This will probably be my album of the year. It's certainly the most anticipated.

The 80's are long over, no one gives a shit about Metallica, not when you can listen to Revocation.

THIS IS A GOOD YEAR FOR METAL, Revocations new tracks are as sick as ever, their logo on this album looks like a heavy metal approach along with some of the solos sounding more heavy metalish instead of jazzing ones liek the previous album. FUCKING A, the artwork is sick, the album name is sick, and the music is jizzful as always CANT WAIT
So, Evile and Revocation have new albums out in August, Sepultura releases theirs in June, Havok released theirs in March and Warbringer's halfway done with their new album. Testament, suicidal tendencies and Machine Head go into the studio this summer, Anthrax's new record is almost done and if anyone still cares, Metallica's recording "Something" in November. Then we have Megadeth in Pre-production now. This IS the year for Thrash! \m/

@AGNTthrasher I'm pretty sure that Metallica is recording a full original studio album as well as some special secret project. There doing some recording/writing right now according to what Ive heard from reliable sources.

I'll have to check them out. But you got to be impressed by Warbringer. Dude's weren't even 21 when they were touring in Taiwan and Japan. That's some pretty bad ass shit bro. I wish I could play in Japan. Revocation's last album Chaos of Forms was pretty fucking awesome too.

Endgame and Death Magnetic were a teency bit Thrashy. I was hoping they'd push themselves with these releases but unfortunately, they didn't =/
IT seems like in all of these making of videos the studio seems like a little dark hell hole crammed full of amps and guitar and drums and barely any room for the humans. And in their studio there is porn on the wall. So yeah...
Revocation and Warbringer are the better thrash bands lately. Megadeth kind of fell off even though I love them. The big 4 or whatever are practically dead now. They were bad ass but as time passes, so do they. They were or are legendary but the young always precedes the old.
