Beautiful 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic gives me an idea of how to work on my garden
What would i need for sub base
How much soil do i need to remove
I use compacted crushed rock. How much depends on how stable the ground is. 100mm is a safe bet. Then allow for around 20mm of sand. So you will need to dig out 120mm + the thickness of your bricks.
Does it move with just sand? Or do you need some kind of adhesive
Not really. Once the grout is packed in it they stay in place really well. The benefits of sand is that water can still pass through and if the ground shifts slightly it won’t crack like a solid grout will.
@TC_landscapes what type of sand? Beautiful job!
Thanks! It’s washed sand, some places also call it sharp sand.
@@TC_landscapes Thank you
Is it polymeric sand?
How many bricks have been used per sft.?
I use metric so I’m not too sure about sft, sorry! I allow for about 34 bricks per square meter if it helps.
@@TC_landscapes thanks
