I love the way these old films were done. The slow camera movement, the sounds, the pov shot from kareem, the music, just marvelous. Now everything is quick cuts, can't stand it because it's intentionally disorienting. They let scenes breath back then. It wasn't aimed at adults with severe cases of adhd.
What I Like about Bruce is the Impact and fortitude that resonates till this day. Even though he has crossed over and this life continues he has left behind a frame of work expressing the truth in who he is. The Dragon 🐲 R.I.P.
Wasn't one of my top fight scenes until I watched this edit. What a difference. Seeing Bruce slowly figuring out how to fight this giant of a man made it much more intense plus you saw a lot more of Bruce in action. A fantastic job and so much better than the official release.
this was such a deep psychological movie. This was not about marital arts but about Life. Life is basically a Game of Death. and it is not over until we die
A teacher and pupil moment, where KAJ gets to show his teacher his form and what he’s learned, and Bruce Lee really selling and showcasing the power behind every kick and blow KAJ lands. It’s actually quite wholesome
I think the full version is Lee’s best fight scene. It’s symbolic of Lee’s unorthodox fighting style that quickly assessed an opponent’s style and strengths, and then exploited his weaknesses. Even though Kareem had the size and strength advantages, Lee was faster and stayed in close to keep Kareem from fully extending his strikes and kicks.
Until now we will never know what Bruce Lee's actual concept and direction of The Game of Death. If he had a chance to live to finish this, The Game Of Death could've been the greatest martial arts movie Bruce ever made.
I read a few years after his death that for Game Of Death there were to be 7 levels in the Pagoda and that he was to fight warriors on each level, each with unique skills that Bruce would have to first figure out in order to adapt his style to beat them. I think it could well have been his greatest film if he could have completed it. Enter The Dragon was great but John Saxon got billed above him. Come on!
Bruce never wrote the ending of this flim as you know ,he stopped fliming in oct 72 to start filming ETD in jan 73 ,,plus did you realise the mistake bruce made afther he killed jabbar as he was suppose to go upstairs and retrieve the treasure,,but instead he went downstairs,, but i might be wrong
Bruce Lee would have gone on a higher floor if finish and go after the the boss to save his sister and brother or any thing he can think of for the ending of the movie

Hello everyone here. I am the person who like studying Chinese "Kung fu" and Martial art world in general . Nice to make friend with you all in here! :)
Fun fact: When Kareem fixed his glasses, he never had too, because to keep his sunglasses in place he had a strap that camouflaged with his hair, but to symbolize that the character was actually breaking a sweat he made it look as though the sunglasses were sliding off.
he was only 32, so recently started with no or a very little budget and against many odds, if he would have lived.. the magic and philosophy he would have left would have been so much greater, died toooooooo soon, f drugs! 😐
He did leave a whole lot behind for his legacy. At 32, he managed to leave an imprint on our lives till this very day. You can not go without saying Bruce Lee when it comes to boxing mixed martial arts or other notable mentions whom he inspired and are still around till this day. He had a huge impact. Drugs, maybe. But his use of water consistently may have drowned his brain. Or his removal of sweat glands which expels toxins from body. Or his 14hr workout regimes.
