    Get the free gift and black belt memory course at the link above. Get the memory training free gift.
    Why can't I remember anything? That is a question a lot of people ask themselves. We begin to wonder if something is wrong with us or what is the reason that we can't remember anything.
    So here is why you can't remember anything. First of all, you may need to realize that your memory is actually much better than you think it is. You can probably remember a car accident from 20 years ago because your memory is actually pretty good.
    Your brain will remember action and emotion and this is why you remember things long term. In other words there was a lot of action or emotion plus you also remember what you review.
    Your expectations must be realistic in regards to your memory.
    Paying attention is the first key to your memory. Sleep, good nutrition and exercise all improve your memory. Do your best to get 8 hours of sleep every night.
    When you get plenty of sleep your brain will replay what you learned during the day.

      @@nerymuniz6427 you can if you focus on your breathing. Slow down your breathing, don’t wait to get to the end, or beginning of your breath, just breath slowly and gently while focusing on your breath, and feel any emotions that come up, without judgement. You feel like you can’t control your emotions, because they haven’t been released out of your nervous system, and body.

    There are things I TRY to remember and I just keep on forgetting. While there a things that STICK like glue that I put no effort into. Sometimes I might hear someone telling or repeating a phone number and all the next day I remember the number, but if try to remember it then it might get harder. Sometimes I think the process of trying to remember, Yeah that conscious effort to remember, interrupts the process of memory recall.

    I've been struggling with remembering my memories of my childhood or just things in general. My mom died last year and it was a year long terrible process so I understand that could be part of it, but it felt like it was happening before then. I feel foggy, tired and not crisp in my brain. It has been frustrating for years and I keep fearing I'm going to forget everything. I can't even remember what I did yesterday very well and don't even ask me about the week. I also played video games a long time and watched a lot of UA-cam and I know that didn't help. I feel so defeated.

    2 minutes in
    So he gives the funny real life scenarios and examples of not being able to memorize what you tried to memorize like an example is studying for an exam but not remembering anything that you took the day after. Then he tells us the viewers about his experiences with people coming up to him saying their memory is terrible or they can't seem to remember anything and Ron White simply provides the fact that it is indeed not their memory that is bad, but their expectations in a trying to be polite and friendly as possible manner. He then gives us examples of you being able to remember old memories in full detail even when it was years ago which is honestly in my opinion plausible as to the fact that my memory is not bad. It's just I wasn't focused on it entirely.

    My new job is a server assistant at a high-end five star restaurant. So things like remembering food items, table numbers, how to interact with customers, etc.

    • @hxhdfjifzirstc894
      @hxhdfjifzirstc894 2 роки тому

      Practice over and over and your memory will adapt to remember customers and EXACTLY what they ordered, until the end of your shift. Then your brain will delete it and make room the the next day's customers. You don't need to store it forever, and memory adapts.
      Begin logically. You need to know everything that is on the menu, down to the last condiment. This way, you can exclude possibilities that are not even available at the restaurant -- it's much easier to remember only the relevant food items, instead of trying to remember whether they wanted pasta fazul, or baba ganoush.

    It’s kinda weird! I’m a plumber sometimes in 6 -7 different houses/homes a day. I push my self to live in the moment, to access parts of my brain for that do emotional scanning or fear factors, I do this because not everyone wants a gold plated heated toilet that cleans itself, I need to be able to read people! I need to be able to access the fear of the client when I’m sawing a water line and something blows up down the line that’s not isolated. When I live in other peoples shoes I can’t not remember things. Is it worth it to live in the moment if you forget them?

In order to cope up you are using games to escape your reality. There is nothing wrong with you. You already seem to be aware of how your behavior is affecting your life. So remember what I said and be brave and face your problems. Seek support if you have someone you can trust. Study atleast one topic everyday and make sure you understand it.
