Bridget's character doesn't show up in the movie so early or too much, but Janet surely has the most intense and satisfying arc, since she discovers herself very resilient when she realizes that she doesn't need anybody to be happy, and when she finds someone is exactly when she isn't expecting and it's in very good terms with herself. I love the way she offers her shoulder to Campbell Scott's character. Her empathy and the sense that she was already in his shoes someday shines all over. It's a beautiful and fun movie.
Bridget Fonda's face has every inch of potential to do that ethereal and nuanced type of acting like Cate Blanchett, too bad she wasn't guided or mentored well to accomplish that.
How can you be on set with that man and NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM how can you be in a room with him for 5 minutes AND NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM how can you watch a movie with him in it AND NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM because I have
It’s funny, when this movie came out you didn’t know much about the scene unless you went to concerts or were a musician but still you didn’t know much but here say about Chris Cornell or Pearl Jam. Nowadays everyone knows everything or can learn everything about everyone. I miss the “what if..” or the ‘not knowing’ part of the past.
I used to be so envious of Bridgett Fonda. Now, I see that she is a very sweet, sort of innocent human being. I'm surprised how nice she is. Same with Ashley Judd. I used to be so jealous of her. But now I see, neither is that strong. Just goes to show what the pressure of fame, money, and over-use, maybe working too hard, and becoming too busy, can do to a person.
So Bridget Fonda quit acting in 2003, like Michael Schoeffling (16 Candles) did in 1992. I guess some just get tired of the lifestyle of travelling, screen tests/auditions & fame/invasive media.
I think she wasn't getting enough of the kinds of roles she wanted to do. The last few years don't look too exciting. But I wish she had stayed in the game and tried to hold out for a better part again.
Somebody like Jennifer Jason Leigh, or Vivian Leigh, might be tougher. But Vivian did not live too long. But she got Clark Cable to say, "What a woman." That's what we all really want, right.
@@MB-vu3ow As a straight woman, Alain is too "pretty" for my taste whereas Dillon is more handsome and much more attractive because he has a more masculine vibe. Just my opinion.
14:08 I guess the alternate camera footage was for Wygant to review how she conducted the interview? It would have been hilarious to broadcast that version with the focus on her and showing only the backs of the stars' heads.
Sadly bridget has had a few health issues over the years after her accident. Mediaction and so forth has affected her aesthetically and she has gained considerable weight but she is very happy and danny and her are in a good space. I can tell you first hand she has absolutely no intention of returning to acting. She had an opportunity at televison when david kelley actually wrote the ally mcbeal part with her in mind but she turned it down. She did a couple of movies after that but that was it for her
Bridget, what kinda man would you marry?? Bridget; uhh🤔 ginger, ish, slightley going bold, big BIG head and face, milky teint, absolutely not athletic and ugly, very very ugly🤔yes, that's my dream man.. 🙈🤷🏽♂️😟Whyyyyyy??goddamnit!!! Why😟😭??
Bridget Fonda, we miss you, we miss your movies
The movies are still there….
@HBIC Yes, but it would be good if she could make more movies.
@@humbertoluiz1975 Saw a picture of her recently, let me remember her as she was...

Loved Singles so much. Still watch it now and then.
Bridget Fonda was just so mind blowingly beautiful.
Love his voice ❤

YOU'RE FUCKING RIGHT
Understandable. I felt the same about Bridget Fonda, and hey, why not Campbell Scott?
@Emma Damn you told her 😂 she was a hatin on matt anyways
They both seem so uncomfortable in this interview.
The interviewer is kinda nuts
Bridget fonda is very pretty And I like Singles she was great

If the lead singer of Mother Love Bone didnt die, pearl Jam would have never existed.

Much more talented than Eddie Vedder

Nice pfp Saint, Jude law and Matt Dillon are my favourites
She was in a car accident, married Danny Elfman and had a child.
I suppose those are the reasons why she retired?

I think Matt and Bridget just wanted to hang out with each other

As a straight man. I think Matt Dillon at this age , was the most handsome man in the world
Have you ever seen the young Alain Delon?

We'd really rather have Rhett Butler say, "What a woman," than, "I've never met a person more kind, Miss Mellie."
Bobbie Wygant sounds so nice. But her questions sort of reveal... someone perhaps not so nice. Too bad we've lost such subtlety and nuance.
Yikes. She seems smarter when she’s acting.
I think she’s high.
A lot of actors are like that. The ones that start believing they are as smart as their characters are the problem.
I think she doesn't feel comfortable with the interviewer.
Her eyes are not glassy.
She not high shes not coughing.
Bridget Fonda looked good at this time. Now she changed a lot, gained too much weight 😕
Wow, she looks like Rosemary Clooney here!
👀💙❤🚙💯
Are they stoned ! Both are beautiful people
