You can also try Continuum rt. They are fully ray traced (seus ptgi combines rasterization and ray tracing), which makes them insanely demanding, but non rasterazed lighting looks far more natural. To fully appreciate rt reflections there are a lot of pbr texture packs, whose keep vanilla style, but makes block react with light like complementary does (since those have automatically calculated pbr in deafult).

You can always change the shader presets. If you click on shader options you can lower it down to a lower preset and still have it look really nice with the water and lighting but perform a lot better

Hey Kryzzp you may try to make a loadstone and compass place the loadstone near your home and then pair a compass with it the compass will always locate you towards the loadstone ie your home (it is expensive method) OTHERWISE you may note coordinates of your home by clicking f3 ( the coords will be at midle left of screen) and whenever you go far away from home then you may check coordinates by clicking f3 and then trace your coordinates while moving to reach home
You can actually configure the sildurs shader to have rain reflection and also light lens ( just like any other shader), btw sildurs can be heavily configured as it has some things automatically not enabled to reduce performance impact, so I suggest u check them out! 🙂

im surprised that it was the anisotropic fittering was the cause of the low FPS but it worked on my GTX 1070 using the Shaders SEUS Renewed getting 100+ FPS in 1080p. wonder how the AMD gpu will go.
In fact I Get 56 Fps on PTGI with 1080p and GTX 1070Ti setup is mind bogling also AMD might Choke on Some Shaders due to API calls Difference(Based on Some shaders devs said in Shaderslabs minecraft shaders Discord)
Can you make a separate minecraft series (pls one in which you don’t benchmark and focus truly on playing the game and communicating with us) (maybe you could even setup a server of sorts so you can play with your viewers). Btw a tip the higher the tail of the “jacks” (:D) the fuller their health is.
Instead of using Optifine use Fabric with Sodium and if you want Shaders also use Iris Shaders mod. Fabric runs way better my FPS gets doubled with it. I think you should test it with also Fabric and Sodium
How did you actually fix the low fps issue you mentioned in the beginning? I'm having a similar problem with the same gpu. and every fix i look for online doesn't work.

You ever do a minecraft bedrock version? 1440p for me I can't get more than 120fps with 30 chunks. Not sure if that's on par or not?

Try to go in the nether. There's an fps drop when you put a bed down there and try it sleep. Been having some issues specially with the new RTX cards
