Hell yea SQ5 content! It's the cat/downpipe that really wakes up this V6. I even went high flow cat and with the OEM exhaust behind it (valves open) it sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see the rest of your build! Jealous of the rear bumper you're gonna install, I wanna get that done this year.
Diffuser has to change! Otherwise it sounds awesome👍🏼
Yep. But at least in EU it's pretty much only ABT that does SQ5 diffusers with real exhausts

Diffuser can be quite difficult (not saying it's impossible) to swap out since those fake exhaust tips are integrated into it. It also depends on if he has tow bar connection. I learned it the hardway and wasted 450€.
Was hoping to see a new diffuser and real exhaust tips (like a B8.5 SQ5). It sounds phenomenal however!
I mentioned that in the video! Need to lock in the exhaust setup before I have tips welded on. No point in doing the effort if I end up switching!
I have that same exhaust hanger removal tool. Even if you only use it one time, it's worth it.
I gotta be honest, at least through the video's audio this AWE exhaust doesn't sound all that different than just cutting out the big resonator.
EDIT: The one thing I'm jealous about the B9 vs my B9.5 is the round speedo in the digital dash.
A nice middle ground of sounding great outside but not too loud for a family mobile. The turn down... That’s bad Audi!

it sounds great like all the 3.0 Audis but I still cant believe that Audi did fake exhaust this bad there really isn't any excuse for that when your paying for a car as beautiful as this. Anyways I love your content keep up your great work!
All these years I never thought of using a screw driver for the hangers been using my hands all these years... all those hours spending taking hangers off wasted...

I got mtm aerodynamic body kit, with that real exhaust it sounds way better than the fake exhaust. its your turn to choose ABT or MTM brother

they're actually pretty great stock, I drove mine with spacers and lowering links as is for like 5 months

Hey Eli, any chance you happen to know off hand how thick the transmission tunnel brace spacers are? I had the same problem with my B8.5 S4 and just removed the brace altogether, but wouldn’t mind putting it back on without my AWE clunking off it all the time! Thanks!
I would say roughly a half inch? Hit up AWE, they'll have the exact measurements!

you have to get visible tail pipes. Thats the only thing I dont like on the B9

Did you get a horsepower bump from this? I've heard that deleting the resonators gives you the same results.
Nope! Never seen horsepower gain from an exhaust other than something that modifies the catalytic converter
Is this kit affordable?
I'm contemplating running this setup vs running a catted DP and x-pipe. I just don't know if this exhaust setup is worth $2K+ ? Subjective yes, but inquiring minds wanna know lol
just delete all 3 resonators and keep stock mufflers. will sound better than this

Great exhaust sound! Are all Audi engines "drony" or is it just the V6 because its lacking 2 cylinders? I went space and beyond to research the right exhaust for the supercharged 3.0 V6 and ended up with a milltek non-resonated which I'm real happy with. AWE sounds a little better due to the x-pipe but i couldn't justify buying 2 downpipes on top of the exhaust price.
I think it's this motor specifically, I had zero drone on my touring setup on the S4 and SQ.

I cant take the drone of my 4.2 v8 rs5 at 2000rpm in comfort mode while driving slowly. Then I decide to get my valve flaps back.
