NVIDIA will never make an OP monster like this again.
It seems like no one understood my point.
For the value, a card that can still run games very well over 5 years later, is a fighting monster. You could have skipped 20 series, 30 series, and at this point even 40 series, considering their absolutely unreasonable price, and still be fine. Specially considering the 30 series was barely ever at MSRP. NVIDIA not only made a very powerful GPU at the time, they made the money worth every penny and still is if you still have one to this date. Specially considering the sheer hecking power draw and size of the new cards and hot temperatures. Not to forget the burning adapter incidents.

Hey zWORMz another great video, I have to say I think the minecraft series benchmark videos you do are some of my fav ones! but stay cool over there hope you were able to cool down a bit after the video! Just wanted to quickly mention, there is a setting in the "SEUS Renewed" shaders I think you'll really like a lot. The settings is under POST PROCESSING settings, Its the TONEMAP OPERATOR settings, Change that to ACES and see what you think. This makes that shader A LOT better, a lot more vibrant without over-exposure, its just about perfect, and I know you had some issues with SEUS Renewed and the way it looks, so just try that.
Love ya videos dude, this was another awesome one! the 1080 TI was just a beast. I have a feeling the 4070 is going to be the go-to card for the next generation for cost-to-performance.

Kryzzp, use sodium+Iris, not for more FPS, but because of the Optifine limitation. It's a notable difference between the two. (vram management is one of the differences between sodium+iris and Optifine).
He should review the fabulously optimized modpack

I'd love to have a modern look at the 2080ti in multiple modern and not-so-modern games.
It is discontinued and overpriced if you manage to find it. There is already a 3070 video.

i recommend you use iris and sodium instead of optifine
i've tried it and it's actually making alot more fps for me
but the reason for the fps is... i think it loads on the gpu more instead of cpu and ram because yeah my gpu was at 100% while playing minecraft
this is a fabric mod which requires minecraft fabric and fabric API
(iris is for shaders, makes a new video settings tab, sodium is that one mod which makes minecraft load on gpu more)
there is also some optifine mods like zoom and dynamic lights, they also exist for fabric but you just gotta find them
there is an additional version for fabric like optifine, it comes when you install fabric, you can go back to optifine if you want or if the performance goes down if that is possible somehow

Ehy zWORMz, i really love your videos and watch a lot of them, so i want to give you a tip to help the fps in minecraft benchmarks
Instead of using only optifine for both forge and fabric there are 2 simple mods that crush optifine performances and they are respectevly:
For fabric: Sodium and Iris (iris is for shaders)
If you use forge: Rubidium is as solid as sodium and Oculus is basically iris but for forge

hey, incase you ever get a gpu that doesn't reach 100 % usage in minecraft with shaders, you can use a diffrent mod called iris shaders, it works together with sodium and it will fully optimize the game and use more of the % so you can get higher fps

i found out that places with building decrease fps significantly with seus PTGI, in my case its drop from 100 to 50 fps

I actually tried to install RTX shaders for minecraft when I had a 1080 ti and the FPS tanked to 5-12 lol. It still runs everything without Ray tracing no matter how many texture and shader mods are added, though I have a 3080 Ti now I'm keeping my 1080 Ti for my second PC until it dies.

I think you plugged in the display cable to the integrated graphics
try doing it into the external GPU, it might help.
the temperature of GPU and CPU are very op . Fore some second i see 69° degree in gpu and in cpu

I mean, the 1080-Ti is significantly faster than an RTX 3060, so.. it should absolutely run this game with no problem

The 1080ti isn't "significantly" faster. Specially with the new drivers for the rtx 3060, the rtx 3060 and the 1080 ti are pretty much identical so 🤷🏻♂️

I like that you look at more older gpus. Keep up the good work. but stop using just optifine. use iris and sodium more often especially on older gpus. It uses gpu more than cpu
What are these cpu temps, over 80 degrees sometimes
there are also the shaders called sildrus enhanced default they are like the lagless but with actual shadows and reflections and a lot of ppl use them
and for EXTREME TOASTERS (like me running hd graphics 520), use chocapic13's hpfs low
Could I recommend using Iris shaders instead of Optifine because of the better performance uplift and since Iris is able to utilise the whole GPU properly and not run into optifine's engine limits ?

Personally I'd be using Iris on my main rig but some mods just require optifine to work (lowresbones trailer style)

he actually told the reason in a video, he said it stutters with sodium and iris and most of the people with high end systems don't play with sodium anyway.
@@LevenZ69 well Optifine can actually run into its own limits on high end systems and leave the GPU at 50% sometimes, like in my system where as Iris can fully utilise my GPU

Nvidia thought amd was coming out with a monster so they made a monster to beat their monster, but the1080ti was unmatched until amd released the 5700xt 2 years later. They over did it and and hopefully they'll do it again.

I was running Minecraft on a 3060ti and my fps kept dropping I don’t play I wanted to use it mainly as an fps check and something was wrong. Anyone know what could it be? FPS seems accurate on other games tho
Anisotropic filtering drops FPS a lot in this game!
Use Sodium with Fabric instead of Optifine/Vanilla, it should run a lot more stable (not necessarily higher framerate but better frametimes and less stutter)
And maybe Starlight too but it depends for that one
Edit: and the stutters are not caused by the gpu btw, MC is cpu "intensive" unless you're using shaders where the gpu becomes the limiting factor (though not in all cases like with PTGI where it increases cpu load as well because of BVH construction and whatnot)
