Thanks for sharing this great build, I have this same kit in my stash, and now I know what to look forward to when I build it, best regards from Australia, you have yourself another subscriber also, Les
Nice build!...Those old Cadillac ambulances were awesome!...I rode in a '58 once...It was so big on the inside!...Thanks for the share!...Keep the builds coming!
Love it nice model, nice job but a couple of things. All the professional cars had gray dashboards back then. And gray Floor covering in driver's compartment 😊
That wzs certainly a great build, it's a pity you don't see a lot of these kits in the shops, especially here in Australia, my only issue would be I think lot of kits like this would need the molds updatec, I remember seeing this tupe of ambulance on TV way back in the early '60's on series comes to mind and that is Dr Kildare, very bedt regards from Australia and have a Happy New Year
Absolutely a sweet kit ❤ Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the best for 2024🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Cheers🍺🍻🍺🍻 KC & CC 🇦🇺🇳🇿 Cradle Mountain Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇳🇿🇳🇿🤝😎👍🤞
Oh wow, you really did a fantastic job on this ambulance Louie, fantastic details especially on that interior. Nice and shiny finish on the body too, well done 👍🏼👍🏼
That is a very cool kit! I had a friend way back when that had a 63 Cadillac "flower car" which he said was used to take flowers from a funeral to the wake (or vice versa). It had mags and was jacked up in the back. I would love to build that!
Really enjoyed the video and watching you work. Turned out fantastic and looks really sweet.. Just want to say that we wish you a Very Merry Christmas.. And pray that you and yours will have a Safe and Happy New Year's..🎉 See you next year.👍
Round 2 did a really nice job with this one. It is a really neat kit especially considering it is a curbside. You did an excellent job with all of the details. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for building.the kit.thats.to much for me to handle.the biggest project for me this summer.is when I have to build my 1/8 scale model 65 corvette in the back yard.know that's a project for me.😅
Great job! Really builds up nice. Love the red and white and decals. Round2 did a nice job fixing this one up to be stock. Remember these roaming the streets when I was growing up. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎅🏻🎄🎄
thats a cool kit good to see ,Nice build there Louie you did a heck of a good job thanks for the look enjoyed the build cant wait to see whats next Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄
Looks really good. Nice detailing job to make something plain stand out. It could easily be made into a hearse which would be a good-looking build also. The wide whites are perfect for this vehicle.
HEY-DAR 👊😎👍: This Kit turned out Great Louie. Not to many parts, to bad the hood don't open. You got one of those food dehydrater thingies to put those parts in to dry faster? That would have been a pain in the beanbags to BMF all that window trim 😔 When you did the frame, was that Gloss-Coat or Future (Floor Shine)? Geez! I'm 400 pounds, I'd never fit on that Gurney LOL. Watch You Later, (MODEL CAR)🎭(MAN CAVE)
Thank you!! Yes the gloss coat was Floor polish. I don’t use a food dehydrator because it’s pretty much warm all year round here in phoenix. Happy Modeling
Beautiful build! The paint and decals turned out really nice! I just bought the "surf shark" version, and will be building that one as a slammed custom, but i just gotta get me this one too. I've wanted to build a stock '59 ambulance for decades.
The liquid glue used on fins at 5:52 looks to have a hole in the brush cap? 😮 A tip to avoid masking paint leakage is to hit taped area with a bit more white before the red. So stoked this kit is on the way to us, so cool. Will be getting a couple as I plan to use the parts from the Johan Heavenly Hearse on one. And super work not only with build, but videos are nicely done Louie. Good holidays sir.
Very nicely done.

Great video, mate. Definitely have to get one of these for my “to build” collection.
Very nice work. Looks like a good kit, will have to get one.
That is beautiful. Great work. Thank you for sharing. 👍👍👍👍♥️
Way cool Louie, period perfect build!!!
Really looks great Louie! Mine are on order, can't wait for them to arrive.
Nice build!...Those old Cadillac ambulances were awesome!...I rode in a '58 once...It was so big on the inside!...Thanks for the share!...Keep the builds coming!
I rode in a Oldsmobile hearch back in the day.
Really sharp louie!! Looks like the old Mercy ambulances I remember from the 60s!!
Thank you!! I grew up in St Louis. I noticed your badge. Near Gravois rd and Mackenzie right near the Dairy Queen. In Affton. Happy Modeling!!
Cool kit 👍🏿

That turned out nice, I like the light set up the you chose for the roof.
Excellent job! Can’t wait to get my hands on one of those! Thanks for video!
This looks spectacular. I wouldn't change anything were I to build one.
Absolutely a sweet kit ❤ Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the best for 2024🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Pretty neat Kit. Nice work. What I found really impressive was your 1 handed decal applications. An awesome feat! Merry Christmas.
Really nice job Louie! Merry Christmas!👍
Great job pal nice work!
Looks excellent. They need to do a Hearse version like in the Harold and Maude movie. 👍👍👍👍
Really enjoyed the video and watching you work. Turned out fantastic and looks really sweet.. Just want to say that we wish you a Very Merry Christmas.. And pray that you and yours will have a Safe and Happy New Year's..🎉 See you next year.👍

Fantastic looking model. It makes me want to go back to model building myself. Keep up the great work.

Cool kit & build! Subbed 👍
I like the reference to AMTs beginnings inTroy, Michigan with those decals
Plus it can go right with the AMT fire truck kits.
I noticed that too, and I live in Troy, Kansas, so that's going to make the build even sweeter whenever I get mine!
Great job! Really builds up nice. Love the red and white and decals. Round2 did a nice job fixing this one up to be stock. Remember these roaming the streets when I was growing up. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎅🏻🎄🎄
Looks amazing
Gorgeous build…. You’ve got a new subscriber…
Thank you for subscribing!! Happy modeling
even the ambulances were styled at this time...
Really cool build love those old cadillacs once again you did a real nice job 👍👍👍
thats a cool kit good to see ,Nice build there Louie you did a heck of a good job thanks for the look enjoyed the build cant wait to see whats next Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄
Thank you and Merry Christmas
I want one
Looks really good. Nice detailing job to make something plain stand out. It could easily be made into a hearse which would be a good-looking build also. The wide whites are perfect for this vehicle.
Great idea!!!
Many of the Miller-Meteors of that time were made to be dual purpose as either ambulance or hearse, depending on which was needed at a given time.

I love those sharpies as well.Great job.
Great model! I'd really like to see them do a hearse or possibly a flower car version
Thank you. Awesome build. A great video.
That`s real purty.....Nice!

If you want to do a easier job of the window frames in the back, don't put the fins on until after. Thats what I did on the Ghostbusters version.
The main reason I did that was to do Baremetal Foil on the edges of the fins. A huge pain in the butt.
Yeah I noticed that problem. But I was also worried about having a seam there. Good tip thank you. 😊
Looks really great! The gurney seems way too narrow. Skinny folks only!
No fat chicks lol🤣🤣🤣
You can put add ghostbusters ecto-1

Thank you for the kind words. I do appreciate it. Happy holidays as well.
Yea it’s the old polar lights ecto kit from 2002
This is the AMT Version, modified to be stock. Happy modeling
Oh,sadly,a curbside..
But not what wasn‘t to handle..
Have two vision of this kit before my eyes.
That's a good job so what's a new model kits
I have a few more Round 2 sent me. So watch for them soon.
Great build and video as always Louie. Can you please tell me the song starting at 27:19? Thanks, Hans
It’s called “Rock is back” by Got happy. It is on Epidemic sound, a licensable music site for videos. Happy Modeling
Thank you so much my friend!@@TheAutisticModeler
What color was used for the top? Excellent work!
Thank you!! 😊 the white I used was Touch n Tone brand flat white. It’s available at Ace Hardware. I just gloss coated the entire car. Happy Modeling.
what's the music ?? great video thanks
All the music I use comes from the website Epidemic sounds. It a licensable music website that’s about 17.99 a month. Thank you for watching!!
Did you clear coat before or after applying decals to body?
Sometimes I do, but this one I wanted the decals over the clear. It depends on what look I was going for. Thank you for watching!! Happy Modeling
What kinda paint did you use when you fixed the floor leak
The paint I used on the floor of the car was Apple Barrel brand. Water based. Available at Walmart or Hobby Lobby.
can I buy one with out building it
You can buy the kit on Round2 website
What kind of glue do you use with the blueish lavenderish cap
It’s Mr Hobby “Mr Cement SP” this kind is the fast curing kind. They make all kinds of different products. Good stuff. Happy Modeling
