- This is the multi shot cousin of the fantastic Typhoon rifle. The Typhoon and the T12 are lightweight PCP rifles that can be used for a multitude of different shooting sports.
The FX rifles have a very simple operating method, which allow them to be a great deal more reliable than other rifles with more complex systems.
The Barrel is FXs own design (Smooth Twist) and is produced in Germany by Lothar Walther to the greatest of standards, ensuring the best in precision and accuracy.
The Air Cylinder is very lightweight and can hold up to 185cc of air. This means the rifle can achieve a massive 100 shots from an approx 210 BAR fill.
The stock is very well crafted and is also ambidextrous which allows it be more flexible.
thank you to FX for letting me use their advertising site too promote this gun.
please like and sub for more info and comment blow if there is anything I can help you with.
These are really good, I used to have one and regret selling it, fx got the valve and hammer system absolutely spot on the point till its producing very low fps variation. The old distributor of this gun in the uk whenever one got sent back they had a special procedure of polishing the smooth twist barrel. It shot great after you got it back but after reading a fx forum post that after it had a polish, if you lead in polished barrel with around 500 shots then clean it with a dry cotton pull through and shot it the accuracy was improved. I tried this on the smooth twist and the accuracy was mind blowing with the right jsb exact 4.52, grouping tight even out to 70-80 metres
Thanks for the comment. I will try this today. I do agree with you about FX.The gun is very reliable and rewarding to shoot. What do you shoot with now?
Thanks for watching. 👍
@@AndrewSkipp Hi, I went on to get a fx Wildcat Mk1 and I'm smitten with this FX, amazing piece of kit and also got a hw100 kt laminate, this is a lot different to the Wildcat but in a good way. It keeps up with the Wildcats accuracy and the trigger is amazing.
@@andyvolvo2614 aaarr a bullpup guy. Very nice and I do like the side cocking handle. Nice bit if kit. 👍
@@AndrewSkipp absolutely w@nk to cock though, the lever goes forward super smooth but pulling back feels like it`s a file - completely underwhelming
@@baldwelder8775 sad. Is it that gun do you think. Mine seems really nice to use. Shame.
Fab Gun 👏👏
Video regarding fitting the bipod would be nice
But not that long. I removed the barrel and drilled the stock. If your planing to do this be aware it needs to be right in the middle of the stock as mine is a little off which is a pain.
@@AndrewSkipp could you do a short video showing it please.
@@BazAmanda60 will do. 👍
You need to get a decent scope how you hit anything I am amazed it is a cracking gun for that money
Thanks you for taking the time to comment. It is a lovely gun for the budget. I thought the Scope was ok, what would you advise I get? Again thanks for your time bud. Andy
Want one as my first pcp but the waiting time for delivery is 4 to 6 weeks, too much temptation out there for similar priced guns
I know. I was the same when I was looking for my first one. I think they are all very similar as they shoot lead as the thing you point it at. The gas tube is quite small on the FX but I found it was fine when I’m shooting. Could be a pain if you fill up with a pump. The gas tank was expensive but a real must. Good luck and let me know what you go for. 🙀
@@AndrewSkipp I walked into a shop today and held the BSA Ultra CLX which I hadn't given much consideration too in the past, that little gem has now put a spanner in the works lol.
@@Qwcgvv wood stock? Looks really nice..
@@AndrewSkipp Yes it's a beech stock
I’ve been forced to comment;-;
YES YOU HAVE. Next I’ll force you to watch my video too.
Hi, I bought one of these recently brand new. and the bolt action on mine is not smooth at all, quite stiff to say the least, and im having a lot of trouble using the magazine pellets. It can shoot singles. but the magazine doesnt seem to allow me to shoot from it.. any tips?
Silly question! Are you putting the pellets the right way round? Also make sure the magazine is lined up right. If it’s the one that came with the gun it should be fine. If it’s not right take it back to the shop. It’s down to them to make good. Let me know.
@@AndrewSkipp yes they are, but it grinds whether it is loaded or not, guy at the shop, berates them for the brass bolt.... I don't know about that but I do know it's shite and fx have basically said suck it up, it's how they are
Just take it back, straight up, don't let them push you for a repair, ask for a refund. It isn't worth the waiting around to see what fx say, they already told me that it is standard. Look around it isn't overly common but fx seem to think sub-standard is OK.
Hi there Bi bi.Was your papa in the movies?.Does the name (Gump)say anything to ya?.
how many times can it shoot until you need to re pump?
I’m to lazy to re pump. I got a bottle… I found it can do about 5 mags before the pressure got low. It still shot fine but you see the pellets drop a bit more. Also I have left the gun for 5 weeks and it holds the air really well.
Adding a video just for you. Adding a bipod to my FX. hope it helps and thanks for the request. Have a great weekend.
Does it have a pressure gauge
No. I understand you can connect a FX gauge to it. I was something I was looking for when I was looking. To be honest. You can tell when the fps is low by the sound of the shot or how hard it hits. I always test it on my bottle before shooting anyway. Are you thinking of getting a gun for Christmas?
How many yard you doing
Think it’s about 27 yards
How much you got it this Iove kit
I assume your asking the price
It cost me £450 second hand. £100 for the tank, £20 for the by-pod and £18 for the pellets. Not cheep but money well spent I think. Thank you for the comment and I hope you liked the video.👍
In you video you put up the power 36 jules or 27 pounds that's a fire arms license only allowed 16 jules or 12 pounds of energy in uk 🇬🇧 dubble check power output for safety or a prison sentence
Thank you Robert. That is clearly my mistake. The gun was brought through a proper gunsmith so I know it’s within the uk rules. I’m unsure where that number came from. I will have to chrono it and update. Thank you for taking the time to point that out.🙀
I got one in 6,35in vulnut.EXTREEMLY god trigger. The magazine is too big so the the scope is to far from the barrel.
Shame. I would have thought the walnut is v nice. I think I used a mid scope mount which gave just enough height. How did you find the range and targeting?
@@AndrewSkipp The grouping at 50m are 5cm or less.6,35 is not so sensetive to sidewind. It`s like a mortar, you can se the bullet thru the scope.
@@urbankotto9685 nice. A real gun. 👍
