Watching you do this makes me think about a stack of three ring binders and how pretty those would look on a shelf! I have certain nursing school books I have kept for reference and they are usually out of sight but now I might have to bring them out!
@@IronOrchidDesigns - Yes it worked perfect. I may need to switch to this, been keeping mine in scrapbooking paper containers. I like that the envelopes are easy to hang.
You know it! Carmen has done it all! I believe she had a tutorial for that on her channel: ua-cam.com/channels/xGAuvxfA6GKAq9QEn7OITA.html If not, ask her and she'll surely do one for you. :)
Hi Jan! This is one of our guests, so I am unsure what type of brush she is using, my apologies! Welcome to our channel! We're so happy to have you here🤗❤️
Hi from the UK - I think the finished books look beautiful but I am uneasy about destroying book covers. Why not use empty box files to get the same effect - then they can also be used for pretty and practical document storage?? Thanks.
Yes! Definitely add a quick top coat before applying the transfer because the old books can be a little flakey and unpredictable. Wouldn't want the paint to pull up with the transfer on it. :)
Hello I have a question...what is the term for the process of printed transfer plastic and is done using only ink or printed on something else...thanks
@@IronOrchidDesigns Hello... I am trying to find out what the process of the "making" of the transfer is called...it is ink on plastic or ink over something else. I have been doing some search but i can not find the name of the process so manybe i can find paper and print my own design...thanks
Not a transfer, but if we had to guess, it's probably a decoupage paper. You message Carmen on her Facebook page directly , she'll definitely let you know where/how she got it. 😆 facebook.com/CarmensCuriosityShop
So beautiful! Carmen creates the most fabulous things. She is also an amazing teacher. Kind, beautiful and sweet also! 💕

Hi from the UK - I think the finished books look beautiful but I am uneasy about destroying book covers. Why not use empty box files to get the same effect - then they can also be used for pretty and practical document storage?? Thanks.
That's a great idea! You could also cover the books with paper and then rub the transfer on the paper, if you wanted to preserve the book cover. :)
Great video! Where did the fork transfer come from? I would love to get my hands on that. 😁
Haha! Everyone loves that fork! It was from a piece of decoupage paper - I don't remember which brand (sorry!).
Luv it
Hooray! Thanks for watching.
Hermoso!!!😍😍😍
❤️❤️❤️
Hi from NewZealand
Welcome, Judy!
Did you top coat before the transfer?

Amei!
🤗❤❤
Q: The book that is used to brace the other books has a fork on it… Is that a transfer? If so, where did that come from? 🤗

OMG!!! YOU'VE OUTDONE YOURSELF!!
Woot! That's hard for Carmen to do because she is always pushing the creative boundary.
Hi from CALIF?
