I love that you DGAF and love what you love. Can't wait to try Ichiran for the first time when I go to Japan in October this year. Love these videos and if Shinjuku happens to be one of the spots on your itinery, that would be awesome to see some dope spots to hit up.
Thank you for your recommendation Kim ;) I'm finally coming to Japan in July!! Would love to try Ichiran you've recommended it a lot and Ninja Restaurant for the vibe
Hi Kim, thank You for the food tour. I will travel to Tokyo tomorrow, its so exiting. Ichiran Ramen is one of the places I will revisit. My (so far) all time favorite is Gottsui Okonomiyaki, even when my go- to restaurant in 4-chome Setagaya sadly closed for good. Thank good there are other Gottsui locations available. Also looking forward to some CoCo Ichibanya Curry! ✈⛩🗼
Still thinking about Ninja Cafe for our April trip... my boys would love it! Love your honest opinions on the places you visit :) Enjoy not having to leave the country for the next little while :D
I am planning to go to Japan in October this year! Can’t wait to try out the locations you recommended. Question, I watched your videos on tips for things to do before Japan. Can you let me know if that is still valid after the pandemic or has that changed?
Hey! I'll be going to Japan in late March for Cherry Blossom season. super excited. Thanks for all the great videos, I've been planning this trip for ages and am just stoked to finally be able to go.
I am coming to Japan on the 15th of April. I just can't wait to go back for the third time. Quick question, what clothing should I take with me to Japan in April? I am not so sure how cold it'll be in April. 😁
The ‘I don’t give a fuck’ Ichiran comment though 😂 love it! Yeah when I went to Tokyo a few years back my Japanese friend introduced me to it, after that I ate there everyday for the rest of my trip 🍜
Hi Kim! I’ll be visiting Tokyo in June! Will it still be chilly? Are you able to recommend some breakfast places around Tokyo Station & Asakusa? Heh.. Will be staying for ard 10 days! Can’t wait!
I heard that there was an incident of someone licking and putting back the sushi at a kaiten sushi, and that’s why some places only have an order system these days.
it happen to me too when I visited one of my fav sushi restaurant in Tokyo last month…I felt the taste was better last time .. I thought probably it’s due to my aging taste buds 😅
Hi KImdao, I am going to visit Tokyo on 10th March. Is it possible to show some fun places and good food that cater for kids? As my 8 years old girl coming with me. Thanks.
@@kimdao thank you for this information. Would you know if Airbnb owners usually let you check in early? Do they leave lock box to enter or provide keypad code system? Thanks in advance for the help 😊
I would highly recommend "Hakushu Teppanyaki" in Shibuya for their wagyu beef and just overall really personal and amazing dining experience. We had a set menu their and it was absolutely amazing :)
Glad to hear that you love Ichiran too and the feeling you have towards people who try to persuade you otherwise. 😂I'm 100% team Ichiran although I only had time for Ichiran once on my recent trip to Japan earlier this month.🥲I managed to bring 3 boxes of instant Ichiran ramen home though. I'll have to load up on Ichiran meals on my next Japan trip!
I went to Katsu Midori back in December. The food was good, but shortly after I left the restaurant, I got sick. I think I had food poisoning. My stomach got upset and I almost threw up on the train ride back to my accommodation, in the busiest part of Tokyo during rush hour. I had to get off the train to find a toilet asap. It was a horrible and embarrassing experience! I get the impression that doesn't usually happen at that restaurant, but I guess I was unlucky. Maybe someone tampered with my sushi, as apparently that's been happening with conveyer belt sushi restaurants.
Oh dear :/ that sounds horrible! I actually have never experienced food poisoning before in Japan but when I came back this time I had 2 mild cases of it. Eric had a really bad one in December too at Gusto
Kim, try not to film from below your eyeline and don't film yourself chewing huge mouthfuls. Over the shoulder shots are much more flattering. I don't want to be rude, but Eric's camerawork isn't easy to watch ☹️
Ichiran is also my favourite ramen in Japan! I'll be living there for a month in October this year so very excited to eat more Ichiran. 🤤
I’m coming to Japan in April and I can’t wait to test some of these restaurants 😁
"I dont give a f***"! spoken like a true aussie lol

agreed. I always have to visit Ichiran, Ippudo and Kikanbo everytime I visit Tokyo. Just love their ramen for different reasons.
Can’t wait for more videos! Starting to plan for our trip in September 😀
We will be there April 1st. Can’t wait to go back to Ichiran🤤
You should definitely visit 半兵衛"hanbei" which is a showa style bar! i'm positive that you'll have a unique experience there!

Everything looks so yum - I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I love Japanese pastries 😅🤷🏼♀️

13:04 Yeah! Tell it how it is!
LMAO "I don't give a fuck its my favorite" that sold me. I'm going to visit
The ‘I don’t give a fuck’ Ichiran comment though 😂 love it! Yeah when I went to Tokyo a few years back my Japanese friend introduced me to it, after that I ate there everyday for the rest of my trip 🍜

You should try samurai burger in Shinjuku

So yummy yummy my friend
cafe香咲(casa) in 外苑前
Thanks for the recommendation!
I heard that there was an incident of someone licking and putting back the sushi at a kaiten sushi, and that’s why some places only have an order system these days.
Ahh that makes sense, most kaiten sushi places I’ve been to recently have been like that
I'll be there, 10/4 to the 27th! Yahoo
Ahh have fun!!
Can you recommend and places that serve non fish based ramen?
13:04 so me 😂😂😂😂😂
it happen to me too when I visited one of my fav sushi restaurant in Tokyo last month…I felt the taste was better last time .. I thought probably it’s due to my aging taste buds 😅

Hi KImdao, I am going to visit Tokyo on 10th March. Is it possible to show some fun places and good food that cater for kids? As my 8 years old girl coming with me. Thanks.
I’ll try put out a travel video soon for that!
I am going in a few months. Where should I exchange currency for the best rate? Does airport give the best rate? Thanks!
I usually just get a travel card and withdraw at the ATMs. Usually airports give the worst rates
@@kimdao thank you for this information. Would you know if Airbnb owners usually let you check in early? Do they leave lock box to enter or provide keypad code system? Thanks in advance for the help 😊
Thank you for not giving a f*ck about choosing Ichiran. I agree that it's really good.
Nice hairstyle!
7:20 you mean kim has adorable freckles in 4k
Can you recommend Japanese skincare
I’ll try to an updated one soon!

Surprised at the f bomb at the end there… ichiran is good though and whoever says otherwise is an idiot 🤣
❤❤❤
Difficult to be seated next to a smoking table... Wears a mask everywhere everyday... Hahahhahhahahahahah
Hi
❤❤
❤️
❤❤💕💕💖
❤️❤️
🍢🍡🍵💗
People who say Ichiran is overrated are kinda pretentious.
I agree haha
I like ichiran cos i could eat and enjoy my food in peace. I don't really like talking to people so this is a big bonus for me.
I mean… is the wait time worth it though? Feel theres better ramen shops in general not even taking that into account
ichiran is the best❤
2 weeks ago, still going on about covid , i thought japan was ahead, but obviously its filled with hardworking rule obeying sheep
