Very impressive. Exhaust systems can be so tricky to get the right angles without stress. I love when you mention Rethinking. or Overthinking!!!!! so true The story of my life. I look forward to more videos. Thank you
Haha been there. Overthink it and start the build , and it's tedious. Then in the middle of it you have a brainstorm(made the project simpler)so you tear it all out and start again 😆 Haha good times
So glad you posted Jeff, we hadn't seen a comment from you in a month and were getting worried. Your attention to the details always shows in your projects. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
I have a buggy pretty much like yours that I made. No wait- that was a dream. Lots of work and you are a skilled and talented man for sure. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Great to see another awesome video by you Jeff. I think you under estimate yourself sometimes i think a lot of people would like to see a video of you working on that electronic stuff from the printing company. Your videos are great just the way they are. Your talent and attention to detail is excellent. It always makes my day when i see you have posted a video no matter what it is about. Love your shop mate she is a cutie. Keep up the great work and posting the great videos. Have a great week!!!
So appreciate your write-up! I always worry I couldn't make those type video's interesting enough. Can't talk the talk on what I would be doing.... I have never been to school for those type things - kind know just enough to squeak by. Fails but also wins!
Hi Jeff, always enjoy your videos. You are one of the most creative craftsman I’ve ever seen, ... perhaps at the “genius” level. I admire your projects and consider you very generous to share your work with us. I’m a retired electrical engineer and I’m interested in converting a small hydraulically driven tractor from gas to electric. It’s a 25 HP Powertrac 425. I need some technical assistance ... motor selection, battery selection, controller etc. Could I email you some thoughts and pictures? I would be glad to pay you for your time.
Hello John. I don't want to be a Debbie downer but wouldn't recommend that project. I seen video's where people converted tractors and when trying to use an attachment things burn up, batterys go down quickly, etc. The final investment to do that with that size compatible motor would be lots of $$$$ I never got into those size motors and controllers. Been too busy here with so many things, sorry John, not enough time in my days. Hope you didn't mind my comment, good luck if you decide to ..... Jeff.
Hi John, Do some research on the General Electric Elec-Trak garden tractor. These were a deep cycle battery powered garden tractor built in the 1970's. I had one years ago, cool piece of gear and well built. The primary difficulty with them was the primitive controls available at the time. If you want a project it would be easier (and cheaper) to buy an old E-T and modernize the controls than convert a gas power machine to electric. Good luck !
@@2jeffs1 Thanks for the response. If I move forward on this project, I’ll be sure to share it with you. In the meantime, please keep up the good work on your videos. We love seeing your work!

I like the wingnut on the press , I think I'll have to borrow that idea one day if it's ok 😁 It's always a hassle to stick the handle back on in the middle of a job.
That engine originally had a 520 chain. Went with the 630 in hopes that never happens. Also recently replaced the chain as general maintenance so hopefully.... If anyone knows where I could purchase one for that engine please let me know.
Hey Jeff. Good to see ya back at her. We just getting settled into new house in Nova Scotia. Find me on Fakebook and add me. Have a great day my friend
Hi Tom. Good deal on your move, nice you survived that bad ride deal. Did get your message. Very nice. Always figured that big G was a crook for some reason. Sorry I never did facebook or any of those dealies. I have been working even on the weekends and were not talking like only several hours. Got new racing seats and multiple LED front lighting. Cool. I mean COLD. I'm in Georgia. That looks freezing. Take another lap?...not me.
I love the video. Great idea with the extra exhaust!
Got another ride last night, yeah - very cold. Installed new seats and multiple LED lights on the front. Had to get my ride.

Sounds Nice...Wrap some heat wrap used on car headers around those pipes and hide all the nasty welds LOL
