I tracked a set of drums in the woods behind a friend's house once. Came out sounding great. :D

As I'm from the wonder UK England, I have to ask a question about something very troubling and disturbing that I saw in the video, I've never seen it before and it's left me feel a bit perplexed....
I'm referring to the bright stuff you witness outside, what was that? And you say it "burnt" your skin?
Although I am very thankful we don't have that alien substance in my country it's left me concerned that other countries my be under threat.

Don't worry that strange glow is as rare here in Seattle as it is in England. We have however had an extremely unusual amount of that substance lately which has caused me to have less daily suicidal thoughts.

what's the point of recording real drums when you actually have samples of "real" drums sounds... i know right? Seriously, the simple fact fluff is recording jared tells you everything you need to know about how samples sounds in a production point of view... Deal with it. Real performance, Real Gear, Real sound, Real life.

i agree, the problem is when everybody uses the same samples so it all becomes repetitive, nothing new and "just another song"

I use to break sticks all the time when I first started playing and had pretty bad technique. I don't break them nearly as much anymore! and switching to vater from vic firth also seemed to help break them less for some reason haha
