I feel sorry for all the hardcore ff fans that went out and bought a ps3 for this game and now its been moved. They could've at least released for ps3 alongside ps4 and Xbox One because honestly going back on an official announcement is just messed up.
I originally bought the ps3 for this game. I don't regret my purchase as it's been worth it, but I am upset that they went multiplatform. Square had promised that the game would be exclusive because they made 13 multiplatform.
Xerazal It doesn't really matter if it's multiplatform. The XBOX One won't hold the PS4 version back.

I was that FF fan that purchased a PS3 for this game. And now I have a PS4.. for the same exact reasons again, Final Fantasy Versus XIII AKA FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3. What a world I live in.... BUT IM PROUD OF IT D:
id rather just be ps4 and x1 so theres no parity and a reason to have the fucking ps4/x1

No it was originally a ps3 exclusive but as of e3 2013 it is a Next Gen Multiplat. This shows off the original ps3 in game footage and the new ps4/xone footage from e3

remembering this trailers and having played the FFXV demo, i cant fucking wait.. i must say.. i had more fun on my 4 hours on the demo than FFXIII and FFXIII-2 together..
Who cares about cut scenes? They are often pre-rendered and sometimes filmed. Real gameplay is different.
Promise me, this (Called Final Fantasy XV now) will be the best Final Fantasy of all time.

Idk what happened during the past 10 years but does anyone else think the game play for versus 13 looks smoother than what 15 has? I just played the platinum demo and couldn't help but feel that the combat was choppy to control. versus 13 combat looks like it would have been much smoother

yall obviously haven't played the game yet .. I'm a fan of final fantasy n I must say this game is up there... this game is very entertaining and ppl that are new to FF can enjoy this the graphics n fluidity in combat are dope af

Behemoths, and malboros, and cactuars, and iron giants, and uchus, and adamantoises, and ahrimans and tonberries...there's a lot of recurring monsters in the series.

Gameplay was ripoff ...magic now suck and limited. .combos are meaningless. Terrible empty open world
PS4's is infinitely better. Looks almost real.
Why did they stop the development for the PS3 version???
This proved that PS3 was capable to run FFXV, not everyone can get a PS4...
Rocket 69 Well while these scenes run on ps3, they had to scale back alot of things they wanted to do. all they could do with the crystal engine were bigger levels, but they could not create a true openworld. thats when they created the Luminous engine but at the time this version was ready the ps4 was already well into launch and the final version of the engine performed poorly on the ps3
that's because it's CGI, the beginning of the ps4 part of the video it shows CGI and not in-game fotage, i am worried, i can't see as big of a in-game difference as i would like, compared to other ps4 games it just doesn't look as good, and that's annoying me, seeing as FF is my favorite francise, but the gameplay nearly looks like out could be pulled of on ps3 if the ps3 was pushed to it's limits.
