@@dontgoout1434 Elvis worked his ass of and supported multiple extended family members along with an entourage and his manager. He worked two shows a day, seven days a week in Vegas. Imagine getting on stage, sweating and performing with your voice twice a day every day... It must have been exhausting to the point of pain. Elvis inherited a genetic condition from his Mama which caused his colon to be enlarged. This caused bloating... The steroid injections contributed to the weight gain as steroids will... His heart was enlarged and he had chronic high blood pressure. Yet, he financially supported everyone he knew. He bought things for strangers, too. He bought an elderly black woman a brand new Cadillac. All because he saw her looking through a window at a dealership admiring cars she couldn't afford. A woman he'd never met.

My heart! To think, Colonel Parker thought the military would somehow tame him, make America especially love him more if he came back having served his country, etc. Who could've known what this handful of years would yield. Thank goodness he was still untamed and still himself when he came out. A man whose life and talent still influences us even today. Thank you so much for putting this together! Subscribed!

Loved his parents family friends fans was very generous to very many people.
