    This is a life saver. thank you. I'm new to Fuji. Coming from Sony, it slows me down to use the top dial. Huge thank you.. I'm use to use the front for shutterspeed though so i just switch the two dials and use your tutorial to make it act like we used to do.

    Thanks for the video! I’m newish to the xt4, and am struggling with the dedicated photo/video switch. I am hoping to keep my photo and video settings saved, with photo being the top dials and video being the side dials. I have yet to succeed. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? Cheers

    Thanks so much for the help, new to the Xt4 , just got it :) I have a small question, how do I make my changes with 1/3 increments? Can't find where to get that control ... Thank you very much! I wish you could make more xt4 videos! There is not a real quantity of info on the web, and some of us, have eye-sight problems to read a full tiny small printing manual . Thanks again! Best form Uruguay.

  • @shashankchauhan6701
    @shashankchauhan6701 3 роки тому

    Hey I wanted to ask why the live preview “screen” change as the setting are changed giving a live view of how your image will turn out? If I turn the shutter speed to 1/4000 it will still show correct exposer on the screen as well as the EVF but the image will turn out to be black. I’m on a XT-200.
    This happens in Shutter Priority and not in Manual Mode.

    Hi thanks for the video, very clear. One question though : for video maker, the noise of the rings is a problem.. So How can you control the aperture by just pushing a button (like you do with AE ON for the autofocus) ? In other words, I'm trying to find out how I can control IRIS by just pushing a button like I do with a Sony camcorder. Thanks so much for your help, Jerome

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  3 роки тому

      Hi Jerome,
      you could use the movie optimized control to change all the settings including aperture via the touch screen and it won't make any sounds.

    Thank you for the tutorials! I was trying to change the front command dial to Aperture like you demonstrated, but it didn't work. I discovered that when using a Fuji lense with an Aperture ring, the front dial cannot be changed to aperture. Is this correct? Is there another way to set it up?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you Leah, Depending on the model you have, you can change the A position from Auto to Command in the button and dial setting menu. This will allow you to change the aperture using the command dial.
      Thanks !

    Thanks, very useful. But I have a doubt regarding shutter speeds. Using the specific dial, shutter speed is set to fixed timings, 1/30 - 1/60 - 1/125... But if I want to set, for example, shutter at 1/100 or 1/80, like I do with my Nikon reflex, is it possible?

      It is there is a smaller dial above the button pad, you can adjust settings with it by smaller intervals

    Hello, thank you for the video.
    I am having a settings issue I can not solve and I can't find this info anywhere.
    I have an X-T4, and I like to use the top dials in Movie mode. However somehow when I use the command dial once, it switches that only the command dials are active and the top dials are disabled. How do can I switch back to use only the top dials rather than the command dials? The only way I am able to do this so far is to completely reset the settings, but this is very annoying.
    I appreciate any help!

    • @JerryRossCreative
      @JerryRossCreative 3 роки тому +2

      It is a feature to keep the camera quiet while filming. If you want to use the top dials, like I do, you need to go to Movie Settings > page 2 > Movie Optimized Mode > turn to OFF

    Hello I’ve purchased X-T4. I have a question that there is no ISO limit setting when shooting video using auto ISO?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  4 роки тому

      That is correct. There is no option to set Auto ISO range or settings when recording movies.

    On the X-T4 in shutter Speed Dial setting 'T" is it possible to set the time to be between the fixed 4/8/15 mins settings. When using a ND10 sometimes I need to set in between this fixed settings.
    Thank you.

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  4 роки тому

      No. As it turn out those settings are 1/3 stops. One option would be to get an optional digital intervelometer, which would allow exposure lengths in-between those lengths.

    Hi in my x t4 when i am in Shutter T mode, i can set it to 2, 4 , 8 and 15 minutes with the back command dial. Is there a way in camera to set this shutter speed between this nos, for example 5 minutes and 20 seconds. Thanks

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  4 роки тому

      The rear command dial allows you to select the SS in 1/3 steps, and the options you indicate are the available options.
      If you are looking to set a specific time, you would need to purchase an optional digital intervelometer and set the camera to "B".

    Is it normal for the iso dial to be totally unresponsive in movie mode? it doesn't matter how i set the iso on the dial it does not change the settings, the only way to change ISO is either through the Q, touchscreen menu, or a command dial.

    hey, when you're changing the settings, why isn't the screen changing exposure?

    • @fujiguys
      @fujiguys  4 роки тому

      It's possible you have one of the three exposure settings (Aperture, Shutter Speed or ISO) set to Automatic. If that's the case, the camera is adjusting that parameter to correct the exposure. Another possibility is that you have exposure preview turned off. Go to SETTINGS > SCREEN SETTING > PREVIEW EXP./WB IN MANUAL MODE and change that to either PREVIEW EXP./WB to preview both the exposure and the white balance, or PREVIEW WB to preview only the white balance. This is useful when using studio strobes.
