oh yes u can... Thirtyfour did do a specialized rod for bfs ajing... it can be use for ajing to light rock game.. do check out the 64b advancent.. i do have one and im loving it.. using a 0.3 ester line.. pairing it with aldeberan with a slight mod so i can cast 1.5g jighead at around 20 to 30m.. at 1 mag.. bfs ajing is fun! do try out! currently im pushing myself to use 0.2 and im still learning more in bfs ajing... hope this helps!
@@markosan6131 great to know you can. What exactly are you using. I’ve had limited success with my Mavllos Plume and Haibo Arise air loaded with 0.2 Kingdom braid but I would love to use an ester line
@@TheConstantAngler So far i tried using jighead rating from 1.5 to 5g , sinking minnows 3 to 7g or little vibes3 to 5g... u may want to start from 0.3 ester first...for me, i still trying to master the Aldebaran at the moment.. try out and i will watch ur videos soon! do tagged me buddy! btw, im using the Gosen Lumishine 0.3 polyester line..
is tubular rod better for hard lures like irons and spoons ? im trying to see whats best to get as we have aji fish and baracuda, bonefish, bonita and similar size fish under 5 pounds.. kinda want a all in one versatile rod for both aji and small game .. i just dont like to take 2 to 3+ rods when i go fish ... i use lots of swimbaits soft lures and irons and also poppers
Hey there, Ajing is a very niche game that requires a certain tackle that will provide a proper ajing experience. If u’re looking for something all rounder, u probably shldn’t look at Ajing rods😀 You’ll probably need to look at Medium Light spec rods :)
@@thatonebeone I don’t mean the weight of the setup. Medium Light is referring to the specification of the rod. That tells you roughly how heavy you can cast. Probably around 5-15g
Kokping did a damn good job asking questions for ppl paiseh to ask.
Yeap agreed!
Can you use Polyester line on baitcasting reels? I regularly fish BFS in Saltwater and I am about to start Ajing. Great video
Heyo, i’ve not tried but i’ve heard it can get very good distance!
Although I wouldn’t advice because I foresee it breaking easily

Hi, yes you do need a fluorocarbon leader.
