    9:42 theres a small hole that needs to match up with the spring-loaded pin that you pulled back and then the pin locks it into place and then you tighten up the knob.

    Hi Andrew you are the best as usual for advising us. I bought a tool like yours of Lidl, my problem is that it starts only for some 4 seconds and then it shuts down, do you know any reason?? Take care and I hope for a fast answer from you. Regards from Greece.

    Having purchased the Petrol version of this Multitool I can tell you it has been a Nightmare!
    Started Ok the first couple of times and then did a very good job but after that it wouldn't Start at all, even though I was careful to mix the right amount of 2 Stroke Oil
    I even spent a whole day trying to start it once but on closer inspection the Spark Plug seemed to always get Oiled up and I have 2 other Petrol Strimmers languishing in my Shed with the very same problem where in fact anything 2 Stroke seems to be incredibly hard to Start
    And so today I have taken it back and got myself a refund and bought myself the Electric one that Andrew is demonstrating together with 2 X 20V 4AH Batteries and while it may cost a little more, I have lots of Lidl Tools that use the very same Batteries, so even in the Winter, they won't be going to waste
    I really love Shopping at Lidl as most of their Tools are absolutely superb where unlike many others Stores they simply do not hesitate to offer you a refund if you have a problem, so I may come back a do a review of how I am finding using the Electric Version

      @@dj1jesus375 Amazing! I can honestly say its one of the Best Tools that I have ever bought, that is very quiet to use and very cheap to run
      While the Petrol version seemed to use more Petrol than my Jag, that is if you can manage to get it started after the first few times of use
      IMO the Battery one is by far and away the only one to get!
      Only takes a few minutes to put together and the 'Bump Feed' has proved faultless but always 'Bump' it on Grass whenever you can
      Its also very powerful and seems to have as much Torque as the Petrol Version and also goes into 'idle mode' until it starts cutting
      At which point it seems to jump up a gear and cuts almost anything it comes across and I haven't had to use the Blade at all
      A really fantastic piece of Kit I wouldn't hesitate to buy again 'its really that good!'

    Hi .Any ideia if there is a way to buy spare parts for lidl such as motor?
    My motor is smoking when i use it. I opened the machine and was the plastic housing that has some play . It then bends the shaft rotor part of the motor (because the bearing sit on the plastic housing and therefore the shaft moves with it)making it grind against the outer part of motor overheating and smoking. Even after re tight the plastic housing and making it straight, after a small impact on thicker grass it comes back to same. Probably design flaw but i was willingly to try to replace motor since i don't have warranty .
    Regards have a nice weekend

      I tried the same with a different tool. Definitive answer... No.
      For this tool, I needed a nut, they replaced the entire tool instead of just giving me a new nut.

    I might have been unlucky, but mine died after 2 very light sessions. Smoke came out of the motor. I returned it and did not want to give it another trial as it is not my first misadventure with parkside tools... 😔

    Good morning! Great video! Thank you! i am thinking on buying this exact same equipment, i will only use the hedge trimmer and the lawn trimmer since thats what i have on my garden (eventually once in a while i can use the other tools). My question is: since i have a short amount of grass and hedges in my garden will it be enough to use the 2Ah batteries? 2x2Ah = 4Ah ... since the workload oh the equipment is 16A / hour does this means the 2x2Ah batteries will last around 15 minutes of use and the 2x 4Ah batteries will last around 30 minutes of use? do you know the duration with the hedge trimmer and the lawn trimmer?? thanks in advance! :)

    Hi. Thanks for the test!
    1. Is it possible to combine 2 Ah + 4 Ah batteries? I have two of them, but not two of each type :D
    2. How long does it stand on/how big area can you trim on single load?

    • @sza2bom
      @sza2bom Рік тому +1

      it is not recommended to combine the 2, if you do, make sure you only use the tool for as much time at maximum as 2 2ah batteries would last you, and then recharge. Mixing them might reduce life of the smaller battery if used too much before charging.

    • @zefautino
      @zefautino Рік тому +1

      1 - No. I tried 2x2Ah and it doesn't work. 1x2Ah +1x4Ah is a bad idea, really bad.
      2 - You can't do much unless is grass. Anything taller and thicker you'll have to work really hard. So area, don't expect a clear answer, time, over 30 minutes.

    What is max continuous usage time on the 2x4Ah batteries?

    • @zefautino
      @zefautino Рік тому

      30 to 45 minutes. It depends if you're cutting grass or something else thicker like brambles.

    • @Amerthyst-br9rx
      @Amerthyst-br9rx Місяць тому

      With 2 X 4AH Batteries it should run for about 1/2 Hour Continuously, not that the average user is probably going to keep the Trigger Pressed for that long time
      Well worth getting this is a great piece of Kit!

    hi, did you have any problem with the chain saw when installing the chain? I have the same toothed nut for the belt drive, but it is not level with the bar so my chain is biting into the bar or the nut. And even in other videos they have completely different designs. Thanks for the info :)

  • @zefautino
    @zefautino Рік тому

    For the ones considering buying this piece of 💩, I bought one. The counter nut for the blade broke. Nothing horrendous, it's not a steel nut, not that tough.
    They took that entire trimmer and gave me another one instead of just replacing the nut.
    Ok, I don't care. But I do. Because the new one is stupid slow, new and fully loaded batteries and it's constantly stopping, forcing me to restart the trigger.
    On top of that, the batteries don't last as long as the old one.
    The chainsaw bit is nothing special, push it and you'll have a surprise.
    It does NOT work with 2Ah batteries. Turns off after 5 to 10 seconds.
    Ergonomics aren't great either, but I believe that's the price one pays for some quietness.
    Anything more than a garden, just buy a decent stihl or Husqvarna.
