- The BYU Cougars added to their offensive line unit with the addition of former Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Isaiah Jatta Monday as he opted to play for Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program over the USC Trojans and Texas State Bobcats, among other interested programs and Jake Hatch believes he has the potential to boost BYU's Big 12 prospects this fall.
Jake then talked with one of Jatta's new teammates and recent NCAA Transfer Portal addition in his own right in Austin Leausa as the Leausa explained his journey from being an undersized lineman in high school, playing for the Southern Utah Thunderbirds and finally getting a chance to suit up for his dream school at Brigham Young University (BYU).
Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts on the nee Big 12 basketball scheduling format next season that will see Kevin Young and the BYU men's basketball program playing 20 Big 12 games over 10 weeks with no byes in the run and Jake believes it will ensure BYU basketball and every other program in the conference will be tested at whole new level in 2024-25.

Colorado’s offensive line was horrid last year, so I’m not too hyped about the Jatta transfer 🤷🏾♂️ hopefully I’m wrong!

Colorado had a terrible O line last season allowing innumerable sacks on Sanders. And Jatta wasn't good enough to even be the starter.
I want to know why A-ROD didn't contact Leausa to come to BYU??? A-RODS doing nothing in recruiting highschool players... and now players and other assistant coaches are reaching out to portal players?????!!!!! What does A-ROD do for BYU??? No quarterback committed worth being excited about in the future or commits like Jay Hill on the defense??? I can't believe that this young man was reached by players and other offensive coaches other than A-ROD??? I can't wait for him to be fired the sooner the better!!!!!! Great show Jake but quit defending the main problem there's a reason UT fried him!!! Know we are going to be set back 2-3 years having to learn a new offense!!!??? The quarterback position makes me the maddest not only can't he recruit a quarterback he can't develop one either!!! Wilson was not his recruit neither was Hall.... Where stuck with a quarterback battle between a JC transfer and a quarterback coming off a major injury!!! That's not BYU football and I'm very very very upset with how things are going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give him a chance. He has some skill and will add depth on the O-Line which is always needed. I watched him at Snow and he has a ton of potential...
With all we have in the receivers room and with Tight ends, why are they still focused on run first? Pass first and then kill them with the run. That has been the success of all champions the past 20 years.
