge or Somerville is beyond me 🤦♀️
she’s clueless
I was looking for a comment like this lmao. I would’ve said Cambridge for sure
Came here looking for this comment... BRIGHTON?!?
i expected somewhere out in western mass like northampton tbh
Brighton isn’t even a city it’s a part of Boston
Actually, Berkeley is more hipster than San Francisco. Trust me.
Silverlake by LA, ugggghhhhh
Nah I definitely think SF has Berkeley beat especially during parade season 😬 and they even have hippie hill but Berkeley should have definitely been named
@@vinnietheb1318 Silverlake's in LA. & I definitely wouldn't say it's more "hipster" than parts of SF, Berkeley, or Oakland.
@@PeachyBeachBum You're right, Berkeley and SF are more hippie than hipster. The stereotype archetype for California is NOT Los Angeles, but rather, specifically and exclusively Silverlake.
wait until y'all go to davis
Alright I’m boycotting the GA guy. Athens is famous for being the hipster city in GA, he doesn’t have an accent, he’s out
Yeah I would’ve 100% said Athens. He’s clearly never left Atlanta.
I say it’s between Athens and Atlanta, even tho I don’t live in these 2 cities
It’s definitely Athens, the only hipsters part of Atlanta left would be EAV, cabbagetown or Old Fourth Ward
Athens was hipster before hipster was cool 😃
does Columbus just not exist to you people? there's a shocking large number of hipsters there for a city on the Alabama border
