Anyone who is as crazy about Francois’ version of Cesare should watch: "Cesare Borgia | I'd rather watch my kingdom fall" by XxHartofaWarriorxX "Jesus must love you, Cesare Borgia" by Drankini
I love the series too but I don’t think reviving it is a good idea. I’ve read the screenplay for the conclusion of the series and it was awful. Lucrezia’s character is ruined. I would also hate to see Cesare die. I’m too attached 😅
@@GalicianGranddaughter666 Oh? Then R.I.P The Borgias. Lucrezia's character (in this show alone) is one of my favorites and I'm much too attached to this version of Cesare as well (forgot in real life he dies from a spear wound when he was only 31)
@@GalicianGranddaughter666 Parts of it weren't bad. But yeah, they basically did character assassination on Lucrezia. But that ending montage would have been something to see, even if it wasn't historically accurate. There are some really good Borgias fanfic stories on the fanfiction.net site. They range from tearjerkers to campy humor.
Wow! This was intense. Great editing of all of the parallels, the separate dialogues and scenes that actually metaphor one another. Such an underrated series, I was moved by every second.
The reason the show didn’t preform well was because it aired exactly at the same time as Game of Thrones. So when they have the big reveal with the siblings, the shock value wasn’t there

I thought in the beginning Cesare is this nicer brother while Juan is the devil but it turned out Cesare is the real devil with cold heart only love he has is towards Lucrezia and Borgias and all the parallels
Cesare took care of Juan to protect his family's reputation. Juan was getting carried away. In the past, it was about protecting your family's reputation to maintain powerful influence. People were far more competitive in those times without modern convenience of getting necessities through current technologies for survival. Cesare had a strong will to live, was greedy, and got an aggressive personality. So, he had a hard time becoming compassionate in a time of competition for resources to survive. But he did have a soft spot for his mother, sister, and Ursula. Cesare could have been nicer to others. But he wasn't compromising his family's powerful reputation by being nicer, because it was about competition for resources to survive in those times.
It should be available on Netflix in the US. (I just looked but I don’t know if it’s available in other countries). It also should be available with a Showtime subscription and various other premium subscriptions on Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
It would be better if they spoke italian when playing these characters, or at least speak English with an Italian accent. This just feels like Game of Thrones lol

If we all continue to love this series so much, could we not ask for it to be revived? Worse series have risen from the dead have they not?

very true if it aired a bit before game of thrones this show would’ve been massive
The part of this edit about the brothers was so good, as was the whole video. So many small details.
Love all the Cesare tribute!
